The primary objective of this research was to investigate the consequences of national Championship sports. Given the specialized nature of the topic, a qualitative approach was adopted, utilizing in-depth interviews with relevant experts. Participants were selected from key stakeholder groups, including sports management professors, federation presidents, provincial sports and youth directors, and senior experts from the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Using purposeful and snowball sampling, 19 individuals were interviewed. The collected data were analyzed through grounded theory, employing three coding stages: open, axial, and selective coding. In the analysis: Causal conditions yielded six components (35 items) derived from sign coding. Contextual conditions comprised 99 general concepts, consolidated into eight final categories. Intervention conditions included six main components (53 items). Furthermore, seven strategic domains were identified to address the internal and external challenges of Championship sports in Iran: managerial, legal, human resources, facilities, economic, structural, and cultural-media. Finally, the outcomes of these strategies were categorized into four developmental areas—economic, national, behavioral, and structural—demonstrating significant alignment with the proposed strategies
