For a connected open subset Ω of the plane and n a positive integer, let B_n (Ω ) be the Cowen-Douglas class of operators. In this article, for a special case of Ω , we show that if T∈ B_n (Ω ) and its canonical model is a Von Neumann operator, then T is reflexive. In the main theorem of this paper we assume that the adjoint of the canonical model associated with g. B. K is a Von Neuman operator. We may replace this by the assumption that ‖ M_P ‖ ≤ c‖ P‖ _Ω or ‖ M_P ‖ =c‖ P‖ _Ω for every polynomial P. Actually K is the reproducing kernel for a coanalytic functional Hilbert space K on which we can define the operator M_z^* of multiplication byz. Note that if K is stricly positive kernel function on Λ , it gives rise to a functional Hilbert space on Λ with reproducing kernel K. A bounded linear operator T is said to be Von Neumann if the C^*-algebra generated by T is a Von Neumann algebra. We must point out that the operators of Cowen-Douglas class is not reflexive in general, since every operator of this class is unitarily equivalent to the adjoint of non-reflexive operator multiplication by Z ̅ . We need to impose the additional conditions for REFLEXIVITY of T.

Introduction: Theoretical REFLEXIVITY is a concept that has been widely accepted in health research and most researchers have acknowledged the importance of REFLEXIVITY in the clarity and increased accuracy of qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to introduce, explain the importance of, and describe REFLEXIVITY as an important characteristic of qualitative research.Method: This research was conducted using library and internet resources without time limitation until 2015. Information was collected by searching library resources and scientific websites. Then, relevant articles were selected and their contents were extracted.Results: There are many factors for the improvement of the quality of a qualitative study; one of these factors is REFLEXIVITY. REFLEXIVITY is a characteristic of research that can be considered during the whole process of qualitative research and is not limited to a certain stage. It is an extensive activity in which the researcher tries to be aware of his/her ideas, attitudes, and beliefs and make their influence on his/her own research clear for him/herself and sometimes the audience. Despite the existing doubts about the ability to conduct it, almost all experts in qualitative research have emphasized its necessity in qualitative research, especially in the field of health. Creating REFLEXIVITY in qualitative research and preserving it during the development of qualitative research will increase their precision and accuracy.Conclusion: REFLEXIVITY can enrich qualitative research, improve their quality, and prevent the occurrence of bias. Therefore, attention to this factor is recommended in every step of qualitative research.

We give suffcient conditions on a domain W so that the associated canonical model is reflexive. Also, we discuss a class of shifts that are reflexive, and the operator M  of multiplication by z on a Banach space of functions analytic on a domain is shown to be reflexive whenever Mz is polynomially bounded.

The paper aims at reevaluating a conception of the aesthetic that was developed by Kant and Hegel but that has been widely neglected due to the fact that their positions in aesthetics have been wrongly considered to be antagonistic to one another. The conception states that the aesthetic is a practice of reflecting on other human practices. Kant was the first to articulate this conception, but nevertheless falls short of giving a satisfying account of it, as he doesn’ t succeed in explaining its objective aspect. I claim that Hegel resolves this problem by understanding works of art as objects that thermalize essential orientations of historical-cultural practices. But his explanation fails to grasp the specificity of art as a reflective practice. However, Hegel’ s position gives us a hint for how to deal with this problem: Reflection has to be understood in a practical, and not in a cognitive sense.

Using a recently obtained criterion of C*-REFLEXIVITY for commutative C*-algebras, we show that the C*-algebra of continuous functions on the Higson corona is not C*-reflexive. This implies that C*-REFLEXIVITY doesn’t pass to quotient C*-algebras.

Self-REFLEXIVITY is a meta-media and meta-reference theory which is defined and discussed in philosophy, psychology, and different forms of art. Though it is not a new concept and we can trace it back to the beginning of the history of art and in the earliest texts, but by the rise of Brecht’ s theories, it was theorized and accepted by the researchers; and in the sixties, self-REFLEXIVITY turned into the core idea of postmodernism. The most valuable feature of this theory is awareness: the awareness of the spectator facing the art and the awareness of the author in the procedure of creating it, which leads to creativity and distinct functions in these types of works. In any reflective piece of art, the audience is deliberately conscious of all the indications of the art and freely interprets them. Self-REFLEXIVITY in cinema includes a vast variety of motion pictures, from the silent era to the present time, which has different attractions and functions based on their course and representation in the history of filmmaking. The intensive variety of REFLEXIVITY might even mislead us to this idea that every film is a self-reflexive one, but it is the functionality of reflexive elements which would help us to determine a reflexive film from a non-reflexive one. REFLEXIVITY has developed through time, and by any historical event has taken new forms and distinct functionality. While its approach changes from one kind of art to another kind and from one genre to another genre, REFLEXIVITY is much related to its position in the text, and its cultural and social background, and even the orientation of the audience. The main aim of this research is to study the functions of self-REFLEXIVITY in films which can make the spectator more attracted to them. This article is a descriptive, analytic, and a qualitative research which has been demonstrated by the library research process. Since there are a lot of different opinions on the meaning and the terminology of self-REFLEXIVITY, this study consists of various definitions of self-REFLEXIVITY in art, different styles of REFLEXIVITY and its dramatic functions in Cinema.

In this paper we will give sufficient conditions for the powers of the multipliction operator Mz to be reflexive on formal Laurent sequence spaces.
