Abstract:

This article discusses about the different definitions of the category of quantity. From these definitions, the second and the third are zoomed on more. Because number is not a secondary philosophical intelligible. It is not also from the genus of existence. On the contrary, it exists in its object existence and it is a first intelligible. We demonstrate that number is of nature and the thing, which actually is divided, is object not number. Number is a thing although it can be divided. It also deduces that different numbers are species. We argue that the difference between connected quantity and separate quantity is not in defect division, but in having common component. We also criticize the argument that declares straight lines and curves are species.

Abstract:

In this research the effect of gum obtained from Shirazi Balangu seed was studied in three concentrations of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3g per Kg of skimmed milk containing 0.5% fat in producing Iranian white cheese. Also two types of control cheese, one of them full-fat cheese obtained from whole milk with 3.8% fat and the other from skimmed milk with 0.5% fat and without gum were prepared. The results of chemical and Rheological tests suggest the improving of cheese texture with limited increase in concentration of Shirazi Balangu gum, and the cheese obtained from adding 0.2g Shirazi Balangu seed gum showed the most likeness to high fat control cheese sample. Control low-fat cheese allocated the greatest amount of tissue characteristics (hardness, elasticity) to itself, which represents stiffness and undesirability of its tissue and with the passing of time and with increasing the concentration of Shirazi Balangu gum, the amount of indicators of tissue were decreased. Also among the produced samples, the cheese sample containing 0.2g Shirazi balangu seed gum gained the highest acceptance among raters in terms of sensory. This study showed that the Shirazi balangu seed gum can be used as a fat substitute and also is considered and used as an improving factor in cheese texture.

Abstract:

Introduction: The development and empowerment of any society depend on the sound health conditions of the individuals living in that society. In fact, the two factors of health and development are interrelated in a sense that the existence of one gives rise to the other. That is why the present study aims at assessing some PHYSICAL health indexes among secondary-school male students ranging from twelve to fourteen years old in Gachsaran, Iran. The study was carried out during the academic year of 2009-2010. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive research study. The variables assessed in this study include:  PHYSICAL growth like height and weight, health status of vision, hearing, mouth and tooth, as well as that of the vertebral column. For the purpose of this study, 1000 boys with the age range of twelve to fourteen years old, i.e. from the first to the third grade of secondary high school, were randomly selected for the assessment. The selection was based on multistage sampling. The instruments used for data collection include a questionnaire and observation record sheets. As for the PHYSICAL examinations, several instruments were utilized as follows: measuring tape, weighing scale, Snellen chart, tuning fork, flashlight, spatulas and disposable gloves. Results: Regarding the assessment of PHYSICAL growth, the median values for weights and heights of the subjects in all age groups were lower than the median point of NCHS. Generally, the weight of 4.6% of the students was below the third percentile of the NCHS chart, 29.2%, fell between the third and the fiftieth percentiles, 54.3% between the fiftieth and the ninety seventh percentiles and 11.9% of their weight was found to be higher than the ninety seventh percentile of the NCHS chart. As for the findings related to the height, 3.2% of the students were shorter than the third percentile of the NCHS charts, 32.6%, fell between the third and fiftieth percentiles, 52.3% between the fiftieth and ninety seventh percentiles and 11.9% were taller than the ninety seventh percentile of the NCHS chart. The results of assessing visual conditions show that 25.8% of the students with glasses had at least one eye with less than 0.9 visual acuity. Regarding the hearing status, the findings show that 8.4% of the students subjected to whisper test were found to have hearing loss in either one or both ears. In relation to health status of teeth, the findings indicated that 72% of the students participating in the present study had decayed permanent teeth. Concerning the vertebral column, the results indicate that 6.8%, 2.4% and 3.9% of the students in this research had scoliosis, lordosis and kiphosis, respectively. As for demographic specifications, it was found that there was a significant correlation between DMFT index and the fathers’ education as well as the number of children in the familyConclusion: The results of the present study show the importance of paying more attention to students’ dental health, nutrition, PHYSICAL education and health status of visual, hearing and skeletal systems.

Abstract:

Introduction: The concept of assessing environmental risks indicates that in occurrence of tensions how sever human & natural environments are threatened by dangers. So, environmental risk assessment is known as a legal requirement for activities with potential damage to environment and/or human health. Multi-ATTRIBUTE decision making (MADM) is a conceptual frame-work and an applicable solution for assessing and selecting land and water resources Management systems (LWRMS).Balarood dam with a height of 77.5 m and a crest length of 1070 m in Khuzestan province is a border between cities of Andimeshk and Husseinieh. It is located between 48°15’ to 48°20’ at east and 32°38’ to 32°45’ at north and about 25 km away from the city. The dam is built over Balarood River, one of head branches of Dez River. Surface water resources existing in the study area are Dez and Balarood rivers. This dam with the goal of flood control, decreasing flood hazards in Dez River and supplying water required for about 6990 hectares of agricultural lands is now under construction. Figure 1 shows the geographical location of the study area.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify effective criteria for measuring competitive position of certain products of Shahdiran company, a regional major food and juice producer in Iran. To determine the criteria and their relative importance, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used by organizing a decision team consisting of 6 top managers of the company. Four major competitors (based on market share) were selected for comparison purposes. Cook and Seiford’s developed model which consists of 19 successive steps was used to determine the company’s competitive position. For that, questionnaires based on Saaty scale, were designed to determine; effective criteria, relative importance of each criterion, and company’s rank from retailer’s point of view.A survey research was also conducted to identify the position of other food product retailers in Mashhad as competitors. As a result, company's position in comparison with its four major competitors was determined through using 20 known criteria and market mix. The research further revealed that Alpha totally holds the first rank among its nearest competitors in the regional market while it holds rank 1 for product, 3 for price, 1 for place and finally the second rank for promotion.

Abstract:

Coherency ATTRIBUTE is one of the proper tools in interpretation of structural discontinuities and stratigraphy features in 3-D seismic data. Coherency measurements in three dimensions discuss trace-to-trace similarity and therefore represent interpretable changes in these cases. The similar traces are mapped with high coherence coefficients while anomalies and discontinuities have low coherence coefficients. Coherency ATTRIBUTE shows evaluation criterion of lateral changes in the seismic response, caused by variation in structure, stratigraphy, lithology, porosity and the presence of hydrocarbon. Output of this ATTRIBUTE is a coherence cube which illustrates structural discontinuities and stratigraphy features with higher resolution. In this paper, the application of two conventional coherency ATTRIBUTEs based on eigenstructure and crosscorrelation for detection of faults in 3-D synthetic seismic data and actual seismic data is presented.Considering the experimental results, this method has an appropriate response to low SNR for 3-D synthetic models and 3-D actual data. In addition, the comparison of eigenstructure -based coherency ATTRIBUTE method with crosscorrelation-based coherency ATTRIBUTE method indicates the former has higher resolution for detection faults than the latter.

Abstract:

The sanction (Tasvib) and the denigration (Takhtia) problem is one of the differences of opinions between the Moslems' Usolist. For the answer to this question which religion and belief follows the sanction or the denigration, there is no clear expression. Whatever we see in the principle Imamye's writings, they relate the basis of the denigration to Imamye and the basis of the sanction to the Sunnites. After referring to the valid principle references of the Sunnites, it is revealed that this relating is not true generally. The Sunnites scientists mostly believe in the denigration basis and among them, only a small group of them follow the sanction.
