Abstract: 

In this study zoning for management plan of Dorfak Non-Hunting Area (37899 ha. North of Iran) has been implemented. First ecological and socio-economic resources were surveyed and mapped (scale 1:25000). Then data analysis and integration using Arc info workstation (ver.9) and arc view GIS (Ver.3.3) with system analysis approach were performed. As a result 8817 micro-ecosystem were mapped. Ecological capability of Mapping Unit (MU) was evaluated for: restricted nature reserve, protected, area, extensive use, intensive use, recovery, and Special use, culture-historical and domestic zones, with the aid of specified ecological park management model. Finally with coordination of socio-economic data and ecological capability of MU, priority, ranking and arrangements of zones were mapped. The results show that %23.6 of allocated zones is suitable for restricted nature reserve zone, %.5 for conditional strict nature reserve, %45.2 for protected area zone, %.3 for protected and historical zone, %8.7 for protected and recovery zone, %5 for recovery zone, %.04 for Intensive use zone, %8.8 for Extensive use zone, %0.11 for domestic use zone, %0.38 for culture-historical zone and %5.69 for buffer zone (with protected area & rehabilitation zones).

Abstract: 

Up to now, there is no habitat suitability index model for Common Otter in Iran. This species is an index species for clean ecosystems and consequently, an important animal. Model prepared, considering dependent variables to show vital needs for this animal in the Shenrood River located in the Deylaman-Dorfak prohibited hunting area in Iran. HEP method was applied and important factors were selected used to reach habitat suitability index. It consisted of physical characteristics of the river such as mean of depth, mean of width, vegetation cover and distance to them. The model was built by mean of geometrical method using six variables. Model was applied on four sites, resulted 0.88, 0.79, 0.73 and 0.59 for respectively. First and second sites have got higher suitability score, which was similar to our observations in the field.

Abstract: 

Floristic studies of a region have many advantages, since the floristic list is a useful identity document which provides the genetic potentials of the area. The area of Hanna no-hunting zone is 20452 ha and is located at the southern part of Isfahan province. In this study the floristic list of the region is presented and their life forms and endangered species are stated. Field data collections were conducted during the years 2007 through 2008. First the studied area boundaries were exposed on a topographic map with a scale of 1:25000. Then, the plant species of the region were collected and identified according to the floras. According to the presented list, there were 307 species belonging to 209 genuses which are classified in 51 families. The Asteraceae has the highest species diversity in the region with 33 genus and 52 species. According to Raunkiaer’s life form criteria, the identified species are categorized as: hemicryptophytes 50.5%, therophytes 23.1%, chamephytes 11.4%, phanerophytes (6.8%) and geophytes (8.1%). The high percent occurrence of the perennial species confirms the plant species adaptations to the climatic and edaphic conditions of the region. In the Hanna region, 76 medicinal and industrial species were listed belonging to 67 genera and 29 families. The Asteraceae and Lamiaceae families had 12 and 13 species of the medicinal plant species accordingly and they had the most species diversities in this category among the other families. There were 9 vulnerable species, 28 lower risk and 4 data deficient species in the studied region.

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Considering the fast-growing destruction of natural resources and the existing threats to bio-diversification the necessity of investigating and elevating the conservation level of such areas has become a challenge. The forenamed research with purpose of Alvand No-Hunting Area of zoning, for the sake of access to conservation optimum pattern and development was performed. Method: Using system analysis led to the creation 1434 was environmental unit which the Ecological Capability Evaluation of each unit respect to the appropriateness zoning were identified in the area. Finally, with Prioritization and zones Organizing, zoning map serve as sample planning was prepared. Findings: The results suggest that in the study area, zone 2(%62/33) was the first priority, respectively, zone 11 (%22/20), zone 6 (%8/22), zone 3-4 (%7/01) and zone 5 (%0/20) were the next priorities. Discussion and Conclusion: due to the high percentage of protected zones of Alvand region (%62/33), and also due to the corridor between the two protected areas and gorge of worthful Ovis orientalis species benefits the high conservation value respectively.

Abstract: 

بیش از بیست سال است که روش شناسایی موجوداتی مانند شنگ معمولی از طریق مشاهده آثار و شواهد به جا مانده از آن ها می باشد و این روش به روش استاندارد معروف است. روش استاندارد یک نوع روش مطالعه سیستماتیک نمونه برداری است که 1 با استفاده از نقشه های 25000/ شواهد به جا مانده از موجودات مانند سرگین، ردپا و ... انجام می گیرد. در مطالعه حاضر طبق این روش، 4 ایستگاه در بخشی از رودخانه شنرود به عنوان بزرگ ترین رودخانه در منطقه شکار ممنوع دیلمان - درفک به فاصله 7 کیلومتر از یکدیگر و گستره جستجوی 600 متر (300 متر به طرف بالا دست رودخانه یعنی به طرف جنوب و 300 متر به طرف پایین دست رودخانه یعنی به طرف شمال) از نقطه شروع که معمولاً پل می باشد، انتخاب و مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نقاط یافت آثار شنگ به عنوان نشانه حضور حیوان به صورت نقاط توپر برروی نقشه 25000/1 شبکه بندی شده با اندازه 4/1×4/1 سانتی متر مربع مشخص گردیده شده است. براین اساس بیشترین آثار و شواهد مشاهده شده در منطقه مورد مطالعه در ایستگاه شماره 2 بوده است و بر طبق نقشه انتشار به دست آمده از مطالعه شنگ با روش استاندارد کلیه ایستگاه های مورد مطالعه از نظر حضور شنگ مثبت بوده اند و در همه این ایستگاه ها آثار شنگ مشاهده گردید. بیشترین اثر دیده شده سرگین و کپه نشانه بوده است که جزو مطمئن ترین آثار به جای مانده از این حیوان به شمار می رود، چنین به نظر می رسد که گستره جستجوی 600 متری طبق روش استاندارد برای این منطقه مطلوب بوده است.

Abstract: 

The study is concerned with the floristic investigation of Sarband prohibited area (Dibaj). The region with an area of approximately 4000 hectares is located in 12 km northeast of Dibaj (52 km north of Damghan, Semnan Province) ranging from 2000-3650 m. Sarband area with an average annual precipitation of 137.5 mm a dry climate based on Domarten’s climate classification. A total of 285 species belonging to 178 genera and 45 families were identified. The richest families species were Asteraceae (22 genara, 40 species), Brassicaceae (25 genera, 32 species) and Poaceae (16 genera, 26 species), respectively. Also, the genus Astragalus with 12 species, Allium with 7 species, Cousinia and Alyssum each with 6 species and Gagea with 5 species, are the largest genera in the region. Phytogeographical distribution of plant species showed that 60.52% of species belong to the Irano-Turanian region, followed by Irano-Turanian/Europe-Siberia: 20.67% and etc. Hemicryptophytes (54.76% of all species) were the most common life form in the region.36 Iranian endemic species and 44 medicinal plant species were recognized in the region. Moreover, 33 plant species were listed as threatened species, of which, four species including Cousinia rahbdodes, Astragalus catacamptus, A. megalocystis and A. perdurans were categorized as vulnerable species based on the criteria of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Abstract: 

Meighan Wetland Forbidden Hunting Region of Arak is located at center of Iran in the birds’ migratory flyway. In the cold season, thousands of the migratory birds settle this region featuring of the desired habitat conditions annually, especially, common crane. To view are the birds fauna 4 stations with diverse habitat conditions ranging from Waterfowl, The aquatic, playa and desert shrubs. They Were selected as the location for viewing. Bird watching was performed during the season from spring of 1392 until winter of 1394. In order to, collect the data was used directly observed and counted birds. During the study were identified bird species 150 from orders13 and families 38. As if of these was observed respectively species 77 of Waterfowl, The aquatic and Terrestrial 73. The number of observed species were endemic species 60, species 90 of migratory and semi-immigrant and immigrant passing. Order passeriformes with the largest number of families(families12) and with the largest number of species (species 41) were identified most diverse orders in the region. In the area, the species of Aquila nipalensis, Oxyura leucocephala and Falco cherrug are endangered in the category.

Abstract: 

The hunting-prohibited area of Dorodzan dam is located at Fars province (Iran). The area is about 30, 000 hectares and its vascular flora has been studied during 2011– 12. In the present study, a total of 1876 plant specimens were collected and 529 taxa, belonging to 345 genera and 76 families were identified. The life form rates of the taxa are as follows: therophytes (40. 6%), hemicryptophytes (30. 92%), cryptophytes (13. 47%), chamaephytes (8. 91%), and phanerophytes (6. 07%), respectively. Large families in terms of number of genera and species are Asteraceae (76 species), Fabaceae (48 species), Poaceae (45 species), Lamiaceae (38 species), Brassicaceae (27 species), Apiaceae (24 species), Caryophyllaceae (21 species), and Boraginaceae (17 species). The richest genera are Astragalus (21 species) Cousinia, Centaurea, Euphorbia, Scorzonera, and Silene (seven species each), Allium, Cyperus, and Nepeta (six species each). Among biogeographical regions, the main phytogeographical affinity of the species, was Irano-Turanian (55. 59%). In addition, 80 taxa (15. 12%) were considered as endemic to Iran.
