This paper deals with the propagation of magneto-thermo Rayleigh waves in a HOMOGENEOUS viscoelastic half-SPACE under initial stress. It has been observed that velocity of Rayleigh waves depends on viscosity, magnetic field, temperature and initial stress of the half-SPACE. The frequency equation for Rayleigh waves under the effect of magnetic field, stress and temperature for both viscoelastic and elastic medium is first obtained by using classical theory of thermoelasticity and then computed numerically. The variation of phase velocity of Rayleigh waves with respect to initial hydrostatic stress in viscoelastic and elastic half-SPACE is shown graphically. In the absence of various parameters of the medium, the obtained results are in agreement with classical results given by Caloi and Lockett.

In this paper, we consider a D-dimensional fractional Schrodinger equation with a Coulomb potential. By using the associated Laguerre and Jacobi equations, we obtain the wave function and energy spectrum and this then enable us to separate this equation in terms of the radial and angular momentum parts respectively. Also, the associated Laguerre and Jacobi equations makes it possible to further factorize the D-dimensional fractional Schrodinger equation such that the resulting equations can be expressed in terms of the first order operators which are basically raising and lowering operators.

In this paper we study generalized symmetric Berwald SPACEs. We show that if a Berwald SPACE (M, F) admits a parallel s-structure then it is locally symmetric. For a complete Berwald SPACE which admits a parallel s-structure we show that if the flag curvature of (M, F) is everywhere nonzero, then F is Riemannian.

A non-interactive (t; n)-publicly veri able secret sharing scheme (non-interactive (t; n)-PVSS scheme) is a (t; n)-secret sharing scheme in which anyone, not only the participants of the scheme, can verify the correctness of the produced shares without interacting with the dealer and participants. The (t; n)-PVSS schemes have found a lot of applications in cryptography because they are suitable for real-life scenarios in which an external veri er is required to check the correctness of the produced shares without interacting with the dealer and participants. In this paper, we propose a non-interactive (t; n)-PVSS scheme using the non-HOMOGENEOUS linear recursions (NHLRs), and prove its security with a formal method. We compare the computational complexity of our scheme with that of Schoenmakers's scheme and show that our non-interactive (t; n)-PVSS scheme runs faster than Schoenmakers's scheme when n  5 and n  t  d 2n+9 n e. The communicational complexity of our scheme is almost equal to that of Schoenmakers's scheme.

Let G be a locally compact Hausdorff topological group and H be a compact subgroup of G. Then, the HOMOGENEOUS SPACE G/H possesses a specific Radon measure, which is called a relatively invariant measure. We show that the concepts of convolution and involution can be extended to the integrable functions defined on this HOMOGENEOUS SPACE. We study the properties of convolution and prove that the SPACE of integrable functions is an involutive Banach algebra with an approximate identity. We also find a necessary and sufficient condition on a closed subSPACE of this Banach algebra to make it a left ideal.
