Yusuf al-Khal is considered one of the pioneers of free verse. Innovation is manifested in different parts of his poetic language. The employment of symbols and myth have influenced his poetic language and created pictures which extracted from these symbols and paved the way of innovation in different elements of his poetic language. This article aims to address characteristics of the poetic language for Yusuf al-Khal based on descriptive and analytical approach. One of the most important anthologies in this field is al-bi'r al-Mahjoor (the abandoned well) the name of one of his books (Divans) which is distinguished by use of symbols and myth therefor all elements of his poems are under the influence of this approach. The poet repeats some words and idioms in his poems and uses the first person pronouns as well as present verbs in order to deepen and emphasize on the considered meanings. Studying the semantics of this book, we can find the relations between its vocabulary and the overall picture of his poems. The poet uses figurative irony to develop his poetic language and deepen his main theme. Semantic de familiarization is a lot in his poems because the use of myth results in more metaphors and simile creation Synesthesia in abstracts in Yusuf al-Khal's poem. And distinct property of his poetic language is the existence of poetic form of myth. This application created distinct form and gave holistic form to his poems.

Comparative literature consists of a set of methods and approaches, one of which is image of the “ Other” . The image of the “ Other” has attracted the attention of many contemporary scholars. They study the image from various angles, including reading the image of a nation, a religious sect, an alien personality in another nation's literature, as well as the image of a person, a sect, or an insider's group of the poet's community, such as The image of the ISIL that was negative in the literature of many Arab writers after 2012. Being next to the negative "other" afflicts "I" because it imposes its power and suppresses the freedom of "I" in life; in other words, freedom of the "other" is at the expense of my "freedom". This research attempts to examine the image of the "other" in Fadhil Al Azzawi’ s poetry and, on the basis of a descriptive-analytical method, seeks to answer this question: What is the images of foreign “ other” and the Arab seen in t Fadhil Al Azzawi’ s poetry? The research findings show that the reading of "other" is not only related to the approaches of literary criticism, such as structuralism, etc, but also to other branches of the humanities, such as history and sociology. The image that the poet portrays from the "other" first comes from his needs, then the needs of the Iraqi and Arab societies.

Many critics and researchers believe that Andelos poem is the continuation of Arabic poem in the East. This viewpoint comes from this matter that the East was the aspiration of the people in Andelos and they searched their ideal poem in Arabic East and considered the eastern poem a model for the form and the contents of their poems.Therefore, poetical intentions in Andelos poem are the same poetical intentions in the East, i.e. eulogy and elegy, lyric poem and glory, lyric poem and satire. As the contents of their poems were imitation of eastern concepts. Undoubtedly, the effect of atmosphere and the particular culture of Andelos was consciously or unconsciously felt in Andelos poem.

The phenomenon of doubt (hesitation) in pre-Islamic (Jaheli) poetry is usually accompanied with plagiarism (Entehal). Plagiary is not limited to any special nation; rather, it is widespread. In literary works of many nations. Mohammad Ibn-e-sallam Aljomahi and Abdolmalik Ibn-e-Hesham are among the most prominent critics of plagiary. Also, Morgolious, one of the greatest orientalists, has criticized this issue and branched the reasons for it into two categories: external and internal reasons.Mostafa sadeq Al-Rafei is among the first contemporary Arabs who took this issue into consideration. Then Dr. Taha Hossein in his book “The per-islamic poetry” discussed this issue. In the revised edition of his book titled “pre-islamic literature “Dr Taha Hossein pointed out that “what we call pre-islamic literature is not actually pre-islamic, rather it has been concocted in Islamic era and attributed to pre-islamic (Jaheli) period”. He also believes that “the poetry in this period dose not illustrate the religious, political, economic, and social life of people and that in the pre-islamic poetry, the two famous languages of the peninsula, Adnanis and qahtanis have not been used”. not long after the publication of this book, it was faced with lots of criticism and following that many books appeared criticizing his ideas, some in an exaggerated way and some with a fair Judgment.
