Background: Ethics is a discipline, which primarily deals with what is moral and immoral behavior. public health Ethics is translation of ethical theories and concepts into practice to address complex multidimensional public health problems. The primary purpose of this paper was to conduct a narrative literature review-addressing role of ethics in developing curriculum in programs and schools of public health, ethics-related instruction in schools and programs of public health and the role of ethics in developing a competent public health workforce.Methods: An open search of various health databases including Google scholar and Ebscohost yielded 15 articles related to use of ethics in public health practice or public health training and the salient features were reported.Results: Results indicated a variable amount of ethics’ related training in schools and programs of public health along with public health practitioner training across the nation. Bioethics, medical ethics and public health ethics were found to be subspecialties’ needing separate ethical frameworks to guide decision making.Conclusions: Ethics based curricular and non-curricular training for emerging public health professionals from schools and programs of public health in the United States is extremely essential. In the current age of public health challenges faced in the United States and globally, to have an ethically untrained public health force is arguably, immoral and unethical and jeopardizes population health. There is an urgent need to develop innovative ethic based curriculums in academia as well as finding effective means to translate these curricular competencies into public health practice.

Although great strides have been made worldwide in the science of nutrition there remain many problems of under-nutrition and increasingly of obesity and related chronic diseases. However much has been learned over the past few decades about what works in the translation of science to practical policies and programmes to prevent and alleviate problems of nutrition. There is also increasing coordination of agencies and donors to support this effort. The need for capacity building in public health Nutrition has been stressed for many years by a range of academics, national and international organisations. The main emphasis in capacity building has been on the nutrition and health workforce but the causes of malnutrition are multifactorial and require collaboration across sectors in their solution. This means that public health Nutrition capacity building has to go beyond the immediate health workforce to policy makers in other sectors. There are many obstacles to the application of scientific knowledge apart from training and education, including lack of resources, unqualified advisers, media misinterpretations, public resistance to directives and conflicts of interest. These will be explored briefly in the presentation.

Dear editor, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), brought on by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has become a world health emergency. As of December 14, 2020, more than 71, 503, 614 confirmed cases and more than 1, 612, 833 deaths have been reported worldwide (1). TheWorld health Organization (WHO) announced the outbreak in China in December 2019, and since then, it has rapidly spread throughout the world (2). The COVID-19 epidemic has proven that health infrastructure in some countries is inadequate.

Honey is the oldest natural food produced by honeybee and comprises wide variety of valuable ingredients including carbohydrate, proteins, minerals, vitamins, organic acids, polyphenols and flavonoids that contribute to well-known therapeutic properties. This review provide available scientific information on different ways of honey adulteration and chemical contamination with the certain focus on the variety of methods for analyzing the residue levels in honey samples. For data collection, different scientific databases including Science Direct, Springer, PubMed and Magiran were searched. Honey such as other food products at risked to various types of contaminations and adulterations. Microbial and chemical hazards have been reported in various honey samples all over the world. Therefore, its use without knowing the source and its safety may be significant health risks. Honey labeling according to qualitative analysis is very necessary confirmed that health care. health officials in all countries have to introduce firm regulation and laws that control and regulate honey production, handling, and analysis to ascertain its safety. Obviously, investigation of sensitivity of methods in order to detect the chemical residue levels for preventing the disruptive impacts on consumer’s health is momentous and all reasonable efforts should be taken for having adequate control over honey production and standardizing the maximum residue levels of chemicals to minimize possible contaminations.
