Abstract:

NATIONAL UNITY is one of the components of NATIONAL power and security which has been always a subject for study by thinkers in the field of political sociology and also has been interested by statesmen in different countries. This issue has attracted more attention in recent decades due to the factors such as fall of colonial system and formation of new nation-states; collapse of the Easter bloc; intensification of ethnic disputes in some countries; globalization; and finally increase in interNATIONAL migrations. One of the subjects which is closely related to NATIONAL UNITY is "NATIONAL identity". NATIONAL identity is one of the most fundamental elements and a necessary precondition for achieving NATIONAL UNITY and solidarity. Since Iran is among the countries that has always, during its long history, been faced with the preservation and strengthening of NATIONAL UNITY and solidarity, this article tries to explain relationship between these two concepts in Iran drawing upon a historical sociology approach. To do this, two periods in ancient and modern history of Iran characterized by rise and fall of NATIONAL UNITY in Iran were studied. Findings show that in studied periods, there were a direct relationship between NATIONAL identity and NATIONAL UNITY and the strengthening or weakening of NATIONAL solidarity have been influenced by policies and actions of governments regarding NATIONAL identity.

Abstract:

The great Islamic ummah during the many centuries after the early centuries of Islam failed to achieve the purpose and end that Islam had foreseen and intended for him. This was what had kept them away from Islam, the dispersion and neglect of the Muslims. Their divisions have endured the enemies' domination over them. But what is certain is that the role of UNITY in spreading the UNITY of the ummah cannot be denied. And maintaining UNITY is a very profound and important value that the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Imams (AS) have invited us to. The issue of UNITY is one of the most important Islamic issues that many scholars, scholars, peacekeepers and leaders of the Islamic world are concerned with and whose purpose is to identify the role of NATIONAL UNITY in strengthening the internal power of the system and the main research question corresponding to the purpose of the strategies. What is NATIONAL in Strengthening the Internal Power of the Islamic Republic of Iran System by Emphasizing on the Statements of the Supreme Leader? The type of research is applied and its method is descriptive-analytical which is used to collect information from the "scientific and specialized library" tool of "Internet". And in fieldwork using the opinions of the scientific elite, the sample size is 30 people. The results show that wise and wise leadership at the head of government and compliance with the law are the most important strengths and strategies in fostering NATIONAL UNITY to resolve differences and UNITY of people and officials. This is achieved by doing systematic scientific work through the SWOT matrix.

Abstract:

Islamic movement is the major axis in NATIONAL UNITY, which was based on «Ashura» school of thought by Imam Khomeini. Therefore, Islamic movement is a pivotal movement which forms UNITY. On the other hand, performance of cultural-human capitals in more proper realization of social-regional security and in religious beliefs, and playing role in human resources is proportionate with the type and level of organizational and social beliefs. Therefore, position of religion and formation of human resources' belief should be determined in it. It is noteworthy that our security is based on our religion and relies on a divine system. On the contrary, a lot of efforts are made to isolate Iran. Hence, determination of NATIONAL UNITY strategy and Islamic coherence to combat the movements of enemies is pretty essential. Therefore, it is essential to change tactic against the new socio-political movement in the 21 century and outset of the third millennium. Enemies have aimed their attacks at Iran's nation and Islam world as the main center of the capability, and adopting a strategy to divide people in NATIONAL and religious terms is of importance to them.In line with this, it is stressed that NATIONAL contribution to social security is the ground to reinforce NATIONAL UNITY and Islamic coherence. Police forces have managed to take some measures in this regard and have acted very well. The measures taken by police are: security policies, prevention, reduction of conflict in NATIONAL and regional level, development of citizens’ security living in suburbs, decisive confrontation with superstition, and with fanatic cultural extremism such as hitting dagger over head in religious ceremonies, and meaningful guidance of public thought. In the author's point of view, police able to establish and develop security is a police which pays attention to its own human resources, and makes people trust in it, and can improve public satisfaction and make people cooperate in social activities.

Abstract:

The presence of ancient myths and mythical concepts and personages of Shahnameh, in the war poem can't be accidental. But; Shahnameh is an ancient pattern for heroic verse; so in the appropriate time, like during the period of "imposed war against Iran", the unconscious collective of poets of war poem helped them to use these kind of patterns, this, testifies the influence of Shahname on war poems in modern time in Iran. Defining the importance of Shahnameh, in the aspect of "NATIONAL UNITY", especially in the period of "imposed war"; is the first aim of this research. And revealing the honors of Iranian warriors to maintain the integrity and elegance of Iran is the next purpose of this paper. Also, defining other features of Epic and War poem; and other similarities and differences between them are the basic discussion in this research.

Abstract:

The article provides a critical assessment of the more recent literature that relies on theoretical frameworks such as post modernism and globalization to deal with NATIONAL identity, ethnicity and cultural mobility. Explaining sensitive and complicated issues such as identity requires the extensive use of the native historical, cultural and sociological sources related to the Iranian experience in the past rather than extracting generalizations based on a general and a-historical application of general social science theories. Three factors throughout Iranian history have played significant roles in creating a sense of NATIONAL identity or Iranian-ness among all groups in Iranian society. These factors are the legacy of ancient Iran’s political heritage, the central role of the Persian language in conveying the political, cultural and religious legacy to all Iranian religious and linguistic groups, and the important role of religion in the revival of Iran’s cultural heritage, its independence, and unification.

Abstract:

Due to its unique natural, geographical and political situation, Iran has passed through numerous events since the dawn of the history. However, what has preserved the country from the widespread invasions is, actually, their NATIONAL identity. Such a NATIONAL identity has developed and manifested itself in the Persian language. This language has been always playing a unique role in the sustainability of the Iranian nation as well as their NATIONAL identity. This language was always doing so, both at the time when Cyrus and Darius had their orders and statements carved on the mountains and columns, and at the time when the great Ferdowsi wrote his epical poems in Persian so as to strengthen the NATIONAL and cultural interests and to display the self-awareness of the Iranians. In fact, Persian is like a visible and invisible circle welding the Iranian NATIONAL identity with its different ethnic groups, and keeps playing the key role in maintaining Iranians NATIONAL UNITY.In the present paper, the writer will point out the role of great Persian poets, some of whom are non-native speakers of Persian, in maintaining and preserving such valuable heritage, as well as their efforts to preserve the Iranian identity in general and Persian language in particular.

Abstract:

An important function of Archaeology is the reconstruction of the nation's past lives, while it could also function as a main approach in establishing NATIONAL UNITY in different societies. Nowadays, this approach, which due to interdisciplinary studies has developed, is extremely useful in societies with different ethnicities. It should be stated that as this approach could be useful for NATIONAL UNITY of different societies, while it also could cause ethnic conflicts. In fact, the application how-to for this approach has given it such important; however this importance has not yet been conceived in our country. Proper utilization of this approach could set it useful; in contrary, misuse could cause for conflict and disunion. The main question of this paper is whether cultural unification and NATIONAL UNITY exist in Sistan and Baluchestan Province? In attempt to answer this question, however, it is necessary to first discuss problems of NATIONAL UNITY, and then to represent logical solution for NATIONAL UNITY. Archaeology as the main approach will bridge NATIONAL UNITY between the mentioned origins. Baised on the archaeological material discovered by author of the present paper from the third millennium BC sites, such as sistes in the Bampur Valley in the Iranian Bluchestan region; and Shahr-i-sokhte in the Iranian Sistan basin, in could be stated that cultural unification and NATIONAL UNITY have their roots in third millennion Be.

Abstract:

Maintaining and strengthening NATIONAL UNITY and integrity is one of the most important priorities of all political systems, because increasing the correlation coefficient can lead to reducing internal and external threats and providing good grounds for development and progress of the country.Iran is one of the countries that by relying on its historical background and civilization can overcome on the divergence challenges, throughout centuries. So despite, the occupation of this country and abstraction of some parts of vast territory by aliens at some historical sections, in recent decades, it continued to be a powerful and independent political unit with pervasive sovereignty. NATIONAL UNITY and solidarity have been more exposed to domestic challenges and external threats and among them, the most important domestic challenge is the activation of some social gaps at some profiles of time. This article inevitably focuses on the role of external threats in weakening NATIONAL UNITY on domestic factors and tries to investigate the ratio of four major social gap in Iran (generation gap, gender, ethnic and religious gap)with different dimensions of NATIONAL UNITY ( religious, territorial, political, cultural, social dimensions). The used method in this article is secondary analysis method of research findings and studied period is between 2001-2011. The obtained results show that in this time period, there is no serious disagreement between two ends of spectrums oriented to social gaps about the various aspects of NATIONAL UNITY and NATIONAL convergence in Iran has benefited from a good level.
