Background: Growth hormone (GH) produced by the somatotropic cells on the anterior part of the hypophysis.Its clinical application for many years was restricted to GH deficient children, but in recent years it has been widened to various other clinical conditions, not necessarily related to short stature. Currently, FDA has approved its usage in children with GH deficiency, Turner or Noonan syndromes, chronic renal failure, children born small for gestational age (SGA) and Prader-Willi syndrome. The aim of this paper was to summarize the current data on GH administration in modern pharmacotherapy.

The topic of INDICATION and its divisions has no precedence in Stoic-Megarian logic and it is regarded as logical innovations of Ibn Sina. On the whole he can be conceived more as the founder of the topic of INDICATIONs and not its expositor.Among the threefold literal connotation, INDICATION per nexum has been more controversial of the rest. Ibn Sina's statements and above all in the works of his commentators and followers there has been much controversies and doubts, as regards the nature, condition of actualization or even the validity of this connotation.Doubt about non-independence of INDICATION per nexum and its mixture of two corresponding connotation, doubt about rarity of connotation and interdiction of its applicability in the science because of non-infinity of its literal connotation have been among the most important of these doubts.This research, by emphasizing on the independence as well as literal mode of this connotation, tries to show that this connotation used in sciences, and regards the validity of this connotation as "mental necessity" and of the kind of "necessity between absolute".

In religious thought, the miracle as a phenomenon is one of the most important reasons for proving prophethood. There are two broad views among Islamic thinkers about the type of INDICATIONs of miracles to prove prophethood. Some consider the INDICATIONs of miracles as rational ones. In contrast, some others hold that there is no logical connection between a miracle and its implied referent and that a miracle is considered as convincing INDICATION pertaining to the truth of a claim for prophethood. The present study aims to examine and criticize the views of those who consider miracles as convincing reasons for proving prophethood and thus deny the logical connection between miracles and the truth of a claim for prophethood.

Sohrevardi’ s “ Simurgh-become hoopoe” passes by meandrous physical lingual paths and creates new concepts under their influence. In the discussion of “ Simurgh-become hoopoe” by Sohrevardi, we are encountered with a type of INDICATION that not only appears in the status of a bird, but also emerges in other status as well. Investigating this, we enter the realm of structural lingual substitution. In this study, the researcher has tried to investigate conversational and cultural functions with an analytical-descriptive approach in order to pass from a physical-action status to a symbolic tranxendental one and to delineate INDICATION-semantics characteristics in the story of “ The Calling of the Simurgh” by Sohrevardi. “ Hoopoe” as a substitutional order in Sohrevardi’ s discussion, is gradually forgotten as a bird and is altered to a meaningful INDICATION through the impact of conceptual transformation: in fact, “ hoopoe” is everything besides being “ hoopoe” . Such transformation that leads to an alteration from appearance to multi-conceptual and tranxendental type in language is called evolutionary path of INDICATION.
