Abstract:

Objective: Most studies have focused only on the neuroticism superstructure and the reduction of its symptoms, while there is no comprehensive model on the treatment of neuroticism infrastructurally. This research aimed to develop an identity-based Psychodrama package and compare the effect of this therapy with Psychodrama on neuroticism. Methods: This research consists of five studies. The first study was qualitative research with Attride-Stirling’, s thematic analysis method. The research community in this stage for analyzing themes affecting identity achievement included all papers related to identity aspects. The second study was a qualitative content analysis based on an inductive approach through a semistructured interview with neurotic individuals. The third study was a quantitative analysis, and an educational-therapeutic package was developed. The fourth study was of validation type with Lawshe’, s method. The population in this stage included all specialized psychologists in identity issues. The last study was a quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest type with a control group and a follow-up period of 60 days. The population in this stage included all people referred to Pendar Nik Counseling Center in Najafabad City, Isfahan Province, Iran, in 2020. Finally, 60 people were selected and randomly assigned into 2 experimental groups and 1 control group. To collect data, the 5-factor inventory was used. Results: The first study’, s results suggested 8 general themes, and with additional information in the second study, the identity-based Psychodrama package was developed in the third study. The results of the fourth study indicated the validity of the package by the evaluators. The results of the previous study showed that the mean scores of neuroticism in the two experimental groups significantly differed from the control group scores. Besides, identitybased Psychodrama was more effective in reducing neuroticism than Psychodrama (P<0. 001). Conclusion: Compared with Psychodrama, the identity-based Psychodrama package is more effective in reducing neuroticism.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to assessing the effectiveness of Psychodrama on decreasing aggression of children. For this purpose, one school was selected randomly from schools in Babolsar and students were assessed by Nelson's aggression questionnaire. Twelve people who received high scores in an aggressive questionnaire were selected as the subjects and randomly they were divided into two groups control groups (n=6) and experimental (n=6). The scores obtained from the questionnaires were considered as pre-test scores. In the next stage, the experimental group participated in the 12 sessions of group training in the form of a weekly 1. 5 hour interventional psychotherapy treatment. This was while the control group did not receive any interventions. At the end of the intervention, both groups were subjected to post-test and after 2 months, both groups were followed up. Finally, the data were analyzed using one-way covariance analysis (ANCOVA). The results showed that psychological role has been effective in reducing overall aggression, failure, physical aggression, relationships with peers and relationships with authority authorities. Based on the findings, it is suggested that psychoanalytic treatments can be used as an effective intervention in reducing violence and aggression, so that the judicial authorities can use this treatment as the punishment of teenagers who are accused of anger and violence and aggression.

Abstract:

Introduction: Defense mechanisms play a very important role in the ability to cope with stress and adaptability of divorced women. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of mindful emotionfocused Psychodrama training, Psychodrama, and emotion-focused training on the defense mechanism of divorced women. Methods: This research was a semi-experimental study with the design of three experimental groups and one control group with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. The statistical population was divorced women in the spring of 2022 in Isfahan, Iran. From them, 64 divorced women were selected by purposive sampling method and randomly assigned to three experimental groups and a control group (15 people for each group). The defense mechanism questionnaire of Andrews et al (1993) was used to assess dependent variables in three stages. The three training groups were each trained for 12 sessions of 90 minutes and the control group did not receive any training. The data were analyzed by repeated measure analysis of variance and post-hoc Bonferroni test by SPSS version 26. Results: The finding of the research showed that three methods of mindful emotion-focused Psychodrama training, Psychodrama training, and emotion-focused training were effective in reducing immature and neurotic defense mechanisms (p<0. 01). In increasing the mature defense mechanisms, only Psychodrama training with the highest effectiveness and then emotion-focused training were effective (p<0. 01). Conclusions: Considering the equal effectiveness of mindful emotion-focused Psychodrama training, Psychodrama and emotion-focused training on reducing the neurotic and immature defense mechanisms, as well as Psychodrama training as the most effective method and then emotion-focused training on the promotion of mature defense mechanisms, it is suggested that these training be used for divorced women in counseling and psychotherapy centers.

Art therapy and specially Psychodrama which are a kind of psychotherapy can help to improvement of these problems. Conclusion: In Psychodrama therapist can apply the projective techniques such as warm-up, empty chair and confrontation for better involvement of clients. Applying these techniques can help to integration of “ego” which is destroyed. Psychodrama techniques can be applied individual or in peer group. The goal of these techniques is to increase the self-esteem, self-confidence and self-actualization in these clients. Abstract:

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Psychodrama therapy in relapse prevention and rumination. Method A semi-experimental research design along with pre-test/post-test and control group was employed for the conduct of this study. All the patients with drug abuse presenting to Tehran addiction treatment clinics constituted the statistical population of this study. The sample group consisted of 40 male patients who were selected from among the clients of addiction treatment clinics via convenience sampling method. The participants were then assigned to the control group and the experimental group (n = 20). Due to the sample loss in the post-test phase, the experimental group consisted of 16 and the control group included 18 participants. Relapse Prediction Scale and Rumination Questionnaire were administered to all the participants. Results Multivariate covariance analysis showed that Psychodrama intervention had a significant effect on relapse prevention and rumination. Conclusion According to the research findings, group Psychodrama therapy can be effective in relapse prevention and rumination.
