IN THIS STUDY, ATRAK CULTIVAR WITH VERY GOOD BAKING QUALITY AND MV-17 CULTIVAR AS PARENTS OF POOR BAKING QUALITY WERE SELECTED TO PRODUCE DIFFERENT GENERATION’S NECESSARY FOR GENERATION MEANS ANALYSIS. IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE THE GENE BEHAVIOUR OF THE ATRAK ´ MV-17 CROSS SIX GENERATIONS METHOD (P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1 AND BC2 GENERATIONS) WERE USED. THE EXPERIMENTS WERE CONDUCTED IN A RANDOMIZED COMPLETE BLOCK DESIGN WITH FOUR REPLICATIONS IN MAHIDASHT RESEARCH STATION, KERMANSHAH PROVINCE, IRAN IN 2010- 2011 CROPPING PERIOD. AFTER HARVESTING, SOME BAKING QUALITY RELATED TRAITS WAS MEASURED. THE RESULTS ESTIMATE OF THE GENETIC COMPONENTS OF THE AVERAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ATRAK ´ MV-17 CROSS SHOWED THAT THE BEST MODEL WAS SIX PARAMETERS MODEL INCLUDING: [M], [A], [D], [I], [J] AND [L] COMPONENTS. IN THE CROSSING SCHEME PARTIAL DOMINANCE FOR THOUSAND KERNEL WEIGHT, GRAIN PROTEIN PERCENTAGE, HARDNESS INDEX AND PERCENTAGE OF WET AND THE PERCENTAGE OF WET GLUTEN WAS TOWARD THE MORE POOR PARENT (-1 <H / D <0 ), THUS CONTRIBUTION OF ADDITIVE GENE EFFECTS IN GENETIC CONTROL OF TRAITS WAS MORE THAN NON-ADDITIVE GENE EFFECTS
