Abstract

The main objective of this research is to design a comprehensive model for enhancing financial managers’ skills within the framework of smart strategic management, a model that can lead to long-term improvement in the company’s share value and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Today’s companies, in the turbulent environment of financial markets and continuous technological developments, need to look beyond static calculations and traditional accounting approaches and must shape their financial strategies by relying on intelligent, data-driven, and forward-looking concepts. In this regard, the present research, focusing on developing the special skills of financial managers, tries to identify the structure and processes that, with the help of advanced technologies and data analysis, enable the formation of a systematic and competitive approach to financial and investment decisions. This research is qualitative and based on content analysis and was conducted through targeted interviews with senior financial managers, financial experts, and academic professors in the field of strategic management. The findings show that designing a skill model for financial managers in the field of smart strategic management, while creating convergence in the financial decision-making process and effective use of environmental information, can promote collaborative behavior in financial teams and define new motivational structures. In this way, companies will be able to increase their stock value in the long term and increase their competitive capabilities while gaining shareholder trust and improving the balance sheet.
