Abstract: 

Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. Among all glaucoma types, primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) affects approximately 23 million people worldwide, and is responsible for 50% of glaucoma-related blindness, highlighting the devastating consequences of this disease. The main mechanism of PACG is relative pupillary block. High-risk populations are female gender, Asian ethnicity, high hyperopia, short axial length, and a thick/anteriorly positioned lens. This review discusses the clinical diagnosis, classification, and management of patients with a narrow angle with and without intraocular pressure (IOP) elevation and glaucomatous optic nerve damage, including laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), endocycloplasty (ECPL), lens extraction, and goniosynechialysis.

Abstract: 

We extend Jordan's notion of principal ANGLES to work for two subspaces of quaternionic space, and so have a method to analyze two orthogonal projections in the matrices over the real, complex or quaternionic field (or skew field). From this we derive an algorithm to turn almost commuting projections into commuting projections that minimizes the sum of the displacements of the two projections. We quickly prove what we need using the universal real C*-algebra generated by two projections.

Abstract: 

Trisection of an angle is one of the famous problems in the history of mathematics. The impossibility of trisecting an angle with a straightedge and compasses was known. Therefore finding an accurate approximation of irrational quantity of the Sine of degree- which was important for setting up sine tables in Zijes, and also for astronomical calculations- is very difficult. So, many scientists devoted their attempts to find a solution to this problem. Mirza Abu Torab Natanzi, a scholar of the Qajarid era, in a Persian treatise entitled Dar ma‘rifat-i watar-i thulth-i qaws-i ma‘lumat al-watar (on the knowledge of the chord of one-third of an arc with a known chord), presented a geometrical method for trisecting an angle which turns out to be mathematically equivalent to the algebraic method of Jamshid Kashani (al-Kashi) for finding the Sine of one degree. Surveying different approximate methods of trisecting an angle in ancient Greek and Islamic periods, this paper presents a critical edition and a commentary of Mirza Abu Torab’s treatise.

Abstract: 

In this paper we present a method for improving Blind Source Separation and decreasing of Musical noise. In proposed method we separate the signals in multiple stage with using ICA algorithm and continuous masks which are calculated by sources ANGLES. In simulation section with different examples we demonstrate declining of noise and enhancement of quality of separated signals. In this paper the Hard_DESPRIT is used as a reference.

Abstract: 

In the middle of the Safawi period, there appeared novelties in philosophical idea, Persian poetry and natural- mathematical knowledge. A decisive moment in the development came when Mulla Sadea of Shiraz created a philosophical world-view of an immense dimension, by incorporating and integrating all the cultural key-concepts into his own thought. It was he who for the first time firmly established the self-subsistent theosophic system we now know as AI-Hikmat al-Motaaliyah, constructing it as a perfect unity of tradition and mysticism and scholasticism. So the formal structure of the AI-Hikmat al-Motaalyah has been analyzed from three ANGLES.

Abstract: 

The anisotropic and mechanical properties of newsprint paper made in Iran were studied in this research. Tear and tensile strengths, modulus of elasticity and breaking length of newsprint were determined at different ANGLES to machine direction (MD) and at an interval angle of 15o (15, 30, 45, 60, 75) and cross machine direction (CD). The results show that modulus of elasticity, tensile strengths and breaking length of newsprint paper are the highest in machine direction, decreasing with increase of angle and reach the lowest (half) in cross machine direction. There is no significant difference between mentioned properties from 60o to CD. Tear strength of newsprint paper was the lowest values in machine direction, increasing with increase of angle and reach highest (half) at of and then decreases up to CD.

Abstract: 

This study has mainly focused on derivation of aerodynamic data for an airship in particular conditions especially at high ANGLES of attack. When such data are inserted into a flight simulator as a closed loop, it is vital to make use of special computational means and methods, so that the ability to send and receive flight conditions would be achieved through an “ in-the-loop” manner. Therefore, using an open source environment such as OpenFOAM is suggested in this regard. Through this study, the aerodynamic coefficients of the airship are calculated by three different CFD approaches and empirical data collected from wind-tunnel tests while geometrical parameters were set for ANGLES of attack between-10 to 20 degrees. In order to achieve aerodynamic goals, air simulation is of great importance. So, the aerodynamic results are compared based on the three methods of calculating fluid "computing" in the loop, the wind tunnel test and the analytical method of the geometric parameters of the ship's aircraft. In this study, the stability of the aircraft, the longitudinal and lateral aspects of the aircraft is examined. Also, by examining the ratio of the coefficients of the lift to the drag, based on the angle of attack, the angle of attack that the aircraft has the best performance is determined.
