Abstract:

Language is considered one of the fundamental elements of writing. Many believe that there are differences between masculine and feminine language in writing. Therefore, in the radical and postmodern branch of the feminist movement, language and feminine writing have received significant attention. However, the existence of such a language is not compatible with the logic of language formation, and gender cannot be an effective factor in creating an independent language. Therefore, feminist linguistics, as a branch of structuralism, with its distinction between feminine writing, Fara-gender writing, and non-gender writing, attempts to examine examples and clarify the mentioned perspectives. This article, while examining various types of writing, including gender, Fara-gender, and non-gender, seeks to provide a different perspective on the relationship between language and gender and any pre-existing patterns that divide written language into feminine and masculine. By analyzing works by Forough Farrokhzad, it presents examples of various relationships between language and writing to demonstrate that the categorization of writing into feminine and masculine is entirely gender-biased. This research has collected the concept of feminine and masculine writing and sought answers beyond what previous researchers have presented using a descriptive-analytical method, with qualitative data collection through library sources and data analysis.

Abstract:

Most archaeologists, by the middle of the twentieth century, have been ignored half of the human groups, meaning women and the various roles they had in the evolution of human societies. Women’s movements in the 1960s and 1970s made way to an altered views of human societies evolution that focused on women’s roles. If in the beginning, the feminists had the dilemma of looking for women in the primary sources, today they could go on much beyond and challenge assumptions of universal notions such as sex, gender, and subjectivity. However, many archaeologists have distanced themselves from the feminist label, arguing that gender research covers a wider range of gender categories. In the Near East, gender research has been pursued seriously since the 1990s, albeit a clarified need for research using systematic theories and methodology. In Iranian archaeology, a handful of studies have been conducted on the subject of gender and women. In this article, the formation of research on women and gender archaeology have been recounted. Despite the wide range of approaches, no single theory or school of thought has risen to a position of preeminence, and the androcentric view still carry the mainstream research in many studies.

Abstract:

Islam’s political approach has always assigned either of sexes with duties and responsibilities within the extent of their capacity and capability while considering equal human rights for them. In this approach, justice is met where both sexes have equal chance of political participation and social presence no matter what differences they have.Further in this article, the meaning of gender justice as well as women’s social and individual responsibilities are highlighted in order to reflect the significance of justice and its role in linking gender and politics. The author has also provided some of the misunderstandings about the right of women in social and political participation providing reasonable answers to clarify them. It seems that the best way of achieving gender justice is to refrain from excessiveness and immoderation.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research was to study the effects of sex and gender role on friendship patterns between both sexes and the main question of this project is: do gender roles have an effect on friendship patterns? A sample of 197 female students and 138 male students from the University of Tehran were selected to participate in the study. The methods used in this research were two questionnaires of the Friendship Quality (Hejaze, 1996) and Sex Role Inventory (Bem, 1981). Data was analyzed using independent t-test and correlation chi square. The results of the study showed that there is a meaningful connection between gender and friendship pattern, for example, the women are more intimate with their friends and, therefore, are more satisfied, whereas men are more trusting of their friends. Additionally, the findings do not indicate any meaningful connection between gender roles and friendship patterns. In fact gender role cannot predict friendship patterns.

Abstract:

In linguistics, linguistic gender is distinguished from the biological one. Despite the existence of a relation between the two, linguistic studies indicate that the relationship is not isomorphic. Language of the Holy Quran, also known as Classical Arabic, exhibits an extensive variation in the use and types of linguistic gender. This research provides a new classification of this type of gender, different from the ones already presented in traditional grammars of Arabic, based on the language of the Holy Quran and adopting the Markedness Theory in linguistics. The results may prove useful both in the linguistic interpretation of the Quranic verses, especially those related to women and their significance in the Holy Quran, and in offering language researchers a new and different approach to the analysis of the Arabic language and grammar.

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to explain the basics of women's gender differences and legal approaches regarding considerations and gender differences in law. This research, with analytical-descriptive method, aims to investigate these differences and the reason for their creation. In addition, it is an attempt to measure the impact of gender justice as an independent factor on the peaceability of societies and development in international documents. Among the most important challenges of gender difference in crimes against physical integrity, lack of policy making based on gender justice, lack of agreement on the definition of gender justice, patriarchy in policy-making institutions, gap between research and policy-making institutions, etc. The results of the research showed that the basis of the gender difference in crimes against physical integrity is not the superiority of the male sex over the female or the discrimination between the two in terms of gender, but the basis of this difference is due to the difference in their creation, duties and roles, etc. The purpose of this article is to explain the basics of women's gender differences and legal approaches regarding considerations and gender differences in law. Abstract:

Psychological differences between girls and boys which influence socialization of the young in their perceived gender roles are becoming highly important. The aim of the present research is to study these differences within the conceptual framework of BEM gender Index. The data was gathered through questionnaires completed by a sample group of over 500 high school students. The research findings demonstrate significant differences among girls and boys in such a way that gender beliefs among boys in comparison to girls were more non-stereotyped. If born again, girls wished more than boys to have a different sex. This issue is an indication of girls being less content than boys about their sex. Considering that girls with active and social characteristics and behaviors, and boys with emotional characteristics and behavior were more frequently criticized, it seems gender stereotyping is a prevailing practice in the society and getting away from it is considered an abnormality.
