Abstract:

The environment can be an effective factor in inducing positive social behavior, and the residential environment is no exception to this rule. This research aims to identify the effective variables on Sociability in housing projects. With reference to the importance of variables in the outcome, the main aim of the research is prioritizing effective elements. While adopting a qualitative method of enquiry, the Delphi technique has been used to collect the opinions of experts about the priority of criteria. The data were collected with questionnaires. Initially and through a literature review, several factors that are strongly related to design field (Architecture, Urban Design, and Residential Spaces) were identified. The questionnaires were consecutively sent to 25 experts. 18 key experts answered the survey forms. Their responses were analyzed for the purpose of identifying major criteria. Following revisions as a result of the comments received from the first round, the participants were asked to repeat the assessment in the second round. A t-test was used to determine whether or not the experts’ opinions on the first and second round were consistant. The results of the research showed that the final set of variables grouped into 5 categories: (1) physical factors; (2) semantic factors; (3) contextual factors; (4) activity factors; and (5) personal factors. Physical factors consisted of functional distance, functional centrality, flexibility and adaptability, functional propinquity, space geography, housing type, human relation with nature, material, and so on. Semantic factors were spiritual experience and place. Contextual factors consisted of neighborhood, services and safety. Activity factors were life style, time and process. Personal factors consisted of privacy and interaction, age, gender, education, occupation type and need to help. We used Shannon’s entropy to determine the importance weights of variables. Physical factors were the most important attribute and activity factors were the least important one. The physical factors of housing have a significant role in increasing Sociability. The analysis of the results of the research proved the theory that built environment impacts behavior. This would provide a wealth of data that could be used for future research.

Abstract:

Due to the change of lifestyle and improvement of public health the number of aged people has considerably increased. Considering the relationship of the environment and people, the built environment features could exacerbate or facilitate the elderly people’ s vulnerability and social needs. Recently, a large number of studies have put emphasis on the relationship between the neighborhoods’ open spaces attributes and seniors’ social needs. This study seeks to investigate the impact of the built environment indicators on the time the elderly spent in urban spaces of Banafsheh neighborhood in Mashhad. In order to do this, through a cross-sectional survey research, 33 indicators were collected from recent studies and categorized in seven main urban design qualities based on perceived and self-report data collected by questionnaire. A regression analysis revealed the impact of each quality on the Sociability of the elderly. Results demonstrate that in this context, “ safety” is the most effective factor on the elderly presence in open spaces. “ Attractiveness” and “ all age presence” are at the next points.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to explain the relation between scientific Sociability and formation of university student' identity. This research was a social survey. Questionnaire combined with interviews, and documentary method were used to collect research data. The statistical population included all graduate students of public universities in Isfahan province in 1396. A total of 320 individuals were selected as sample size. The reliability of the research variables was examined and confirmed using composite reliability coefficients and Cronbach's alpha. The research findings indicated a significant and positive relationship between each of the variables of academic Sociability, membership in scientific communities, interaction with friends and the participatory atmosphere of the college, respectively (r= 0. 635, 175, . 233, . 570) with student's identity. Also, in evaluating the structural model using PLS software, the volume of the effect of academic Sociability (F2= 0. 143) was in moderate level and other variables were low. A value of Q2 equal to 0. 405 indicates that, in general, the predictive power of the model is high. According to the findings, although the components of scientific acceptability have been able to explain the student's identity in the statistical population to a large extent, but the main challenge regarding student's identity has been identified in just focusing on internal university factors alone and insufficient attention to external academic factors in this regard.

Abstract:

Though markets are the dynamic centers of cities, but the sensitivity of spiritual attitudes has caused limitation in the physical manifestation of these spaces and their rate of Sociability. This article tries to clarify that what kind of impacts the viewpoint of Islamic spirituality has on the Sociability of urban commercial centers. It sees that there are many physical and conceptual differences between contemporary shopping centers and markets of the past. In order to amend and improve these centers, firstly it is necessary to study the traditional markets in the topic of Sociability precisely and then the rate of their fulfillment in today’s centers should be studied. The hullaballoo of attractions and emotion resulting from that in today’s shopping centers gets the internal relaxation from human and this is the same reason for reprimanding the market environment by the religious mystics. This research is made with a critical attitude and relying on the free research method and logic reasoning and its goal is to present a model for the design of contemporary commercial spaces with a view to the Sociability in Islamic attitude. For this purpose, using the religious texts, first the principles of ruling Sociability on these spaces are introduced and then their methods of fulfillment in the past and contemporary cities are studies and compared with the principles related in the world urbanism. Based on the results obtained, these principles may be detached from each other in two parts of negative and positive of which the most important ones are the necessity of avoiding the appearance of the market, minimum definition of the leisure role of market, combination of social -cultural role in market with mosque, ability of the market for celebrating the religious rituals and so on. Though these principles are well observable in traditional cities, but some of them today have been seriously distorted in the plans of urban development and under the impact of world views. However, these conditions are related to the religious ideal state and their fulfillment in the contemporary consuming condition needs to a vast ground paving which in the beginning might face fast opposite reaction.

Abstract:

"Conceptology" is one of the basic steps in any research and all parts of the research are closely related to it or depend on it. Using the documentary method, this paper seeks to identify and define the structure of political socialization in which, in addition to conceptology, it deals with its meanings, applications, functions, similarities, and semantic contrasts and how it is transmitted, derived and related to the concepts of society, Sociability, culture and political culture has been studied. Finally, the findings of the study show that political socialization is the process by which political beliefs, values, knowledge, and behaviors are passed on from previous generations to new generations and if they are interpreted and explained correctly, it causes political vitality and a more favorable future for the political society, especially the religious political culture and the Islamic system.
