Abstract: 

This research focuses on the effect of passive methods in the field of energy storage, produce energy by using renewable energies, and also to achieve the construction patterns of residential buildings in the climate conditions of Shiraz, with the aim reducing energy consumption. Statistics show that in Iran, fuel consumption in residential and commercial buildings with an average annual growth of 7. It is about 2.37% of the country's total fuel consumption. One way to minimize energy consumption in this sector is to increase the role of zero-energy buildings. Zero-energy buildings provide technical ways to consume less energy in buildings. These buildings are designed and built so that all or a large part of these provide the energy they need through the combination of energy saving and the use of renewable energy technology. In this research, after studying the climate condition of the city of Shiraz, a building in the Energy Plus software, the simulation and climatic data of the Shiraz station was introduced to the software. To achieve the most optimal conditions of energy consumption in the climatic conditions of Shiraz, each of the building elements Residential was optimized. The simulation shows that it is possible to reduce the energy consumption of the building by using passive building materials and designs, including double-glazed glass, Wall insulation, etc. On the other hand, by using solar energy, using PVsyst software, you can supply the energy needed by the building.

Abstract: 

Energy is one of the most critical factors in economic development, but achieving sustainable development is impossible without environmental protection and improving economic conditions. If a country is dependent on energy, any structural reform policies to reduce energy consumption may reduce economic growth. Saving energy consumption and the development and application of alternative technologies, especially renewable energy, has a significant role in controlling and reducing the consumption of fossil energy carriers and, consequently, reducing the emission of environmental pollutants and achieving sustainable development. This article deals with the feasibility of constructing renewable energy power plants in Khoy city. First, using RETSCREEN software, the economic and environmental conditions of the construction of renewable energy power plants in Khoy city are examined. Using PVsyst software, the requirements for constructing solar power plants are discussed in a specialized way. In this article, the inflation rate is 12%, and the interest rate is 4%. The construction of solar and geothermal power plants in this city can be prioritized based on the results. The solar power plant has a production capacity of 30 MW. 212194 meters of land, and a capital of 40 million dollars are needed to construct this solar power plant. The payback period of this project in Khoy city is estimated at 25 years.

Abstract: 

today , due to various reasons such as increasing the prices of energy carriers , increasing the amount of pollutants in the environment , the use of renewable energy sources in the production of electrical energy is growing .among the renewable energy systems , photovoltaic systems are hugely popular because of their stability , high lifetime and low cost of service and maintenance .therefore , evaluation of their performance in order to understand the different aspects of their performance is necessary because the lack of attention to this critical issue in the use of these resources will not only be useful but also it may incur the cost of irreversible economic costs .in order to avoid this problem , various software tools have been proposed to simulate and evaluate the pre-construction of electrical power generation units .in this paper , with the help of accurate meteorological data including annual radiation and ambient temperature , the feasibility of installing a 30 kW PV grid-connected to the grid in a training center has been investigated by using PVsyst software . the simulation results showed that using solar resources for generating electrical energy in this location would be appropriate.

Abstract: 

This paper focuses on the design of a 200 kW photovoltaic (PV) system on the University of Mazandaran (UMZ) campus and the technical and practical challenges. In this regard, PVsyst software is used to optimize the panel layout to both reduce land use and maximize energy efficiency. The findings indicate that a tilt angle of 26 degrees and a row spacing of 4 meters, which decreases land area by 43% relative to a 7-meter spacing, results in just a 4.4% reduction in energy production. In a comparison of three layout designs including longitudinal rectangle, transverse rectangle and square, the transverse rectangular design with dimensions of 52 × 27.5 m offers the best performance with an annual efficiency of 256 MWh and a performance ratio of 0.817, which is ideal for rectangular plots. The Law on the Removal of Production Barriers and the Renewable Energy Agency (SATBA) authorize a 6.9 cents/kWh feed-in tariff, extending the payback time to four years. Technical, economic, and policy aspects of PV systems in limited urban areas are optimized.  It also suggests realistic solar solutions for corporations within spatial and climatic constraints. Key recommendations include promoting PV systems to save land and holding educational workshops to gain community support and address environmental concerns. This research provides a sustainable and replicable model for solar energy development that reduces dependence on fossil fuels and reduces carbon emissions. This is done by combining cost-benefit analysis, technical optimization and policy alignment.

Abstract: 

Solar energy is a clean and nonrenewable energy provided by photovoltaic systems, and its use is increasing daily. In Iran, due to the diversity of the climate and the need to supply electricity on a large scale, the use of solar energy to supply the electricity needed by industrial and household units is considered. In this research, the economic design of a 200 kW on-grid power plant was demonstrated by PVsyst software using 364 modules (550 W) on a rooftop in Shiraz. Taking into account the geographical location of Shiraz (which is located at a latitude of 29.82 N and longitude of 52.60 E) and shading and the maximum use of sunlight, an angle of 30° was considered suitable for installing solar panels. The results showed that the total energy received by the panels was equal to 480.4 MW/h per year; after deducting the system losses, the amount of energy injected into the national grid was equal to 413.2 MW/h per year. The annual global irradiance on the horizontal plane was 2199.1 kWh/m2, while the global incident in the collector plane and effective global irradiance after optical losses were 2467.3 kWh/m2 and 2396 kWh/m2, respectively. The annual DC energy produced from the PV array and the annual AC energy injected into the grid were 427.81 and 413.2 MWh, respectively. The cumulative cash flow rate showed that after 20 years, the income of this power plant was 7000 billion IRR.

Abstract: 

Electricity is an indispensable requirement for modern society, and with the advancement of technology, the adoption of renewable energy sources, such as Solar Power Plants (PLTS), has been on the rise. PLTS harness the virtually limitless and abundant power of solar energy. The successful construction and operation of a Solar Power Plant necessitates meticulous planning to ensure optimal functionality. In our research aimed at PLTS development, we have chosen an on-grid operating system for installation on the roof of SDN 023905 Binjai. This decision aligns with our goal to reduce the reliance on conventional electrical sources at SDN 023905 Binjai, which currently receives its entire electrical supply from PLN. The proposed PLTS will boast a capacity of 1. 2kWp, comprising four 300Wp solar panels connected in series, alongside a 1. 2 kW to 3 kW inverter. Our comprehensive analysis validates the feasibility of this plan, as it yields a Performance Ratio (PR) of 84%, surpassing the minimum PR benchmark of 70%. From a financial perspective, the project entails an initial investment cost of IDR 31, 555, 222, with a remarkably swift payback period occurring within the first year and month of the PLTS's 20-year operational lifespan.

Abstract: 

During the past decades, increasing energy demand across the world has fueled the energy production significantly, which has led to the environmental impacts such as global warming and depletion of the ozone layer; it has also endangered the species. Hence, the whole world started shifting towards the green energy generation, eliminating all the negative impacts on the environment. The solar power is the most efficient source of energy among the other renewable energy sources. In this work, we analyze the simulated performance of a 250 kWp grid-connected Si-poly photovoltaic plant. This work is conducted in order to evaluate the performance and feasibility of a solar PV plant for Pune, India Location. Each Module has a rating of 310 Wp, connected in 65 strings with 12 panels per string. 42 string inverters are utilized. The simulation is carried out in the PVsyst 7. 2 and the Meteonorm8. 0 data is used. The simulation is carried out to in order to get maximum energy production; this experiment is performed in 2 phases, one with a fixed angle throughout the year and another by adjusting the tilt angle for every month. The multiple trials are conducted in order to get the best angle for the maximum production of electricity, and we compared the parameters such as the incident radiation, performance ratio, energy into the grid and energy output at array and losses. The optimum angles are chosen based on the input energy at the grid.

Abstract: 

In this study, PVsyst simulation software is used to analyze a PV grid tied system in a typical primary school in Iraq. The proposed system is 5kW which is affordable and applicable from the cost and required area points respectively. The monthly averaged electrical load for a typical school is approximately calculated. The system simulation has been done for thirteen Iraqi provinces while it is described and its performance is analyzed in details for Baghdad city as an example. The performance ratio for the system in Baghdad is 0. 825 and about 9. 82MWh is generated by the system per year, 62. 7% is consumed by the load and the remaining is injected to the national grid. The results showed that the initial capital cost is $5, 442 which is returned after five and a half years. The cost of 1 kWh if the system operates for 10 years is $0. 058. This study clearly demonstrates that photovoltaic power system can effectively assist the peak load on the grid. In addition, these systems are very economical/no maintenance project and can be hooked to any the peak time load.

Abstract: 

This study focuses on the design and performance optimization of a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) system intended to meet the energy demands of the Computer Center at Al-Zaytoonah University in Jordan. The PV system simulation was conducted using PVsyst software, with parameters tailored to the geographical location of the site (Latitude: 31.96°N, Longitude: 35.93°E) and local meteorological data. The selected configuration includes 90 JinkoSolar JKM 370M-72 PV modules paired with a SUN2000-33KTL-US inverter, providing a total system capacity of 33.3 kWp. By evaluating different orientations, the optimal setup was determined to be a fixed tilt angle of 27° and an azimuth angle of 0°, resulting in an annual energy output of 59.727 MWh, a performance ratio of 84.3%, and a specific energy yield of 1794 kWh/kWp/year. In addition to energy performance, the study assesses the economic and environmental impacts of the system. Simulation results estimate that the system will prevent approximately 837.732 tons of CO₂ emissions over a 30-year period. Financial analysis indicates a payback period of approximately 1.86 years, with expected cumulative savings exceeding 816,000 Jordanian Dinars over 20 years—largely due to rising electricity tariffs. These findings confirm the feasibility and sustainability of solar PV installations for institutional use in Jordan and similar regions. The study presents a replicable design approach, supported by real-world performance simulations, which can serve as a valuable reference for integrating renewable energy solutions into educational facilities.
