Abstract

The concept of SOCIAL CAPITAL includes the capital and the sources of the institutions, the relations and the norms that show the quantity and quality of social interactions in a society. Due to its nature and content, this concept can be used in theoretical analysis in different fields that the field of SOCIAL DEVIANCEs is one of them. Based on the complex nature of the SOCIAL DEVIANCEs, SOCIAL CAPITAL as a basic device has a high capability to determine and interpret the social problems such as SOCIAL DEVIANCEs. Concerning the reciprocal influences of the SOCIAL CAPITAL and the various problems of the society especially the SOCIAL DEVIANCEs and the method of their presence in the lives of the social actors, this study offers a definition of the SOCIAL CAPITAL and discusses the relationship between the SOCIAL DEVIANCEs and the SOCIAL CAPITAL regarding the research results.
