Abstract: 

In this paper, a new scheme for serial communication is proposed. In this method, in addition to the pulse states (high and low), either of negative slope or positive slope of the pulse (saw-tooth waveform) is employed as a representative for another digit. Using pulse slope as a representative for a separate digit will result in sending two-bit-digits using a single pulse, which doubles the transfer rate. The proposed scheme can be used in both synchronized and asynchronized communications and can improve communication speed. Through simulating the proposed scheme, it turned out that this method, because of its proper immunity to noise, can be used as a peripheral interface alongside in-chip communication. The main idea in the raised discussion is to obtain four different geometric pulse shapes acting as four different numbers in the quaternary numeric system, in which it can be serialized/desrialized as easy as pulse states. This proposed method and the suggested system for serialization and deserialization of data can be an adequate alternative in high-speed communication approaches.

LOW-DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODES FROM AFFINE PERMUTATION MATRICES, CALLED APMLDPC CODES, ARE A CLASS OF LDPC CODES WHOSE PARITY-CHECK MATRICES CONSIST OF ZERO MATRICES OR AFFINE PERMUTATION MATRICES OF THE SAME ORDERS. Abstract: 

Background: Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is a major causative agent of acute clinical hepatitis in adults through much of Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Open reading frame 3 (ORF3) encodes around 120 amino acids of phosphorylation protein that associates with the cytoskeleton, while its precise biological function is still unknown.Objectives: In order to understand the function of ORF3 protein (pORF3) in depth, HEV ORF3 interacting proteins were screened in human hepatocytes cDNA library using two-hybrid system techniques and further verification of the interactions were carried out through co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP).Materials and Methods: The Cyto-Trap two-hybrid system technology, a classical method for analyzing protein interactions, was used to screen the pORF3 interacting proteins from human hepatocytes cDNA library.Results: Through the Cyto-Trap two-hybrid system, eight proteins interacting with pORF3 were winnowed. The Co-IP results confirmed that hepsin which is reported to function as the inhibitor of several tumors reacted with pORF3.Conclusions: Out of eight screened proteins interacting with pORF3, hepsin was confirmed to have specific interactions with pORF3.

Abstract: 

Objective: Evaluation of Bax encoding plasmid for increasing efficacy of DNA vaccine plasmid encoding gB of Herpes Simplex Virus type 1.Materials and Methods: We compared three different dosages of Bax encoding plasmid (pcbax) including 10, 25 and 50 mg of plasmid DNA. They were co-injected ineradermally with glycoprotein B (gB) of herpes simplex virus (HSV)-1 encoded plasmid (pcgB) in C57BL/6 mice to elicit immune responses to protect against lethal HSV-1 challenge. Immune responses to the antigen were assessed by lymphocyte proliferative responses and cytokine (INF-g and IL-4) release assays.Results: The study demonstrates that the mice immunized with 25 mg pcbax together with pcgB have more efficient protection than the mice immunized with 10 and 50 mg of pcbax and pcgB. Analysing of cell-mediated responses show that the mice immunized with 25mg pcbax and pcgB induce stronger lymphocyte proliferative responses and higher levels of INF-g and IL-4 compared to the mice are received 10 and 50 mg of pcbax and pcgB.Conclusion: The data show that co-immunization with 25 mg of pcbax and pcgB increase immune responses compared to 10 and 50 mg of pcbax and pcgB. This can be considered a promising approach for development an efficient DNA vaccine against HSV-1 or other pathogens.

Abstract: 

Introduction Encoding models are used to predict human brain activity in response to sensory stimuli. The purpose of these models is to explain how sensory information represent in the brain. Convolutional neural networks trained by images are capable of encoding magnetic resonance imaging data of humans viewing natural images. Considering the hemodynamic response function, these networks are capable of estimating the blood oxygen level dependence of subject viewing videos without any recurrence or feedback mechanism. For this purpose, feature map extracted from the convolutional neural network and the concept of receptive field has been used for the encoding model. The main assumption of this model is that activity in each voxel encodes a spatially localized region across multiple feature maps and for each voxel and this area are fixed for all feature maps. Contribution of each feature map in the activity of each voxel is determined by the corresponding weight. Materials and Methods In this study, three healthy volunteers watching a set of videos. This collection contains images that represent real-life visual experience. MRI and fMRI data are acquired on a 3 tesla MRI system phase-array surface coil. Results Data revealed that human visual cortex has hierarchical structure. Earlier visual areas have a smaller receptive field size in and response to simple feature like edge, whereas higher visual areas have a larger receptive field size and response to more complex features, such as pattern. Conclusion This model of video stimuli has a higher interpretation capacity than the previous models

Abstract: 

Body is an important subject in sociological literature. It is so important that sociology of body has contributed to social theories. Body appears as a competitive field which is controlled and changed by numerous power elements. Female body has an important role in this field. The female body has numerous characteristics though which mechanisms of consumption, power game and market place gain profits by encoding and forming it.This paper aims to investigate the female body and woman labor in the work place. The present research attempts to answer this question: How is female body encoded in work place? Our question was inspired looking at the manner of controlling the female body and its commodification at the work place. Grounded theory which is theoretically oriented has been used in this research. The method of collecting data is, studying documents and observation and the questionnaire. According to grounded theory, data has been encoded and conceptualized in some steps. Findings show that power makes female body an ideological medium by manipulating it, on the one hand, and the market commercializes female body for obtaining capital and profit, on the other.
