Abstract

Introduction: Atmospheric and climate risks are the most destructive and the deadliest natural disasters around the world which lead to life destruction, financial and social losses.(neutral,1999). One of the most important factors of earth structure is climate which affects all natural symbols. Climate is average weather of a region and it is not used only for medium condition but it also includes variables such as minimums and maximums. Significant changes in meteorological data during a certain time period is also called climate (mandra, 1994). Earth warming trend, occurrence of continuous drought, of storms and destructive floods, heat wave increase and dust storms, rising level of seas and increase in the occurrence of extreme phenomenon in atmosphere are fundamental challenges which mainly are caused by weather changes (zarghani, 1391). The main purpose of this study is SPATIAL-TEMPORAL analysis of HEAT WAVES in KHORASAN RAZAVI and of HEAT WAVES events during recent decades.Materials and Methods: In this study, daily maximum temperature data from 10 synoptic stations for April to September in KHORASAN RAZAVI during the period (2010, 1987) and the annual, seasonal and monthly examined. At the time of HEAT WAVES in Khorasan using the 95th percentile indicator, temperature thresholds separately for each station of the year (2010, 1987) annually, quarterly or monthly revealed then the frequency of the number of days that were greater than the maximum temperature of the ninth percentile data for each of the annual, quarterly and monthly examined. Also in this study, the 1990 and 2000 season spring and summer stations Khorasan study compared the spatial continuity of the three-day HEAT WAVES and more temperature exceeds 95 (Gosling et al, 2007: 525-540) station KHORASAN RAZAVI annual, seasonal specific zoning maps were prepared.Result and Discussion: Spatial analysis of HEAT WAVES Khorasan The total number of days of warm spring during the period under study, in the spring was extracted in total, each station was different from the average station between 53 and 78 days (in the Northern and Eastern Provinces) and 78 to 104 on the other districts have recorded. The number of hot days in summer at the center of Mashhad, including stations, soil and Kashmar is haidarieh is seen that the 148 days are hot this season As in other areas of the central part of the map that are obviously hot days less than 103 days in the summer is hot In the spring compared with the number of hot days in summer is higher imported into the region. Enter the number of waves that are in the highest station in the southern part of the province shows Kashmar and the northern part of the province are going to decrease the number of hot days... Only in the north east corner of the station, the number of hot days in the southern province ferns accompany up to 166 days per year. After haidarieh station with more hot days per year to 207 days per year. Temporal analyzing HEAT WAVES khorasan According to the 95th percentile of the annual examination results were to show that sarakhs, Sabzevar, Gnabad and kashmar are enjoying at higher temperatures. Monthly examination of HEAT WAVES reached the conclusion that the different temperature thresholds which may ultimately geographical territory of the southern part of Khorasan as warm desert weather Temperate mountainous north and center, far different winds cause a variety of weather and temperature differences in different areas it is Showed that respectively, July, June and august higher temperatures than are months Examination of seasonal heat wave temperature threshold from 1987 to 2010 demonstrated. In spring season stations sarakhs and sabzevar and in summer season sarakhs, sabzevar, gonabad and kashmar the most temperature thresholds allocation. Conclusion: One the important issues of the current age is climate change and one of its important symbols is HEAT WAVES which sometimes are destructive and detrimental and affect human's life unfavorably. Findings have shown that heat wave number has increased during research period in most stations. Results show Serakhs, Sebzevar, Gonabad and Kashmar has higher temperature threshold respectively, however, Kashmar, Serakhs, Torbatheydarye experienced most HEAT WAVES. Also Neyshabor, Torbat Jaam and Mashhad had the lowest heat wave duo to high attitude and locating in higher lattitude. Graphs of temporal series indicate clearly that HEAT WAVES in selected stations had increasing trend which was significant and this trend was the highest in Mashhad and Serakhs with 0.4 gradients. HEAT WAVES in each station and temperature thresholds at each month are different. Highest temperature threshold was recorded on July in Serakhs and Sabzevar stations respectively but Kashmar and Neyshaboor stations experienced most HEAT WAVES. Ghoochan and Golmakan stations had the lowest temperature thresholds in April. Seasonal investigation of HEAT WAVES showed Serakhs and Sabzevar had the highest temperature thresholds in spring and summer and Ghoochan and Torbatheydaryehad the lowest. Northern and eastern regions of the province experienced the lowest heat wave in spring and highest HEAT WAVES occurred in Mashhad, Torbatheydarie and Kashmar stations in summer. Results of spatial investigation during three days and more showed HEAT WAVES are mostly concentrated on central and southern parts of KHORASAN RAZAVI. Finally it can be concluded that intensity, consistency and abundance of HEAT WAVES has had increasing trends in recent years in KHORASAN RAZAVI.
