Abstract:

With study of biologic iron cycle suitable candidates was selected to Ilmenite bioleaching. Finally Thiobacillus ferrooxidans isolated from weakest water of Talesh chooka factory and suitable media to its isolation and purification the best selective broth medium was suggested medium DSMZ with pH= 1.4 and inorganic medium was 2:2. We used concentrated ilmenite with 47% of purity Caspian Sea beach sample with 7% of purity and isolated microbial strain from weakest water of Talesh chooka factory in leaching study. In this project, used Agitation technique and content ilmenire was 10% of leaching medium there is studied several factors. In bacterial leaching of ilmenire by isolated microorganism, ilmenite leaching process depends on some factors such as pH, temperature, number of microorganism, size, kind of ore, quantities of Fe+3.

Abstract:

Pike (Esox lucius) one of the importance in Anzali Wetland that many study carried out on parasite pollution of this fish in Anzali Wetland. But didn’t study abut effects of season, age and sex of Pike on parasite pollutions. For the reason, change effects season, age and sex studied on parasite pollution in the Pike of Anzali Wetland from summer 2003 to spring 2004. For this purpose, 120 specie Pike after catch and transfer to laboratory was survey about parasitological. According this survey, four species of parasite isolated from Pike of Anzali wetland,   including: Raphidascaris acus, Triaenophoros crassus, Tetraonchus monenteron, Eustrongylides exicus. , E. exicus observed only in the one of Pike, in summer, meal, 3+ years old and one number. Also, T. monenteron observed only in the one of Pike, in spring, unknown sex and 2+ years old. Prevalence rate, mean intensity, means abundance and range of number of R.  acus was 20.83 % , 20.321, 0.48 , 1-8 , and for , T. monenteron was  70 % , 13.08 , 9,16 , 1-59 respectably. Also, in between season, age and sex different were highest pollution 3+ years old and meal. Abstract:

Vaginitis is among the most common conditions for which women seek medical care, with vaginal discharge accounting for approximately 10 million office visits each year. Although vaginitis can have a variety of causes, it most often is associated with infection or atrophic changes. Common infectious forms of vaginitis include bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis and trichomoniasis.Although these infections generally respond to treatment, misdiagnosis and, rarely, pharmacologic resistance may occur. In this study we examined the prevalence and risk factors of vaginitis of 440 inpatient and outpatient women attending a hospital in Lahijan –north of IRAN during 2003-2004. The traditional diagnosis of vaginitis incorporates patient symptoms, clinical findings observed during vaginal examination, and laboratory analysis of vaginal fluid. as the results of this survey obtained from the 440 subjects in the sample show, the most prevalent cases are: bacterial vaginosis (21.1%), Candida albicans (19.3%) and Trichomonas vaginitis (15.2%).The results also reveal that (61.2%) of the people who suffering from Trichomonas vaginalis (35.3%) of the people who suffer from Candida vaginitis and (37.8%) of the people infected by bacterial vaginosis are above 30 years. Whereas 69.7% of the people suffering from bacterial vaginosis and 38.8% of the people infected by trichomonas vaginitis are below 30 years of ages. A further comparison carried out this survey was between the literate and illiterate and also he employed and unemployed women. The results indicate that the literate and unemployed women were more susceptible to danger. Moreever; the study also investigated the influential factors which might lead to the emergence of the disease.

Abstract:

Toxoplasmosis is one of the prevalent parasitic diseases in most parts of the world including Iran it caused by a unicellular parasite belonging to the toxoplasmosis genus and sarcocytidae family. The results of the researches in different provinces of Iran showed 51.8% contamination. In view of the prevalence of the diseases in Lahijan, we sought to examine the sero-epidemiology of the disease there. In the sero-epidemiologic study by using I.F.A Technique on different patients who referred to Diagnosis centers in the city of Lahijan, the relation of this disease with parameters including age, sex, occupation, residential place, education, contact with cats and having vegetables and salad was specified. Out of 190 people, 4.2 % of men and 5.2% of women had titer upper than 1:400.In the group with age range of 21-30 years old out of 190 cases, 10% of people were negative and 4.2% of this group had titer upper than 1:400.Contact with cats played an important role in prevalence of this disease in the city of Lahijan. Out of 190 cases, 59% were negative and 9.4 % had titer upper than 1:400. The statistical studies do not confirm a meaningful relation between type of occupation and this disease, there was no significant difference between people who had referred to the centers from urban and rural societies and there were equal numbers of positive and negative cases in both societies. No meaningful relation was observed between having vegetables and salad and this disease.

Abstract:

In this research, products of Tonekabon and Noshahr dairy and meet factories were sampled and looked for Listeria monocytogenes. Dairy products were: low and double fat milk,   low and double fat yogurt, cream, cheese and butter. Meet products were weeny, hamburger and sausage. Number of samples was 50 for each product. Finally, by the standard method of Listeria isolation, Listeria monocytogenes was isolated from a double fat milk sample (from Tonekabon dairy factory). Then isolated strain was measured under different heat conditions and its heat resistance property was compared with standard strain and comparison data was evaluated with ANOVA table (SPSS program). Given data were log10 numbers of bacteria colonies after heat condition on PALCAM agar (base on suggested method of Brocklehurst   and Parker). Comparison of standard strain and isolated strain data shown significant difference between their heat resistances properties (number of .sig in ANOVA table). At result, survey of this comparison shown that isolated strain is heat resistance.

Abstract:

In the present research, in order to count red and white blood cells of fingerling Acipenser persicus and their changes in different levels of salinity,48 Acipenser persicus fingerlings were used in the Institute of International Researches on Sturgeons in 2007. For this research, 16 zouks(of 100 L in capacity) with 0,4,8 and 12ppt concentrations were used each of which having 10 Acipenser persicus fingerlings with an average weight of 5.5g. Blood samples were taken in a time period of 0 to36 hours. These samples were taken from caudal peduncles of the fingerlings. The results obtained from blood cells counts showed that there were an average number of 10666/66±3920 white blood cells per a cubic millimeter in the control group. The average white blood cells count in different salinities (4,8 and 12ppt) revealed that the number of these cells in 8 and 12ppt groups had a significant statistical difference from those of the control group(P<0.05).Also the number of red blood cells of the control group was found to be 438888.89±145726.15 per a cubic millimeter. In all counts of these cells in 4,8 and 12ppt salinities no significant statistical difference was seen from those of the control group(P>0.05).The obtained results indicated that in each salinity, with the increase of the fish survival hours, the number of white blood cells showed an increasing trend and with the increase of the salinity level, there was a significant difference between the number of  white blood cells in different hours

Abstract:

In the study 127 specimens of Silurus glanis were caught, monthly, by means of gill net and cast nets. All specimens were studied and measured for 19 morphological features including total length, standard length, …. Also, to study diet the digestive system each specimen was removed from adomen, through anatomical dissection and was fixed by formalin. The hard radius of pectoral fin was removed, in order to determin the age, and it was found that the fish in this set belong the age group 1+7+ and fish at age 3-4 are the most abundant ones. The average, of weight was (906.60) with standard deviation (777.04), and the average of fish total length with standard deviation 10.21 was 48.55 and length-weight relation was obtained using regression model. There was a meaningful cooperation between total length and (body) weight. (P<00.1) but there was no meaningful cooperation between weight age and length-age. The average of stomach indicator: (272.43) intestine indicator: (51.26) and growth correlation (602.91). There were food elements in fish s (silurus glanis) digestive system including frogs, crustacean, insects, water plants, mice, different kinds of fish and aquatic birds. The most frequent food was related to kind of teleost (56.66%) and the least frequent food was related to mice, aquaic birds and plants (3.12%). The obtained results show that the indicator of intestine length to the body length, was calculated less than 1 indicating that Silurus glanis in Chamkhaleh River is carnivorous.
