Abstract: 

In this paper, the Wiener and hyper Wiener indices of two kinds of dendrimer graphs are computed. Using the Wiener index formula, the Szeged, Schultz, PI and Gutman indices of these graphs are also determined.

Abstract: 

THIS STUDY AIMS TO COMPARISON BETWEEN THE FIRST GENERATION POLY (AMIDOAMINE) (PAMAM) DENDRIMER (G1) AND DENDRIMER FUNCTIONALIZED REDUCED GRAPHENE OXIDE (G1/RGO) TO MEASURE THE ANTI-CANCER DRUG USING MODIFIED PENCIL GRAPHITE ELECTRODES (PGES). AS NEW ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSORS, MODIFIED PGES WERE DEVELOPED AND USED FOR MONITORING RITUXIMAB (RTX) DRUG USING DIFFERENTIAL PULSE VOLTAMMETRY (DPV), AND CYCLIC VOLTAMMETRY (CV). IN SO DOING, FOR BOTH SENSORS, A WELL RESOLVED REVERSIBLE DIFFUSION CONTROLLED VOLTAMMETRIC PEAK WAS OBTAINED IN PHOSPHATE BUFFER SOLUTION (PH=7). HOWEVER, COMPARED TO THE G1/PGE, THE G1/RGO/PGE FUNCTIONED FAR BETTER IN THE DRUG DETECTION. TO OBTAIN LINEAR RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PEAK CURRENT AND CONCENTRATION OF RITUXIMAB, DIFFERENTIAL PULSE VOLTAMMETER WAS APPLIED AND USED FOR QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF RITUXIMAB DRUG IN BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS. LINEAR RESPONSE WAS OBTAINED IN THE RANGE OF 0.0700 TO 0.8340 MM WITH A DETECTION LIMIT OF 0.0029 MM FOR G1/PGE AND 0.0012 MM FOR G1/RGO/PGE.

Abstract: 

Let e be an edge of a G connecting the vertices u and v. Define two sets N1 (e | G) and N2(e |G) as N1(e | G)={xÎ V(G)| d(x,u)< d(x,v)} and N2(e | G)={xÎ V(G)| d(x,v)< d(x,u) }.The number of elements of N1(e | G) and N2(e | G) are denoted by n1(e | G) and n2(e | G) , respectively. The Szeged index of the graph G is defined as Sz(G)=SeÎE n1 (e | G) n2( e | G). In this paper we compute the Szeged index of a 4,4 ׳-Bipyridinium dendrimer.

Abstract: 

BACKGROUND: DENDRIMERS HAVE UNIQUE MOLECULAR ARCHITECTURES AND PROPERTIES THAT MAKE THEM ATTRACTIVE MATERIALS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NANOMEDICINES. KEY PROPERTIES SUCH AS DEFINED ARCHITECTURE AND A HIGH RATIO OF MULTIVALENT SURFACE MOIETIES TO MOLECULAR VOLUME ALSO MAKE THESE NANOSCALED MATERIALS HIGHLY INTERESTING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SYNTHETIC (NON-VIRAL) VECTORS FOR THERAPEUTIC NUCLEIC ACIDS. SINCE THEIR CONCEPTION IN THE LATE 1970S AND EARLY 1980S THE UNIQUE PROPERTIES OF DENDRIMERS HAVE SPAWNED A WHOLE RANGE OF NEW RESEARCH AREAS RANGING FROM DRUG AND GENE DELIVERY APPLICATIONS TO PROCESSING, DIAGNOSTICS, AND NANO ENGINEERING [1]. DENDRIMERS ARE GENERALLY CHARACTERISED BY A WELL DEFINED MOLECULAR ARCHITECTURE BASED ON A STEPWISE SYNTHESIS USING EITHER A DIVERGENT OR A CONVERGENT METHOD [2].METHODS: WE SYNTHESIZED DENDRIMER G0 WITH USING AMINO GROUPS AND ACRYLATE (AS STARTING MATERIALS) BY THE DIVERGENT METHOD FOR GENE DELIVERY SYSTEMS.100NG OF HFB1 PCR PRODUCT WAS ADDED TO DENDRIMER SOLUTIONS WITH DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS IN EQUAL VOLUME TO ACHIEVE DESIRED N/P RATIOS. EACH SAMPLE WAS ALLOWED TO MAKE COMPLEXES BY INCUBATION AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.10ML OF EACH SAMPLE WAS MIXED WITH 2 ML OF LOADING BUFFER AND 1% AGAROSE GEL WAS USED TO DETERMINE THE MOBILITY OF PLASMID IN THE ELECTROPHORETIC FIELD FOLLOWED BY ETHIDIUM BROMIDE (ETBR) STAINING. GEL WAS THEN VISUALIZED BY UV ILLUMINATOR.RESULTS: DENDRIMER WAS SYNTHESIZED BY CONVERGENT METHOD AND WAS PREPARED FOR LOADING GENE. THE FT-IR SPECTRUM OF DENDRIMER SHOWED A BAND AT 3285 CM-1 FOR N-H STRETCH AND C=O STRETCH BAND AT 1653 CM-1. ALSO, THE POLYPLEX FORMATION OF DENDRIMER/DNA WAS EXAMINED BY AGAROSE GEL RETARDATION ASSAY.CONCLUSION: DNA BINDING ASSAYS HAS CLEARLY SHOWN THAT THE NEW DENDRIMER IS COMPLETELY ABLE TO CONDENSE DNA AND MADE NANO SIZED POLYPLEXES. THIS RESULTS SHOW THE NEW DENDERIMER CAN BE USED AS SUITABLE VECTOR FOR GENE TRANSFER.
