Abstract:

Some of the military terms are related to ARCHERY. Many of these terms have disappeared from dictionaries but in the treatises related to ARCHERY, you can get information about them. In some Persian texts, these terms (such as عقده، زنده، مرده چلیپا، زیردست، دستکش) are placed next to other famous terms (such as تیر، کمان، ناوک پیکان) that form equivocal appropriateness and they increase the rhetorical value of the texts. In this essay has been attempted to introduce some of these terms and investigated their rhetorical function in the poetry of Persian literature poets. For this purpose, various equivocal appropriateness have been introduced and military terms in Persian texts have been divided into regular categories. In the main part of the essay, examples of equivocal appropriateness based on ARCHERY terms are presented. Keywords: Equivocal appropriateness, Military terms, ARCHERY.  Multiple meaning and equivocal appropriateness is a rhetorical devices that depends on the mind of the reader, the greater the reader's vocabulary, the more multiple meanings he will discover. He will notice that in the poetry of some poets, the words are connected with each other and in a network of proportions and this makes the reader will enjoy the text more. Equivocal appropriateness can be divided semantically such as Astronomy, medicine, Philosophy, logic …. Some of these equivocal appropriateness are based on military terms. Military terms are divided into several categories: 1) weapons of war such as arrow, bow, mace, and ax … 2) Warning and notification tools such as drum, Trumpet … 3) Terms related to stratagem 4) Terms related to military ranks such as colonel, soldier, 5) Terms related to horses. Some of the military terms are related to ARCHERY. Many of these terms have disappeared from dictionaries but in the treatises related to ARCHERY, you can get information about them. In some Persian texts, these terms are placed next to other famous term that form equivocal appropriateness and they increase the rhetorical value of the texts. Therefore, by reading this article, the reader can find out that words and terms are used in literary texts that sometimes cannot be recognized due to the time gap. Some of these terms are not recorded in dictionaries. And this makes it more difficult for readers to find them. The treatises written in the past about different branches of science are a good source for discovering these terms. Some of these terms have been used by poets with Equivocal appropriateness’s.  Their discovery will increase the rhetorical aspects of the texts. Some of these terms are related to shooting and ARCHERY, which poets have used in different waysFrom this article, it can be concluded that in the treatises on shooting and ARCHERY terms are used that have often disappeared from the dictionaries, such as In some verses, these terms are placed next to other famous terms in the field of shooting. Due to readers' unfamiliarity with these terms, these analogies are often not mentioned. In this research, in addition to introducing these terms, their rhetorical function in the poems of Persian poets has also been discussed.

Abstract:

INTRODUCTION: HIDDEN MOTOR LEARNING REFERS TO THE PROCESS THROUGH WHICH PEOPLE WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN IMPLEMENT SKILLS ARE EXPERT. AMONG THE HIDDEN LEARNING, WHAT IN THE AREAS OF MOTOR AND NEUROLOGICAL HAS ATTRACTED MUCH ATTENTION IS GUIDANCE WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS TO LEARNER BY REDUCING ERRORS. RECENTLY MUCH ATTENTION TO THIS TYPE OF LEARNING IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE RESEARCH, RESEARCHERS NEURAL COORDINATION AS A MEASURE OF HIDDEN MOTOR LEARNING AND ORIENTATION FOR CONSCIOUSLY CONTROL THEIR MOVEMENT AND COMPARE ERRORLESS AND ERRORFULL GROUPS FOUND THAT THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO GROUPS (1). THIS STUDY HAS DONE WITH AIMED TO COMPARE THE EFFECT OF ERRORLEES AND THE ERRORFULL LEARNING IN ARCHERY SKILLS.METHODOLOGY: STUDY PARTICIPANTS WERE 80 FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADE MALE AND FEMALE STUDENTS WHO VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATED IN THIS STUDY. BECAUSE OF RISK OF SHOOTINGS IN SCHOOL, A RESEARCHER WITH NOTIFICATION TO PARENTS, TRAINING AT THE CLUB DID. STUDENTS LEARN THE 12 SESSIONS IN BOTH GROUPS WERE RANDOMLY DIVIDED INTO ERRORLESS AND ERRORFULL. IN ERRORFULL GROUP SUBJECTS HAD SHOOTING TO SMALLER TARGETS THAN THE STANDARD AND IN ERRORLESS GROUP WAS CONVERSELY.RESULTS: THE RESULTS OF ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE (2 ´2) TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF THE TEST (PRE-TEST AND ACQUISITION) IN THE TWO GROUPS SHOWED NO SIGNIFICANT INTERACTION WITH THE TEST. AS WELL AS MAIN EFFECT OF EXERCISE GROUPS AND MAIN EFFECT OF THE TEST WERE SIGNIFICANT (P<0.01). MOREOVER, INDEPENDENT T-TEST RESULTS SHOWED ERRORFULL GROUP ARE HIGHER AVERAGE THAN THE ERRORLESS GROUP HAVE ACQUIRED IN THE RETENTION TEST (P<0.01). THE RESULTS OF THE INDEPENDENT T-TEST SHOWED BETTER TRANSMISSION OF ERRORFULL SITUATION THAN THE ERRORLESS (P<0.01).DISCUSSION: THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY SHOWED THAT THE ERRORFULL GROUP IN RETENTION AND TRANSFER TESTS BETTER PERFORMANCE, BUT THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN ACQUISITION TESTS. IN GENERAL, ACCORDING TO THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY CAN BE CONCLUDED THAT ERRORFULL LEARNING NOT ONLY FOR THE PERFORMANCE AND LEARNING IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN ERRORLESS LEARNING, BUT ALSO LEADS TO MORE MOTOR ECONOMY. THE DATA CONFIRMED THAT THE COGNITION FOR EFFORTS WITH INCREASE OF ERROR IS WIDER THAN EFFORTS WITH REDUCE OF ERROR AND THEREFORE A BETTER LEARNING OCCURS.

Abstract:

The present study investigated Neurofeedback training impact on electroencephalographic characteristics and performance in ARCHERY.45 non-athlete undergraduate students were randomly assigned to three groups including real Neurofeedback (neurofeedback training based on their brainwave activities), sham Neurofeedback (feedbacks weren' t based on their brainwave activities) and control (without receiving neurofeedback).20 experiment sessions included 10 minutes training in alpha up-training and 20 minutes alpha-theta protocol. Before starting and after the experiment, all subjects participated in a pre and post-assessment session (ARCHERY records and electroencephalographic variables). Each subject received a total of 20 training sessions (ARCHERY and neurofeedback). One-way ANCOVA showed significant differences between real group and sham and control group (p<0.05). There were not significant differences in records between sham and control group. MANCOVA analysis indicated a significant increase in alpha activity just for group1 located at left temporal site (p<0.05).The finding suggested that neurofeedback training can change ARCHERY records and electroencephalographic characteristics in ARCHERY.

Abstract:

Introduction: Visual skills are one of the main pillars of intangible faculties of athletes that can influence their performance. Great number of vision tests used to assess the visual skills and it will be irrational to perform all vision tests for every sport. Objectives: The purpose of this protocol article is to present a relatively comprehensive battery of tests and assessments on static and dynamic aspects of sight which seems relevant to sports vision and introduce the most useful ones for ARCHERY.Materials and Methods: Through extensive review of the literature, visual skills and respective tests were listed; such as ‘visual acuity, ‘contrast sensitivity’, ‘stereo-acuity’, ‘ocular alignment’, and ‘eye dominance’. Athletes were defined as "elite" and "non-elite" category based on their past performance. Dominance was considered for eye and hand; binocular or monocular aiming was planned to be recorded. Illumination condition was defined as to simulate the real ARCHERY condition to the extent possible. The full cycle of examinations and their order for each athlete was sketched (and estimated to take 40 minutes). Protocol was piloted in an eye hospital. Female and male archers aged 18 - 38 years who practiced compound and recurve ARCHERY with a history of more than 6 months were included. Conclusions: We managed to select and design a customized examination protocol for ARCHERY (a sight-intensive and aiming type of sports), serving skill assessment and research purposes. Our definition for elite and non-elite athletes can help to define sports talent and devise skill development methods as we compare the performance of these two groups. In our pilot, we identified 8 "ARCHERY figures" (by hand dominance, eye dominance and binocularity) and highlighted the concept "congruence" (dominant hand and eye in the same side) in ARCHERY performance.

Abstract:

Introduction: The Purpose of the current study was to examine the effect of a progressive relaxation training period on muscle efficiency and performance of ARCHERY athletes. ‎Methods: In this semi-experimental study, which was conducted with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group, 40 male ARCHERY athletes were randomly selected and placed in two groups of relaxation and control exercises. In the pre-test stage, the participants made 9 ARCHERY throws, during which the electrical activity was recorded using an electromyography device. According to the method proposed in the methodology of the research, the training phase of progressive relaxation was done in six weeks and three sessions each week and each session lasted 30 minutes. After the training phase, the post-test phase was conducted, where the participants performed 9 ARCHERY throws, as in the pre-test phase, during which the electrical activity was recorded using an electromyography device. The data was analyzed by univariate covariance analysis.‎Results: The results indicated that progressive relaxation intervention on performance (P<0.05), the electrical activity of biceps muscle (P<0.05) and triceps muscle electrical activity (P<0.05) has a significant effect.‎Conclusion: In general, the results of the present study emphasize the importance of a progressive relaxation program on muscle efficiency and ARCHERY performance.

Abstract:

Shooting with an Iranian national and religious sport bat, with an ancient history, is a requirement for this sport to be safe and observant. The study is to compare the safety and standard of shooting places of ARCHERY in Tehran with international standards. This descriptive study is applicable. The statistical population was all shooting places of ARCHERY in Tehran. Due to the small size of the statistical population, 16 samples were examined in total. The evaluation was carried out by a researcher-made checklist, prepared in accordance with the rules and standards of the relevant international federation. In this checklist, 27 indicators were evaluated. The validity of the checklist was confirmed by the professors and its reliability was above 0/9. Data collection lasted one month, which was suitable for this study. Data analysis was done by SPSS software and Friedman test. The theoretical mean of this research was evaluated by 3 and 27 indicators of identification. The results of this study showed that among these 27 indicators, 19 are below the theoretical average and in a weak or very weak position, and 8 indicators are above the theoretical average and in a good or very good position. Also, sports venues in shooting places of Tehran is in a poor condition and far from the World ARCHERY and JBRC Governorates. It is hoped that the checklist will be used to evaluate and standardize the sports venues of this field.

Abstract:

INTRODUCTION: ONE OF THE MOST COMPETITIVE AND THE MOST ENJOYABLE SPORTS IS ARCHERY HOWEVER IT IS ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH INJURY (1). IN THIS REGARD, THE PREVALENCE OF SPORTS INJURIES IN ORDER TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE AND THE HEALTH OF ATHLETES IS ALWAYS MENTIONED BY SPECIALISTS (2), THEREFORE THE AIM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO INVESTIGATE THE PREVALENCE OF SPORTS INJURIES IN ARCHERS OF IRAN.METHODS: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY USING RETROSPECTIVE METHOD AND SELF-MADE QUESTIONNAIRE WAS USED TO RECORD ARCHERY INJURIES THAT ITS VALIDITY WAS CONFIRMED BY SPECIALISTS.60 ARCHERS WERE EXAMINED IN THIS STUDY. AFTER COLLECTING DATA, DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS AND CHI-SQUARE TEST (X2) WAS USED FOR ANALYSIS.RESULTS: THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT ARCHER 60 PARTICIPANTS, 31 OF WHOM WERE INJURED (6.51 PERCENT). SHOULDER INJURY THAT PULLS STRING AND THE SHOULDER INJURY THAT HOLDS BOW, (RESPECTIVELY 30.8 AND 23.1 PERCENT) HAD THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF INJURIES (P=0.001, X2=38.73).CONCLUSION: THIS SHOWS MOST INJURIES IN ARCHERS HAPPEN IN SHOULDER AND THAT THE UPPER LIMBS ARE EXPOSED MORE TO INJURIES IN THE ARCHERY. ALSO EDUCATION PROGRAMS SHOULD FOCUS ON PROPER ARCHERY STANCE, TRAINING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON FOR STRETCHING AND PREVENTIVE PROGRAMS [SPECIALLY THE UPPER LIMBS] (3). IT’S SUGGESTED THAT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INJURY-PREVENTION MEASURES BE EXAMINED.
