Abstract: 

Efficient distribution of service requests between fog and cloud nodes considering user mobility and fog nodes’ overload is an important issue of fog computing. This paper proposes a heuristic method for task Placement considering the mobility of users, aiming to serve a higher number of requested services and minimize their response time. This method introduces a formula to overload prediction based on the entry-exit ratio of users and the estimated time required to perform current requests that are waiting in the queue of a fog node. Then, it provides a solution to avoid the predicted overloading of fog nodes by sending all delay-tolerant requests in the overloaded fog node’s queue to the cloud to reduce the time required for servicing delay-sensitive requests and to increase their acceptance rate. In addition, to prevent requests from being rejected when the mobile user leaves the coverage area of the current fog node, the requests in the current fog node’s queue will be transferred to the destination fog node. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method is effective in avoiding the overloading of the fog nodes and outperforms the existing methods in terms of response time and acceptance rate.

Abstract: 

Background: Few studies have explored immediate implant Placement in the esthetic zone. Given the limited clinical data, this study aimed to this study aimed to compare anatomical and conventional immediate implantation techniques in the esthetic area in terms of implant position and angulation. Methods and Materials: This study included healthy adults who had at least one hopeless tooth in the anterior maxilla and were candidates for immediate implantation. A total of 24 consecutive patients were enrolled and then randomly divided into two equal groups and received dental implants using either conventional and anatomical implantation techniques. Intraoral scanners were used to evaluate the position and angulation of installed implants. Implant position and angulation were categorized as optimal/suboptimal, mesial/distal and buccal/lingual. These parameters were compared between the two groups using Chi-square and Fisher’s exact test. The tests were performed at a 5% error level and using SPSS version 27 software. Results: A total of 24 patients participated in this study. There were no statistically significant differences between the two methods in terms of implant position (mesiodistal: P = 0.414; buccolingual: P = 0.591) or angulation (mesiodistal: P = 0.230; buccolingual: P = 0.461). Conclusion: Immediate implant Placement using either the anatomical or conventional technique showed no significant differences in terms of implant position or angulation. Hence, the choice of method should be based on the patient's clinical findings and the clinician’s preference.

FOR ALL STATES OF A DISTRIBUTION FEEDER HAS BEEN DONE CAPACITOR Placement WITH AVAILABLE SOFTWARE AND BY ANALYZING THIS STATE HAS BEEN PRODUCED INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDING TO THE REACTIVE ENERGY OF THE WHOLE OF FEEDER. THIS INSTRUCTION WITH AVAILABLE INFORMATION IN DISTRIBUTION COMPANY HAS BEEN APPLIED SIMPLY. AT THE END, THREE PRACTICAL NETWORK PLACING CAPACITOR WITH SOFTWARE AND INSTRUCTION HAS BEEN OBSERVATING THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO METHODS IS LOW IN COMPARISION WITH SIMPLY AND PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Symptomatic superior mesenteric vein (SMV) occlusion/stenosis is uncommon. Known causes include pancreatitis, post-surgery, and malignancies such as pancreatic cancer and carcinoid mid-gut tumours. Open surgery is often challenging or impossible to perform due to tumour encasement and patient co-morbidities. The current literature regarding cases of interventional treatment of isolated SMV occlusion is limited. Case Presentation: A 79-year-old female with a background of small bowel neuroendocrine tumour presented with anaemia and large volume rectal bleeding. CT imaging performed on admission demonstrated a stable neuroendocrine mass completely surrounding the superior mesenteric artery with obliteration of the SMV. The middle colic vein branches were engorged with active bleeding. Urgent embolization was performed. However, there were multiple episodes of persistent bleeding. SMV stenting was performed under general anaesthesia. Using ultrasound guidance, a 6 French sheath was inserted into segment VI branch of the portal vein. Selective catheterization of the main portal vein was performed. Venography confirmed that there was complete occlusion of the SMV. A wire was inserted into the SMV up to the middle colic vein branches and passed the region of stenosis. Angiography confirmed venous congestion and dilated veins. Pre-angioplasty of the SMV was completed with a 4x100 balloon. A 10 x 100 stent was then deployed and post-dilated using an 8x60 balloon. Final venogram showed complete recanalization of the SMV with no evidence of distal venous congestion. The transhepatic tract was embolised with one 3-2 embolisation coil and gel-foam plugs. There were no further bleeding episodes. Data were collected following ethics requirements. Conclusions: SMV stenting was successful in relieving haemorrhage from engorged vessels formed by venous congestion. Our experience adds to the limited evidence that SMV stenting can be a viable and an effective intervention in the management of symptomatic SMV occlusion.

Abstract: 

The increasing use of Multi-Tier Application (MTA) in virtualized environments necessitates performance evaluation of such systems to achieve scalable and flexible services. However, providing appropriate performance for Virtualized Multi-Tier Applications (VMTA) that have complex architecture is much more difficult than traditional application architecture. In this paper, we propose a Placement strategy to settle virtual machines (VMs) of VMTAs in virtualized datacenters. First, VMs hosting tiers are ranked based on Cobb-Douglas production function. Then, VMTAs are prioritized based on resources utilization and performance metrics of hosts. Finally, VMTAs are placed regarding resource demands of tiers and their functional dependency. Results reveal that the proposed solution excels in terms of load balancing and energy consumption, while reduces Service Level Agreement (SLA) violation and VMs interference in the datacenter.

APPEARANCE OF DISTRIBUTED GENERATION IN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS IN ADDITION TO CHANGE IN OPERATION STAGES OF THESE SYSTEMS HAS PROVIDED THE ABILITY FOR THESE COMPANIES TO DESIGN SYSTEMS WITH LOWER COST. TO GAIN THIS GOAL, THE DESIGN OF DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS SHOULD BE REVISED. THIS PAPER PRESENTS A NEW METHOD TO OBTAIN THE NUMBER, LOCATION, CAPACITY AND SERVICING AREA OF EACH SUB-TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION THROUGH CANDIDATE AND AVAILABLE SUBSTATION LOCATIONS, CONSIDERING THE POSSIBILITY OF DG INSTALLATION ON ANY OF LOAD CENTERS, WHERE THE UNCERTAINTY OF FORECASTED LOAD OF EACH LOAD CENTER IS CONSIDERED AS A FUZZY MODEL. IN THIS PAPER A NEW METER Placement METHOD FOR STATE ESTIMATION PRESENTED. THE METHOD IS GATHER THE IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE STATE ESTIMATION PROBLEM THAT IS COST, OBSERVABILITY AND RELIABILITY. THE METHOD USE THE GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR OPTIMIZATION. THEN THE PROPOSED METHOD ARE TESTED FOR THE 14-BUS AND 30-BUS IEEE SAMPLE SYSTEM AND THE RESULT ARE DISCUSSED.
