Abstract:

Magnetotherapy is a complementary therapeutic approach. It acts by applying the MAGNETIC FIELD and facilitates the improvement of the process. Infertility is one of the major clinical problems that affects about 10-15% of the world's population. Infertility in men accounts for about 40 to 50 percent. Sperm stimulation is one of the important parameters in male fertility. The aim of this study was to maintain the sperm motility using a moderate intensity of static MAGNETIC FIELD. Materials and Methods: After initial studies, 90 male samples with normal sperm specimens were collected. Each sample was divided into two parts, one specimen under the intensity of the MAGNETIC FIELD and one sample outside the MAGNETIC range and both inside the incubator at1, 3 and 5 h intervals in the center of the static MAGNETIC FIELD. The total sperm motility was determined by Casa software. Data was analyzed using SPSS software (version 16) and t-test. Conclusion: Static MAGNETIC FIELD can affect human sperm motility. The results of this experiment showed that the MAGNETIC FIELD, after 5 hours, could keep the sperm from moving outside the FIELD.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Some ill or premature neonates require special care nursery and maintenance of environmental conditions through incubator. Incubator electric system exposes the premature infants to electroMAGNETIC radiation. Given the fact that MAGNETIC radiation is one of the causative agents of leukemia in children, in this study, we aimed to evaluate the intensity of the MAGNETIC FIELD generated by incubators.METHODS: In this cross-sectional study, we measured the intensity of MAGNETIC FIELD produced by 17 incubators utilized in our neonatal intensive care units (NICU), using a teslameter. In each of the incubators, five points were determined to measure the intensity of the MAGNETIC FIELD. Measurements were performed twice (during two weeks between 10 and 12 am), in both horizontal and vertical directions.FINDINGS: The mean intensity of the MAGNETIC FIELD measured at all points inside the incubators was 0.2±0.03 mT. The intensity of MAGNETIC FIELD at a point inside the incubators (0.27±0.03 mT), measured in both horizontal and vertical directions, was significantly different from a point outside the incubators (p<0.04).CONCLUSION: At some points inside the incubators, the intensity of MAGNETIC FIELD increases by switching the heater on. Hence, minimizing the length of neonatal incubation period is recommended.

Abstract:

In this paper, the behavior of the MAGNETIC swimmers has been simulated in the presence of an external MAGNETIC FIELD. The studied system is formed of spherical self-propelled particles that have MAGNETIC properties and are suspended in a box. We have applied a homogeneous MAGNETIC FIELD with circular symmetry. The particle-toparticle, particle-to-wall, and bipolar-bipolar interactions have been ignored. The motion of particles has been described by the Langevin equation, and the Fokker-Planck equation has been used for the expression of the evolution of the probability density distribution function. In the steady-state, solving these equations shows the collective behavior of these MAGNETIC particles. In the absence of an external MAGNETIC FIELD, these particles are smoothly distributed in the box. The motion of particles has been controlled by an external MAGNETIC FIELD. Applying an externally homogeneous MAGNETIC FIELD, these particles are concentrated at boundaries. If the MAGNETIC FIELD is an exponential function of distance, particles will collect in the middle of the box. This type of research has applications in targeted drug delivery to damaged tissues and the separation of MAGNETIC particles.

Abstract:

Background and Objective: Radiotherapy in one of the mainmethods of tumor treatment and control. Today, the integratedradiation therapy-MRI systems have been developed. The MAGNETICFIELDs of imaging systems can have effects on dose distribution intarget volume. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigatethe effect of MAGNETIC FIELDs on dose distribution in radiationtherapy. Materials and Methods: This is a review article which was donethrough searching the google scholar and PubMed data bases byexpressions: radiation therapy and MAGNETIC FIELD photon therapyand MAGNETIC FIELD, electron therapy and MAGNETIC FIELD, protontherapy and MAGNETIC FIELD. Related research papers were sortedand their results were summarized. Results: MAGNETIC FIELDs can change the path of charged particlesin the medium can enforce the primary charged particles, secondaryelectrons and positrons to experience a spiral path, if appliedperpendicular to beam axes which leads to produce a peak dose. Longitudinal MAGNETIC FIELD decreases the penumbra and lateraldeflection of electrons. Conclusion: MAGNETIC FIELDs influence the dose distribution inradiotherapy and modification of treatment plan is essential whenapplying integrated MRI-radiation therapy systems. Also, applyingan intensity controlled transverse MAGNETIC FIELD can be aninexpensive approach to adjusting the maximum dose of chargedparticles in tumor volume while protecting normal tissues.

Abstract:

The knowledge related to the methodology of the FIELD trial study as a type of intervention studies, yet for many of our researchers is not fully understood. The aim of the current study was a better understanding of conducting this type of research. FIELD trial studies are done on healthy individuals and aim to prevent. These types of studies such as clinical trials are performed on both individual and collective levels. One type of these studies is Community Intervention Trial which is usually done on a large scale population. FIELD trial study should be carried out in stages, such as the formulation of hypotheses, selection of the population (reference population, study population, and sampling), measuring the baseline variables (before conducting preventive intervention), random allocation of subjects to intervention and control groups, doing interventions and measuring outcome. The methodology of FIELD trial studies is very similar to clinical trials. The difference is that FIELD trials are conducted on healthy individuals and aim to prevent and also the sample size required to this type of study is relatively more, and these studies are usually time consuming and costly.

Abstract:

In this work, we review the formalism which would allow us to model MAGNETICally deformed neutron stars. We study the e ect of di erent MAGNETIC eld con gurations on the equation of state (EoS) and the structure of such stars. For this aim, the EoS of magnetars is acquired by using the lowest order constraint varia-tional (LOCV) method and employing the AV18 potential. We show how the MAGNETIC eld varies from the surface to the center of neutron star by using various exponential and polynomial pro les and compare their results. In addition, global properties of neutron stars are obtained within two formalisms. The rst formalism is described by considering the pressure into two directions and the deformation of neutron stars is governed by anisotropies in the equation of state. The second formalism for in-vestigating macroscopic properties of magnetars is gained by treating the nonuniform pressure as a perturbation to the total pressure and expanding metric and pressure up to the quadrupole term in spherical harmonics. Afterwards, we include three nucleon interactions (TNI) to the EoS and apply this model to represent our results for both exponential and polynomial MAGNETIC eld pro les. The maximum gravitational mass is obtained in the range of (1. 71-1. 80) M and (2. 13-2. 19) M for the EoS without and with TNI contribution, respectively.

Abstract:

The need for mirror-finished surfaces has grown rapidly in recent years. This is due to improvements of new products application in high technology industries. New requirements urge new production methods. One of which, in the FIELD of machining technology, is MAGNETIC Abrasive Finishing. This results in surface roughness of materials in the order of sub-micron and nano level. The technology is based on the MAGNETIC FIELD force, which is exerted on the abrasive powder and runs the powder tool on the surface of work piece. The process was applied to flat planes. A special apparatus was designed and made for implementation of experiments. Many properties of different factors affecting this process were examined and their influence on the surface roughness was cleared.

Abstract:

The Zionist state of Israel , that was fabricated as an agent state in the Middle East, after its defeats in 33 Days War of Lebanon and 22 Days War of Ghazza, has been faced with serious challenges in American society . The question that has been raised is that why the US, in the face of Israel’s failure to attain its objects in the region, steal decisively defend this regime? In response to this question, the scholars refer to the triangle of the conservatives, American Jews and Christian Zionists as the main source of American support of the state of Israel. This writing, supposing the Iranian scholars’ awareness of the role of the first two in this regard, attempts to study the functioning of Christian Zionism in America’s internal and external politics and to examine the activities of certain most important Christian Zionist organizations in the US.
