Background & Aim: The aims of this study were to assess the impact of dentofacial relationships and sex on: Self evaluation and self satisfaction in 12-15 years old students in Qazvin in 2003, and to determine the correlation between type of school and variables determining malocclusion with self evaluation and self satisfaction.Method &Materials: A cross - sectional study two stage - cluster sampling was carried out among 120 students (58 girls, 62 boys) aged 12 - 15 years who attended 4 guidance - schools (2 public, 2 private) in Qazvin in 2003. All samples were examined clinically and a questionnaire was used to assess their self evaluation and self satisfaction. Data were analyzed by the means on Chi - square and Fisher exact test. Results: Overjet, crowding and severe maxillary irregularity were significantly related to self evaluation. Overjet and severe mandibular irregularity were related to self satisfaction. No sex difference was found. Type of school was not a significant factor affecting self evaluation and self satisfaction. High level of self satisfaction has been found in the students. However, the majority of student had mid level of self evaluation. Conclusion: Overjet is the only variable significant in 12-15 year old students affecting both self evaluation and self satisfaction. Subjective esthetic measure should be incorporated to clinical esthetic criteria. Good communication between dentist and patient is important in analyzing and planning esthetic treatment according to individual needs and desires.

Abstract:

A B S T R A C Tsatisfaction is considered one of the effective methods for evaluating the success of urban development plans and projects, and it is a tool to measure which type of housing and residential environment meets the needs, expectations, and aspirations of residents. This article aims to compare Amiriyeh and Pay-eToop neighborhoods in Bojnord city in terms of residents' satisfaction with living in these neighborhoods. Using a questionnaire, the data was obtained by a survey from 229 heads of sample households living in Bojnoord city. The residents' satisfaction is analyzed by 26 indicators set as home and neighborhood indices. The data is entered into SPSS software to run the One Sample T-Test and calculate statistical parameters. Also, the data is entered in Arc GIS in accordance with the UTM coordinates of the responder's locations to provide a GIS point layer to use zoning maps to be drawn. Residential satisfaction is lower than average and slightly higher in Pay-eToop than in Amiriyeh. Also, the average score of the indicators that are set as home indices is lower than those for neighborhood indices. The zoning maps indicate that most parts of the neighborhoods show an average level of satisfaction with housing, and the maps of different indicators are not much different from each other. The role of physical indicators in low satisfaction is much more significant than social indicators. To improve satisfaction, paying attention to the neighborhood regeneration and improving the housing quality is necessaryExtended AbstractIntroductionSatisfactory housing is one of the most valuable aspects of life and one of the main elements of people's living standards. The higher the level of satisfaction with a place, the more people will feel a sense of belonging to that place and feel more relaxed about being there. The feeling of satisfaction from a place can cause the positive effects of the place in the process of relationships in which the environment is being formed and carried out. On the one hand, satisfaction measurement is considered one of the effective methods of evaluating the success of urban programs and plans. On the other hand, it is a tool to measure which type of housing and residential environment currently meets its residents' needs, expectations, and aspirations. MethodologyThe residents' satisfaction is analyzed by 26 indicators set as home and neighborhood indices. A questionnaire gathers the data. Household heads in the studied neighborhoods (Amirieh and Pay-e Toop) are randomly selected as 229 sample people. The sample people evaluate the items in the questionnaire in a 5-range of the Likert scale from very high to very low. The qualified range was then changed to quantified scores from 5 to 1. Afterward, they were entered into SPSS software to run the One Sample T-Test and calculate other statistical parameters. The address of each respondent is included in the questionnaires, and based on the address, the UTM coordinates of the respondent are determined using Google Earth. Then, the information from the questionnaires is entered into the GIS according to the coordinates to provide a GIS point layer for drawing zoning maps. Results and discussionThe score of 2.75, which is the average figure of the evaluation scores for all the indicators of both neighborhoods, indicates that residential satisfaction is lower than the assumed average score (3). The average scores are 2.90 and 2.57 for Pay-e Toop and Amirieh neighborhoods, respectively, and they indicate that the residential satisfaction in the first is slightly higher than the other. Pay-e Toop is the oldest neighborhood in Bojnoord, which accommodates the traditional complex of shops (Bazar) and essential physical elements of historical eras, such as the city's citadel. In addition to the high proportion of immigrants, it also includes deep-rooted and native families that have strong social relationships. Also, the average score for the neighborhood indices is slightly higher than for the home indices. The average figure for all 26 indicators is lower than the assumed average score (3) and indicates a lower residential satisfaction. Five indicators with the higher satisfaction score are as follows: relationship with neighbors, living in the ancestral neighborhood, the situation of streets and ways, living with relatives, and the quality of wastewater disposal. On the contrary, lower satisfaction scores belong to the indicators of access to shopping centers, healthcare service centers, the size of homes, and access to public transportation, respectively. Despite the fame of the gardens of Bojnord in previous centuries, in recent decades, most of the gardens disappeared, especially in the city's central business district, which corresponds to the two studied neighborhoods; there is a small area of land covered by parks and green spaces. Green spaces are mainly the small green strips on the edge or in the middle of the streets. For Amiriye and Pay-e Toop neighborhoods, the Pearson correlation coefficient between the respondents' education levels and their scores of residential satisfaction are -0.36 and -0.23, respectively. It implies that residential satisfaction has an inverse relationship with education. Also, the correlation coefficient between the residence length in the neighborhood and residential satisfaction scores are +.001 and -0.29, respectively (for Amirieh and Pay-e Toop neighborhoods). It also indicates no relation for the first neighborhood and an inverse relation for the other. The zoning map of all the indicators shows that in more than 90% of the neighborhood area, the level of satisfaction is in the medium range. In Amirieh, the parts with low satisfaction are scattered. It can be said that the northeastern edge of the Amirieh neighborhood and the southwestern edge of the Pay-e Toop neighborhood have lower satisfaction. ConclusionThe role of physical indicators in low satisfaction is much more significant than social indicators. The physical components of the neighborhoods caused a low level of satisfaction. On the contrary, higher satisfaction is revealed from the socio-cultural components. Households prefer the quality of services more than the availability of services. In medium-sized cities such as Bojnoord, neighborhood relations, closeness to relatives, and living in neighborhoods where the ancestors lived are still decisive in creating residential satisfaction. To improve life satisfaction, paying attention to housing quality and the regeneration of both neighborhoods is necessary. Also, improvement, retrofitting, enhancing the quality of the building, and improving the quality of urban services, especially healthcare services, public transportation, and commercial services, should be considered. FundingThere is no funding support. Authors’ ContributionAuthors contributed equally to the conceptualization and writing of the article. Abstract:

Introduction: Surgical treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation (LDH) is one of the most common surgeries in the world. In many studies the success is related to the radiological results. The aim of this study, however, is to determine the effects of some psychological factors such as depression, anxiety and patients’ expectations concerning their satisfaction from Disk Herniation surgery (DHS).Materials and Methods: Sixty patients who were candidates for DHS were examined for depression, expectations, anxiety and satisfaction before and three months after the surgery using standard questionnaires. Results: The patients consisted of 33 females (55%) and 27 males (45%). The average of pain acuity before the surgery was measured as 7.25 units which decreased to 2.1 units after the operation. 93.3% of the subjects were diagnosed with anxiety of different degrees and 66.7% with depression. 70% had high expectations. The patients’ satisfaction rate was ranging from 1.7 to 8.9 (mean= 5.5).  satisfaction gained the highest rate in the patients aging between 30-39 years old. Also, depression and high expectations were found to be associated with lower levels of satisfaction. Conclusion: Depression decreases patient’s satisfaction while low expectations can increase it.

2Investigating the influencing factors on the performance and sexual satisfaction of hysterectomized women of reproductive age in Yasouj city in 2020-2022 Introduction: Sexual dysfunction after hysterectomy is a common problem that occurs in most women after the operation. Hysterectomy is the most common surgical procedure for women and sexual dysfunction also has a high prevalence, and it seems necessary to investigate the complications of this type of operation in Iran. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine sexual performance and sexual satisfaction in hysterectomized women of reproductive age who referred to Shahid Muftah Clinic in Yasuj city in 2020-2022. Methodology: This is a descriptive-analytical study and the number of samples of 66 hysterectomized women of reproductive age who referred to Shahid Muftah Clinic was conducted through available sampling method and the questionnaires were administered during two periods of three months and six months after the operation. was filled The data collection tools included the questionnaire of demographic characteristics-demographic variables, the sexual performance questionnaire (FSFI) and the questionnaire related to sexual satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS-25 software using descriptive statistics (prevalence-mean and percentage) and inferential statistics (chi-square and Pearson's correlation coefficient). Findings: In this study, 66 women of reproductive age (15-45) who underwent hysterectomy were examined. The average age of the participants was 3.62 ± 41.77, the age of marriage was 5.79 ± 18.42, the number of children was 1.22 ± 2.88, and the age of the spouses was 5.62 ± 47.09. 46 people (69.69%) had TAH hysterectomy surgery, 12 people (18.17%) had TVH surgery, and 8 people (6.1%) had supracervical surgery, which has a statistically significant difference between the types of hysterectomy surgery with sexual function (P=0.045). and sexual satisfaction (p=0.043) was found so that there was less performance and sexual satisfaction in abdominal hysterectomy. In addition, the number of 44 women, ovaries (one-sided or two-sided) were preserved during the operation and this had an effect on the behavior and emotions in sexual satisfaction (PISQ), libido and dysparonia in sexual performance P=0.0135, the most common cause of hysterectomies Abnormal bleeding (AUB) (40.9%) and caesarean section (18.2%) and then fibroma (16.7%) were respectively included. There was no significant difference between the education of the wife and the husband, the type of employment, the type of housing, and the sexual satisfaction of the patients. Conclusion : Based on the results of this research, the amount of income, the type of surgery and the skill of the doctor in the operation with/without removal of the ovaries (unilateral or bilateral) had a direct effect on the performance and sexual satisfaction of women of reproductive age, and there was a difference between the age of the wife, the place of residence, the education of the man and There was no statistically significant relationship between job satisfaction and sexual performance. In this study, it has been tried to identify the factors affecting sexual issues after hysterectomy, so that a solution can be found to moderate this disorder and increase the quality of married life of these people after the operation.  Keywords: hysterectomy, reproductive age, sexual satisfaction, sexual function

Abstract:

Introduction: The growing increase in the elderly population requires more research to identify the health priorities of this group, especially in critical situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the current study was conducted to determine the influential components of marital satisfaction and its relationship with lifestyle in Urmia City in 2021. Methods: In this descriptive-analytical and cross-sectional correlational study, 220 married elderly living in Urmia were selected through cluster sampling. The Miler's life satisfaction and Haynes's marital satisfaction questionnaires were used in addition to the demographic questionnaire to collect data in this research. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests (mean and standard deviation, frequency, and percentage) and analytical (Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple linear regression) at a significant level of P ≤ 0.05. Results: A step-by-step multiple linear regression model also revealed that variables of lifestyle (ß = -0.364), age (ß = 0.425), number of children (ß = 0.143), occupation (ß = 0.425) and illness (ß = 3.608) - had the most considerable contribution in the sensitive prediction of marital satisfaction. The regression model excluded other demographic variables. Conclusions: This study showed that lifestyle and demographic variables such as age, number of children, occupation, and illness have the greatest contribution in predicting marital satisfaction. Therefore, it seems necessary to design counseling services in comprehensive health centers for this group so that counselors can teach healthy lifestyles to older adults to improve marital relationships.
