Abstract: 

Aim and Background: Therapists in the clinics and hospitals of difficult to treat patients have always been exposed to job burnout with Psychological consequences. The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective role of Psychological capital on job burnout, Psychological distress and psychosomatic symptoms in therapists of children with cancer. Methods and Materials: The present research is cross-sectional-correlation and its participants were 140 clinical and social therapists available in the pediatric oncology department of Isfahan hospitals. 132 people completed Questionnaires of Psychological capital, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS) and somatization symptoms. To data analyses, multivariate regression and covariance analysis were used. All analyses were done using SPSS-20 software and AMOS was used for Structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings: The results showed that Psychological capital has a significant and inverse direct effect on burnout, psychosomatic symptoms and Psychological distress. Also, a positive and significant direct relationship between burnout and psychosomatic and Psychological symptoms was obtained. The results of the non-parametric bootstrap method showed that the indirect effect of Psychological capital through job burnout on psychosomatic and Psychological distress is significant and this effect is stronger on psychosomatic symptoms. Conclusions: The findings of this study showed the protective role of positive Psychological abilities, which is conceptualized in the form of Psychological capital, including the components of hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism, on the adjustment of job burnout, Psychological distress, and psychosomatic complaints of therapists in oncology wards. This study proposes the development and implementation of a program to empower therapists in children's cancer treatment centers in the form of a plan to strengthen Psychological capital in order to overcome burnout and its Psychological consequences

Abstract: 

Education is a continually developing activity, it shapes the way an individual develops their attitudes, thoughts and behavior. Education is not just about being literate but it is an overall development of the person in every aspect of their lives. A society's educational system can be greatly linked to its culture as the culture that one is in have an affect on the type of curriculum the institutions will develop in order to cater to every individual of that particular culture. Education moulds and shapes a society and it is influenced by the culture of the particular country or society. The educational system acts as a point of reference for the society's needs and demands. The principles that dominate this article is culture and education are interrelated and interconnected. Every educational paradigm is influenced by the culture of the society in which it operates. This essay underlines the extensive connection between culture and education. As a result, the goal of this essay is to depict these features from a Philosophical-Psychological Approach.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Today Psychological capital is a new concept that discussed. The purpose of this research was role of Psychological capital in Psychological well-being by considering the moderating effects of social capital.Method: Research method was descriptive-correlative and 400 people (200 male and 200 female) based on Morgans Table and by using Cluster sampling be selected among them. To collect data by the Inventory capital Psychological (Luthans, 2007), scale Psychological Well-being (Ryff, 1989), Scale Social capital (Delaviz, 2005). Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, enter, step by step, Hierarchical regression and all the processes have been calculated by SPSS.16 software.Results: Results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between Psychological capital and its components with the Psychological well-being and social capital (P<0.01).Likewise, it was demonstrated that Psychological well-being have a significant positive correlation with social capital (P<0.01).Conclusions: Based on data people that have More favorable Psychological capital and better social capital, also have better and higher Psychological well-being.

Abstract: 

Background: Psychological capital is considered as the basis of sustainable competitive advantage in today’s organizations and can be developed and managed with minimal costs compared to tangible assets and can lead to significant results.Objectives: This quantitative research was carried out to determine the direct and indirect impact of Psychological capital on female’s organizational optimism with Psychological climate acting as the meditating variable.Methods: This study was a descriptive correlational research that included 45 females, who were employed at Farhangian University between the academic year of 2016 and 2017. A sample of 45 was determined using the census method. Data were collected using a standard questionnaires, including Psychological capital questionnaire, Psychological climate questionnaire, and organizational optimism questionnaire. The reliability of the instruments was measured using Cronbach’s alpha, combined reliability and factor load, and the validity of the instruments was determined using a convergent and divergent validity method. Cronbach’s alpha test obtained a value of 0.98, 0.96, and 0.93. The data were analyzed by the structural equation modeling and Smart PLS2 software.Results: The results indicated that the female’s organizational optimism had a mean value of 3.46 ± 0.75. Also, on average, the participants were 35±0.43 years old and had 25±0.38 years of work experience. Psychological capital and female’s organizational optimism are antecedents and consequences of Psychological climate among students, respectively, and Psychological climate has a significant mediating role on the relationship between Psychological capital and female’s organizational optimism; 53% of the total effect of female’s organizational optimism was indirectly explained by the Psychological climate (P<0.05).Conclusions: The findings suggest the need of implementing programs, which strengthen women’s Psychological capital in order to improve Psychological climate and achieve a greater organizational optimism.
