Abstract: 

Tetrazole functionary is a popular substation for the carboxylic acid group in the drug research field. The drug molecules containing tetrazole group have a long half time in living organism. In addition, four nitrogen atoms of tetrazole offer a greater opportunity in hydrogen bond doner acceptor interactions. In this research work, we described synthesis of new compounds of these families. Using isonicotin aldehyde and hydroxyIamine- hydrochloride in the pyridine, solvent was converted to 4-pyridine carbaldehyde oxime (compound l). Then water absorption process with anhydride acetic. Organize isonicotin nitrile (2). The 4-(2H-tetrazole-5-yl) pyridine (compound 3) was synthesized by [3+2] cyclo addition reaction between compound 2 and NaN3, NH4CI, DMF at 110oC. The structures of all synthesized compounds were investigated by FT-IR and 1 H NMR spectroscopes.

Abstract: 

The synthesis of ten novel azo dyes derived from 9-Aryl-1H-xanthene-1, 8(2H)-dione derivatives from one equivalent of azo-linked salicylaldehydes and two equivalent of dimedone in the presence of 3, 3'-(butane-1, 4-diyl)bis(1, 2-dimethyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium)hydrogensulfate, as a green media, in short reaction time and high yield is reported. Azo-linked aldehydes containing electron withdrawing groups (such as nitro and halide) or electron releasing groups (such as methyl and methoxy group) were employed and reacted well to give the corresponding xanthenes in the yields ranging from 82 to 95%. This method provides several advantages such as environmental friendliness, solvent free, simple work-up, and mild reaction condition. All of synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1HNMR and 13CNMR spectroscopy and elemental analyses.

Abstract: 

Today, the importance of modern science and technology, especially the use of environmental isotopes in various studies, including hydrology and geohydrology, is obvious for anyone. Given the quantitative and qualitative crisis status of groundwater resources in Iran, having accurate isotopic data on the quantitative and qualitative status of water resources can lead to good planning and, consequently, proper management of water resources. Due to the lack of sufficient studies on the environmental isotopes in Iran, which, of course, is due to the lack of technologies, high costs of sample transfer to overseas and sanctions, while reviewing the sampling of Groundwater resources, sample preparation methods for stable isotopes of 2H, 18O, 34S and 13C, and the standards for each isotope; related devices such as Gasbench+ DeltaPlusXP, Elemental Analyzer-Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (EA-IRMS), and Total Inorganic Carbon-Total Organic Carbon (TIC-TOC), as well as measurement methods are presented.

Abstract: 

استفاده از واکنشهای تجزیه فوتونی دوتریوم و تولید نوترون توسط ان یک روش دقیق برای تعیین درصد دوتریوم موجود در اب طبیعی یا اب دوتریوم دار شده است. منبع تولید فوتونهای لازم، واکنش 23Na(n,g)24Na می باشد که نوترون ان را می توان توسط راکتورهای تحقیقاتی تولید کرد. اشعه گامای گسیل یافته می تواند انرژی لازم را برای تجزیه دوتریوم موجود در اب ایجاد کند. سپس نوترونهای حاصل از واکنش این فوتونها با دوتریوم، پس از کند شدن توسط پارافین و رسیدن به اشکار سازهای BF3 ثبت و شمرده می شوند. از روی طیف حاصل و مدرج سازی انها توسط مقادیر دقیق از پیش تعیین شده محلولهای دوتریوم دار، می توان به مقدار درصد دقیق دوتریوم موجود در یک نمونه نامعلوم پی برد. وسایل لازم برای چنین ازمایشی در اغلب مراکز تحقیقاتی به صورت پراکنده موجودند و این امکان وجود دارد که با سر هم کردن انها به روشی که ما برای اولین بار انجام داده ایم، به اشکار سازی و اندازه گیری مقدار دقیق دوتریوم موجود در اب دست یافت.

Abstract: 

The synthesis, characterization, and mesomorphic investigation of new liquid crystals are described. The goal was to synthesize esters starting with 6- and 7-hydroxycoumarin. The structures of the synthesized compounds were actually determined by FT-IR and 1H-NMR. The mesophase behavior of the synthesized compounds was characterized and investigated by using (DSC) differential scanning calorimetry and (POM) polarizing the optical microscopy. The mesophase transitions are enantiotropic, the peaks being sharp and the mesomorphic range wide. The synthesized compounds exhibit a nematic phase.

Abstract: 

Utilization of Photodisintegration reaction of Deuterium, 2H(γ,n)1H, is a precise technique for determining the percentage of 2H in tritiated and natural water. The 23Na(n,γ)24Na reaction is a suitable γ-source for producing the 2H(γ,n)1H reaction. Tehran Research Reactor was used as a neutron source for producing 24Na isotopes. The BF3 detectors were used to detect the neutron emission of H2 content of water. We obtained a linear calibration plot by repeating the experiment with many samples of different concentrations of tritiated water. With this simple portable apparatus which have been used for this purpose for the first time, and corresponding linear plot, we can monitor and determine easily and accurately the 2H concentration of an unknown sample.

Abstract: 

In this paper, synthesis, characterization and examination of antibacterial and anticancer activities of MoS_2/MnMoO_4 nanocomposite have been studied. The nanocomposite was synthesized by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method and then its structural, optical, and magnetic properties were studied by various analyses including X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry. To study the antibacterial activity, two Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria, as well as for examination of anti-cancer activity, the human colon cancer cell line (HCT-116) have been used. The obtained results show that the nanocomposite was synthesized without any impurities and in the nanosheet morphology. Also, it illustrates a remarkable antibacterial activity for gram-positive bacteria and has no antibacterial effect on gram-negative ones. MIC50 is 51.81 μg/mL for S. aureus bacteria. Additionally, the study of the anti-cancer effect on the HTC-116 cell line shows that it does not have significant anti-cancer activity and IC50 is around 200 μg/mL.
