Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Therapy/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">Acceptance And Commitment-Based Therapy and Solution-Oriented Therapy on couples' Conflict Resolution styles. Methods: The research is semi-experimental, with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group with a 45-day follow-up phase. The statistical population of this research was the couples who referred to the Dispute Resolution Council of Omidiye city in 1400. 48 of the referring couples were determined in an accessible way, and finally they were replaced by a simple random method in 2 experimental groups (8 couples in the acceptance and commitment group and 8 couples in the Solution-Oriented group) and the control group (8 couples). The first experimental group underwent 8 sessions of treatment based on acceptance and commitment, and the second experimental group underwent 8 sessions of Solution-Oriented approach,But the people in the control group did not receive any intervention and remained on the waiting list. Benferroni post hoc test and SPSS 24 software were used to analyze the data. Results: The results of the repeated analysis of variance test showed that both interventions in the post-test and follow-up phase had a significant effect on improving Conflict Resolution styles compared to the control group (p<0. 05). In addition, the results of Bonferroni's post hoc test showed that Solution-Oriented Therapy was more effective in improving Conflict Resolution styles (p<0. 05). . Conclusion: Treatment based on acceptance and commitment and Solution-Oriented can be used as two effective approaches to reduce the problems caused by marital conflict.
