Abstract:

Eco-tourism is one of the types of tourism that has developed rapidly in Iran. Mazandaran province has witnessed the proliferation of rural residence over the last 5 years due to the natural attractions of the rich rural culture. Use of tourism opportunities to improve the rural development and the need to establish a framework for preserving the social and natural values and controlling the quality of residential architecture, addressing the relationship between residential architecture quality and satisfaction It has made tourists indispensable. This article aims to find a framework for standardizing the architecture of residences, and assesses the satisfaction of indigenous peoples. The research method is descriptive-analytical in which after collecting a concept on enamel content analysis of theoretical foundations of indigenous architecture and identifying experienced models of satisfaction measurement, field data was collected through a questionnaire. According to the developed conceptual model, the physical, spatial, naturalistic and social dimensions of indigenous residential architecture are assumed to correspond to the basic, functional and emotional requirements of tourist satisfaction, respectively. The results of the research and analysis of the findings show that the architecture of the resorts has been the most satisfying tourist in terms of meeting the basic needs of the accommodation and accommodation and in this respect they preferred the hotels and villas. Next, architectural naturalism indices gained as much as 60% of audience satisfaction and were able to satisfy tourists' motivation for nature. The socio-cultural dimension of the resorts has the least tourist's satisfaction.

History and Objectives: Since sepsis has a high mortality rate in all elderly and handicap population, specially at nursing homes, the present study was performed in order to identify the prevalence of sepsis. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study was done. Blood samples were collected from 124 residents of Kahrizak Nursing House. After identification of isolated bacteria by standard methods, antibiogram tests were performed to determine the sensitivity or resistance of bacteria to common antibiotics. Sex and age of subjects were recorded. Results: of 124 subjects (32.2% male, 67.8% female), 16.2% had sepsis. The isolated bacteria were coagulase negative staphylococci, Staph. aureus, E. coli, Strep. pyrogenes and Klebsiella. The Gram positive bacteria were resistant to fumatidine (77%), ciprofloxacin (75%), cephazoline (74.5%), and sensitive to co-trimoxazol (82%), gentamycin (80%), and amikacin (78.5%). The Gram negative bacteria were resistant to cephazolin (61.5%), cephalothin (52%), and sensitive to co-trimoxazol (95%), tetracycline (88%), fumatidine (79.5%), and gentamycin (79.5%). Conclusions: In the present study, the isolated bacteria werenormalflora, so it should be emphasized the proper personal hygiene such as hand washings to control infections. Antibiogram test is recommended for isolated bacteria.

Abstract:

Students’ residence halls have been studied repeatedly during the last decades from various perspectives (eg satisfaction). However, our knowledge is very limited in terms of students’ emotions towards various residence hall interior and exterior spaces. Besides, very little study exists on the impact of homelike furniture on students’ emotions. The question driving this research is whether the replacement of institutional furniture with home like furniture affects students’ emotional states towards their residence hall? The research follows a mixed, multi-staged methodology. Stage one used structured interviews of students about what might make a residence hall similar to home environments. This second stage evaluates students’ emotions toward their current residence halls (with institutional furniture) and modified images of the same place with homelike furniture. We used SAM to evaluate students’ emotional reactions in terms of valence, arousal, and dominance. The findings of the study suggests that home like residence halls significantly affect students’ positive emotions. The most positive emotions (valence, arousal, and dominance) were reported on kitchenette, corridor, and yard spaces and no significant differences were found on in-room dé cor.

Abstract:

This study examined how motivation for learning English, the amount of contact with English, and length of residence in thetarget language area affects Korean graduate students’ English pragmatic skills. The study attempted to account for differential pragmatic development among 50 graduate-level Korean students in relation to individual factors mentioned above. The data were collected using three types of elicitation instruments: a written background questionnaire, a discourse completion test, and the mini-Attitude/Motivation Test Battery. Descriptive and inferential statistics (correlation coefficients, and multiple regressions) were used to analyze the data. The findings of the study revealed that (a) the level of motivation had a positive and moderate relationship with the ESL learners’ L2 pragmatic competence; and (b) the amount of L2 contact and length of residence had only a weak and insignificant impact on the participants’pragmatic competence.

Abstract:

POLYMER FLOODING IS THE BEST METHOD OF ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY IN THE THIRD STAGE. POLYMER GELS SHOUD HAVE THE BEST ABILITY OF CONDUCTION, IMPROVEMENT OF VELOCITY PROFILES AND DELAY THE FINGERING PHENOMENON OF WATER. THEY INCREASE THE VISCOSITY OF WATER AND DECREASING THE MOBILITY RATIO. TO AVOID WASTING MONEY, TIME AND ENERGY, BEFORE INJECTING THE SYNTHESIZED HYDROGELS IN TO THE OIL RESERVOIRS, THEY MUST BE TESTED IN A SIMULATED ENVIRONMENT IN THE LABORATORY FIRST AND THEN THEIR PROPERTIES EXAMINED. IN THIS PROJECT, TWO GROUPS OF HYDROGEL WERE INJECTED IN TO THE COLUMNS FILLED WITH CALCIUM CARBONATE AND AFTER THAT THEIR RESIDENCE TIME DIAGRAMS WERE COMPARED. IN THE END IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE INJECTION OF POLYACRYLAMIDE IS THE BEST CHOICE. ALSO THE EFFECT OF CONCENTRATION AND STRUCTURE ON THE RESIDENCE TIME DIAGRAM STUDIED IN DETAIL.

Abstract:

Background: Current evidence shows inequality in the outcomes of rural and urban patients treated at their place of residence. This study compared in-hospital mortality between rural and urban patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) to find whether there were differences in the outcome and received treatment. Methods: Between May 2007 and January 2018, patients admitted with ACS were included. The patients’,demographic, clinical, and laboratory data, as well as their in-hospital medical courses, were recorded. The association between place of residence (rural/ urban) and in-hospital mortality due to ACS was evaluated using logistic regression adjusted for potential confounders. Results: Of 9088 recruited patients (mean age =61. 30±, 12. 25 y,5557 men [61. 1%]), 838 were rural residents. A positive family history of coronary artery disease (P=0. 003), smoking (P=0. 002), and hyperlipidemia (P=0. 026), as well as a higher body mass index (P=0. 013), was seen more frequently in the urban patients, while the rural patients had lower education levels (P<0. 001) and higher unemployment rates (P=0. 009). In-hospital mortality occurred in 135 patients (1. 5%): 10 rural (1. 2%) and 125 urban (1. 5%) patients (P=0. 465). The Firth regression model, used to adjust the effects of possible confounders, showed no significant difference concerning in-hospital mortality between the rural and urban patients (OR, 1. 57,95% CI, 0. 376 to 7. 450,P=0. 585). Conclusion: This study found no significant differences in receiving proper treatment and in-hospital mortality between ru-ral and urban patients with ACS.

Abstract:

The propose of this study was to investigate whether people practice sport at their leisure time or not and to find out the relationship between their leisure time and sport. Measuring was based on questionnaire prepared (r = 80/1) and the statistical pupulation included men and women aged between 20 to 65 years old. 0.08% of statistical pupulation (13480 persons) selected from states 27 provinees and 241 cities regarded as sample. The statistical procedure also was based on descriptive and inferential basis and included Chi square, analysis of variances, coefficient of correlation, and logistic regressions step by step. The results of this research showed that the average age of the participants were 34 years and 79.3% of them were married. Television was their first attempt in their leisure time and the second attempt was speaking with relatives and neighbors. Sport is the first intensive activity of the people at their leisure time and 60% of them peform physical activity. The research also showed that there was significant relationship between the leisure time and the satisfaction of doing sport.
