Abstract: 

During the twentieth century of A.C. KHOUZESTAN the most strategic province if Iran, more than any other provinces of this country, has been exposed to separatism. Arab governments, Specially Iraq, have been the greatest planner and obstinate spporter of separation of this part of Iran. Being Arabs and particularly historical desire of the magority of this province inhabitance for separation has been the most important excuse and proof supporting this plan. This research tries to analysis the divergence and convergence degree of KHOUZESTAN Arabs with regard to the major constructing political core of country an national aspiration as well.

Abstract: 

During 2000-2002 a study on nematodes of 665 fish specimens from KHOUZESTAN province were carried out by set net and electro fishing. Fishes were collected from 3 stations in Hoor- Al- Azim, Hoor- shadegan and Karoon river.There were Aspius vorax (44 specimens), Barbus grypus (75 specimens), B. luteus (175 specimens), B. sharpeyi (94 specimens), B. pectoralis (8 specimens), B. esocinus (9 specimens), Liza abu (130 specimens), Cyprinion macrostomum (14 specimens), Cyprinus carpio (44 specimens) and Silurus triostegus (22 specimens). From 665 fishes 21% were infected by different parasitic worms collected parasites: Rhabdochona denudata, Rh. fortunatowi, Rhabdochona sp., Proleptinae gen. Cucullanus sp., Pseudocapillaria tomentosa, Philometra karunensis, Philometra sp., Anisakis sp.,Contracaecum sp. Rhabdochona fortunatowi is the first report in, B. pectoralis, B. luteus, B. grypus, S. triostegus and Cyprinion macrostomum of KHOUZESTAN province area.

Abstract: 

The aim of this paper is climatic classification of Khuzestan province. For this purpose, we first used eleven-variable relationships of humidity, temperature and precipitation in synoptic stations of the study area. Then we formed a matrix with the dimention of 13*11 applying Kriging method for convert matrix dimention (616*11) and also for principal component analysis and cluster analysis inputs. In this research the principal component analysis was used for understanding the component details and the cluster analysis was applied for the climatic classification. The results show that there are five climatic region and four components in Khuzestan province. Climatic variety conditions and regional settingsd indicate that this province is near the sea and dry regions of Iraq and Saudi Arabian countries that extensively expand toward the heights of Zagros Mountains.

Abstract: 

Background: Malignant melanoma is the leading cause of death among skin cancers in western countries. However, the incidence, histologic subtypes, and tumor behaviors are quite different in Asians and western populations. Objective: This study was designed to survey the clinicopathological aspects of malignant melanoma among KHOUZESTAN people. Patients & Methods: In a retrospective study 62 patients (28 women, mean age 53.80± 14.1, and 34 men, mean age 55.9±15.8) were diagnosed as melanoma in KHOUZESTAN province, south-west of Iran during 19902000. The analyzed data included sex, age at diagnosis, location and histologic subtypes. Results: Malignant melanoma was found to be more common in men than women, in the approximate ratio of 5 to 4. From 62 cases of malignant melanoma, 59.67% were cutaneous, 19.35% metastatic in lymph nodes, 11.29% ocular, 4.83% gastrointestinal tract, 3.22% mucosal, and 1.61% inner ear and mastoid. The majority of cases were unclassified malignant melanoma (30.64%), followed by nodular melanoma (27.41 %), matastatic malignant melanoma (24.19%), acral lentiginous melanoma (12.9%), and lentigo maligna melanoma (4.84%), respectively. Conclusion: Althogh malignant melanoma is a rare tumor in KHOUZESTAN, further studied are necessary to analyse present and future trends of melanoma, accurately. Ongoing and new prevention and control strategies may be mandatory to curtail the melanoma outbreak.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to offer strategies to develop brand for Foolad KHOUZESTAN football club. The population consisted of all senior managers of this club (N=15). Due to the limited number of population, all of them were considered as the sample and the census sampling method was applied. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect the data. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 10 sport management professors and using Cronbach's alpha, the reliability was determined to be 0. 85. The Friedman and Binomial tests were used to analyze the data. The questionnaire consisted of 53 items of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of brand in Foolad KHOUZESTAN football club. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats were analyzed, evaluation matrix of internal and external factors of brand in Foolad KHOUZESTAN football club was created and it was determined that the brand of Foolad KHOUZESTAN football club was in SO position; this is the best position for an organization and it should use growth and development strategy.

Abstract: 

The reproductive activity is influenced by environmental conditions in most animal species. The aim of the present study was to determine the seasonal changes of seminiferous tubules structure and spermatogenic activity in KHOUZESTAN Arabian rams. For this propose 30 adult rams were reared under closed grazing conditions. Four rams were randomly selected in each season and their live weight, testicular weight and diameters were measured and recorded. Furthermore, their blood sera were collected for measuring testosterone by radioimmunoassay. For microscopic studies, the 5-6fl sections were made and stained with Haematoxylin - Eosin. Results showed that testicular weight and diameter were significantly changed by season (p<0.05) and the minimum values were seen in the beginning of summer. While spermatognic activity was present in all seasons, structural changes were seen in seminiferous epithelium. The seminiferous tubule diameter and germinal epithelium height showed a gradual increase during different seasons during summer and autumn and the maximum values were seen in the beginning of winter. The maximum plasma testosterone was seen in the beginning of winter and significant decrease shown during spring (p<0.05). Seminiferous tubule diameter showed significant correlation with testicular diameter and testosterone levels. It can be concluded that spermatogenic activity of seminiferous tubules in adult KHOUZESTAN Arabian rams are highly affected by season.

TODAY, ENERGY PLAYS A PARTICULAR ROLE IN WORLD'S ECONOMY AND POLITICS. AS FOSSIL FUELS CAUSED MAJOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, ENERGY WILL BE THE KEY ELEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT IN FUTURE CENTURIES. IT IS CLEAR THAT ALL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD CAN NO LONGER BE RELIED ON TRADITIONAL AND LIMITED ENERGY SOURCES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. SO, APPLYING RENEWABLE ENERGIES AS A CLEAN ENERGY SEEMS NECESSARY. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO INTRODUCE SOME OF THE RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES' APPLICATION IN A COLLECTION CALLED ENERGY FARM. A FARM IN DEZFOUL IN KHUZESTAN PROVINCE, LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST OF IRAN, WAS SELECTED AS THE CASE STUDY AND THE USE OF SOLAR, WIND, BIOGAS AND FUEL CELLS ENERGIES WAS EVALUATED AND THE ENERGY BALANCE ANALYSIS WAS CONDUCTED IN THERE. ACCORDING TO CALCULATIONS IN DESIGNED ENERGY FARM, 12260 LITERS OF ETHANOL WILL BE PRODUCED IN THE BIOGAS SYSTEM IN EVERY CULTIVATING SEASON. WIND TURBINE PRODUCES ABOUT 13.6 KW POWER WHICH IS USED IN THE ELECTROLYSIS PROCESS. MOREOVER, THE FUEL CELL SYSTEM PRODUCES 5425 AND 102 KWH FROM BIOLOGICAL AND ELECTRICAL HYDROGEN SOURCES, RESPECTIVELY. THE ENERGY WHICH IS PRODUCED FROM THE BIOLOGICAL HYDROGEN SOURCE OF THE FUEL CELL SYSTEM IS PRODUCED BY ALL CLOVER SYMBIOTIC MICROORGANISMS.

Abstract: 

The Aghajari formation alternates sandstone, marl, and siltstones with gypsum veins. The formation is a wide outcrop in the southern and southwestern parts of Iran, and dates from the Miocene to Pliocene. However, very little information is available on the nature of the genesis of this formation. In this study, petrographical properties and major element geochemistry of sandstones from the formation in Khuzestan province were performed to identify the provenance and tectonic setting of these rocks. Petrographic examinations of 29 sandstone samples revealed that these sandstones are calclithites and volcarenites. Five of the studied rocks samples are grain-supported. One sample has gypsum cement, and the others have calcite cement. Moreover, discriminant plots showed that the provenance of the sandstones is sedimentary quartz that is derived from recycled orogeny. The major element geochemistry analysis demonstrated that the chemical compositions of the rocks are litharenite, ferrous sandstones, as well as greywacke. Moreover, projecting the major element geochemistry data on tectonic setting discrimination plots indicated that the sandstones had been deposited in an active continental margin.
