Whistle- blowers are people who expose misconducts or unethical behaviors that exists in the organization. It seems that personality is one reason why some employees are more incline than others to engage in whistle-blowing behavior Measurement of personality with narrow band form can't detect significant relations properly, so in the current research we apply facet measure of two personality dimensions which contain many subscales. The main purpose of this research was to investigate the relation between whistle-blowing and personality (two scales of extraversion and Neuroticism). To this goal, 1228 participants from a big holding in Tehran were selected using random sampling method from the total Population. Questionnaires which were used in this research included two scale of Eyseneck Personality Profiler namely Extraversion, Neuroticism (EPP) and Whistle-blowing Questionnaire (WBQ). The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between self expression and aggression with whistle-blowing, and a negative significant correlation between Low self-esteem, anxiety, guilt & dependence with whistle-blowing. So, it seems that there are some relationships between some personality characteristics and ethical behavior of whistle-blowing, and these results can be used in selecting personnel in organizations. Hence it may be possible to select individuals with specific personality traits so that the ethical code of conduct in the organization is with held and counter productive behavior within the organization may be inhibited.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perfectionism and five factor personality with procrastination. The sample was 300 students (190 females, 110 males) who completed Procrastination Assessment Student-Scale (PASS), Big Five Inventory (BFI), and Tehran Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (TMPS). Pearson correlation and multiple regression through simultaneous were used for analyzing the data. The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation between extroversion with conscientiousness and openness and a significant negative correlation with Neuroticism. There is a significant positive correlation between procrastination with all of the perfectionism scales and Neuroticism and also Neuroticism with all of the perfectionism scales. The results of multiple regression analysis also indicated that Neuroticism and perfectionism predicted significantly academic procrastination. The results and its implications are discussed in the article.

Background: Infertility influences various aspects of a woman’s personality and psyche, and affects her functions within her family and occupation, as well as her ability to communicate. Studies have shown that infertility is associated with depression, stress, anxiety, dissatisfaction with life and other psychological problems.The purpose of the present study was to compare the dimensions of Neuroticism and androgyny in fertile, infertile and postmenopausal women.Methods: This study included of 180 fertile, infertile and postmenopausal women (60 in each group) selected from inpatients at Imam Khomeini and Mirza Koochak Khan Hospitals, Tehran, Iran, during 2004. Data were collected using the NEO Personality Inventory Neuroticism Scale and Bem Sex-Role Inventory and analyzed using the oneway ANOVA technique.Results: LSD test results show that mean Neuroticism scores were significantly different between the three groups, with scores following the trend: infertile women > postmenopausal women > fertile women. The mean androgyny scores were also significantly different between the three groups, following the trend: infertile women < postmenopausal women < fertile women (p<0.01).Conclusion: The results of this research are congruent with findings from other studies. These results may be useful for infertility counseling and therapy.
