Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this applied research is to study the Effectiveness of gamification on corporate training.  Methodology: A gamified course was designed and implemented to train the location of Fire Hosing Cabinet for 24 employees of a firefighting maintenance company in Iran Mall shopping Center in Tehran. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental research plan (post-test only control group design) the participants of the study were randomly assigned to treatment (12) and control (12) groups and trained for a week.  Conclusion: The descriptive and interpretive result of the posttest analyses indicated the Effectiveness of gamification of the training performed for the employees of the firefighting maintenance company in Iran Mall shopping Center in Tehran. Moreover, the descriptive result of Gamification Acceptance Questionnaire answered by the members of the experimental group after gamified training indicated that all the participants in the experimental group were satisfied with the gamified training course.

Abstract: 

Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of effective school-based self-control skill training on increasing psychological hardiness and self-efficacy of male students of the first secondary level.Method: This research is a semi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the present study included male students of the first secondary school in Qom city, 30 students were selected using the available sampling method and divided into two groups of 15 people completely randomly. Students in the experimental group participated in 8 sessions of the school-based self-control training program, and the control group did not receive training. Before and after the implementation of the intervention, both groups were evaluated using the psychological hardiness scale of Lang and Goulet (2003) and the self-efficacy scale of children and adolescents (SEQ-C). The data was analyzed using spss-22 software and through repeated measures analysis of variance test.Findings: The results showed that school-based self-control skill training has a significant effect on increasing students' psychological hardiness and self-efficacy (P<0.01). Conclusion: The findings of the present study indicated that school-based self-control skill training can be an effective intervention in increasing psychological hardiness and self-efficacy in students.

Abstract: 

The current research was conducted with the aim of determining the Effectiveness of training courses held for teachers based on the Kirkpatrick model. The research population is all the people who participated in the mentioned training courses and finally, 123 people who participated in the courses during 2013-2014 were selected as a sample through simple random sampling method. This research is descriptive in terms of data collection, practical in terms of purpose, and evaluation in terms of function. To collect information in the first level, the reaction level evaluation form was used, and in the second and third levels, a questionnaire was used to evaluate learning and behavior. One-sample t-test was used to analyze the obtained data. The findings of the research indicated that there was no optimal Effectiveness in all four levels of reaction, learning, behavior and results, and the main reasons for this were the failure to conduct a needs assessment for the mentioned courses, and the lack of mastery of the professors of the courses. The content and method of teaching, lack of attention and correct criteria to attract the professors of the courses, lack of motivation in the teachers to participate effectively in the courses and attend only to receive certificates and degrees, and lack of attention to useful and practical content in the courses.

Abstract: 

This research was carried out with the purpose of determining the Effectiveness of the self-knowledge educational package based on the theory of existentialism on the illogical beliefs of communication on people. The statistical population included all married people who referred to counseling and psychological centers in Tehran's 1st and 3rd districts with marital problems. In the current research, experimental research method of quasi-experimental type of pre-test and post-test design with control group was used. In the research sample, 16 people who had a high level of irrational beliefs were selected voluntarily based on the answers to the voluntary questionnaire of counseling centers, and 8 people were randomly replaced in the experimental and control groups. The data collection tool was Adilson and Epstein's communication irrational beliefs questionnaire, which was conducted with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group and 12 data collection training sessions. Multivariate analysis of covariance or MANOVA method was used for data analysis. The results of the analysis of covariance in the Mankva text showed that in the main hypothesis, the analysis of covariance in the variable of couples' irrational beliefs (sig=0.02, F=6.059) is significant. The results of the sub-hypotheses also showed that the analysis of covariance in the variable of destructiveness, belief in the changeability of the spouse, belief in mind reading, belief in sexual perfectionism and sexual differences of couples is significant. the self-knowledge education based on the existentialism approach is effective on the irrational beliefs of married people.

Abstract: 

2Background and purpose: Kidney transplantation is still the most important and main treatment for advanced kidney failure. However, some patients reject the transplant through an immune system reaction. Improvement of immunosuppression with drugs such as rituximab and bortezomib allows these patients to be eligible for transplantation. This study aims to determine the cost-Effectiveness of rituximab versus bortezomib in kidney transplant patients at Farhikhtegan Hospital, Tehran. Materials and methods: The target statistical population in this research was inpatients receiving rituximab and bortezomib in 2022 in Farhikhtegan Hospital. Rituximab with a minimum dose of 375 mg/m2 was administered one day before transplantation. Bortezomib was administered at a dose of 1.3 mg/m2 on four occasions (usually days 1, 4, 8, and 11). The indicators related to the calculation of the cost of the disease and the parameters indicating the Effectiveness were determined through library studies and interviews with experts, and finally, the aforementioned information was collected through the examination of the patient's records (hospital database). Cost indicators include the cost of a physician visit (first day, second day, general practitioner, emergency department, discharge day), medicine (main medicine, complementary medicine), hospital hoteling (nursing services, consumables, bed, radiology, ECG, critical care, physiotherapy, preparation of nutrition formulary, examination, and burial permit) and tests (all tests necessary to evaluate and monitor the patient). Efficacy indices included IgG class I, IgG class II, IgM class I, and IgM class II. The data analysis was conducted by SPSS software. Results: 77 kidney transplant patients including 53 treated with bortezomib and 24 receiving rituximab with an average age of 41.01±8.50 years were studied. Our findings showed that the average cost of the bortezomib group was 19,548,230.86 tomans. Before taking bortezomib, the average level of class I and class II IgG was 68.16±6.34 and 67.11±4.96, respectively, which significantly decreased to 17.28±15.73 and 18.13±16.75 after treatment with bortezomib (P=0.000). The average IgM class I and class II before taking medicine were 5.69±1.30 and 5.54±0.95, respectively, which reached 5.43±0.79 and 5.13±0.39 after taking Bortezomib, respectively. This decrease was significant for IgM class II (P=0.000), but not significant for IgM class I (P=0.223). In patients receiving rituximab, before taking the drug, the average level of class I and class II IgG was 71.66±7.86 and 67.83±4.53, respectively, which significantly decreased to 13.95±13.82 and 15.83±14.15 after treatment with rituximab (P=0.000). The average IgM class I and class II before taking rituximab was 5.70±1.23 and 5.45±0.97, respectively, after taking the drug, it decreased to 5.41±0.65 and 5.16±0.38, respectively, and this decrease was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The average cost of the rituximab group was 28,261,539.29 Tomans and caused a significant decrease in the average level of IgG class I and II. The incremental cost-Effectiveness rate (ICER) was 1770997.65, which was lower than the threshold defined by WHO. Conclusion: The results of our study showed that rituximab is cost-effective compared to bortezomib

Abstract: 

Curriculum as a learning map should have led to a change in behavior, and creates a set of knowledge, thinking, attitudes, values and skills in the person. Empowering university for scanning a meaningful and constructive campaign in various evolved future requires the design and implementation of effective programs, hence a major fundamentalchange in the education system in particular as well as society in general should be created. Recognizing the importance of curriculum Effectiveness in higher education to achieve the ultimate goals, missions and visions of university; and regarding to the integrity of three-dimensional perspective of internal, external and institutional of Effectiveness; and due to its applicability to measuring the Effectiveness of the curriculum in higher education for better and more comprehensive understanding of curriculum; the present study examined three aspects of the Effectiveness of the curriculum in interdisciplinary higher education. Regarding the Effectiveness of the curriculum from the three dimensions of internal, external and institutional, it can provide coherent framework for achieving the essential goals of educational program. The result of study showed that creating a balance and coherence between the internal factors as well as creating harmony and balance between the intended, implemented and achieved curriculum in relation to the environment, in addition to communicate effectively with dynamic and evolved environment (External Effectiveness), consequently, the achievement of missions and fundamental desirability in medical education curriculum (institutional Effectiveness) interacting with each other have been observed an absolute necessity.

Abstract: 

Background: Medical advances, improved health status, and increased longevity have led to increased elderly in the society; therefore, the role of rehabilitation centers in the service industry has grown considerably in the two past decades.Methods: The studies compared types of rehabilitation centers for the treatment of patients with motor or perception disability and other methods commonly used in rehabilitation, in terms of functional outcomes, Barthel index, and cost-Effectiveness, were evaluated. The Cochrane, CRD (Centre for Reviews and Dissemination), Scopus, and Google scholar databases were searched until June 2012.Results were analyzed using qualitative method.Findings: According to 15 included articles, the Barthel index scores in patients with an inpatient rehabilitation (42±29 points) were more than outpatient rehabilitation (26±23 points) (P<0.050).For inpatient centers, early rehabilitation led to the rapid acquisition of functional abilities than outpatient centers (1.55 vs.0.50). Regarding to cost-Effectiveness of heart diseases, the adjusted cost difference between outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation was about-2895 Euro (P=0.102); adjusted effect difference was about 0.018 QALY (Quality-adjusted life year) in favor of outpatients rehabilitation, too.Conclusion: With regard to the potential of rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics in day clinics, the establishment of rehabilitation centers was not cost-effective. So, it is proposed to provide services to disabled patients in “rehabilitation units” established in specialized hospitals.

Abstract: 

The attention to servant leadership has increased in the recent years and different kinds of business, profit, educational and even governmental organizations have used servant leadership principles for managing their organizations. But doubts have been raised in regard to the Effectiveness of implementing servant leadership for organizational Effectiveness, especially, in governmental organizations. In the light of mixing Iranian culture with the goals of servantitude and importance of the topic, this article is concerned to test the effect of servant leadership on organizational Effectiveness of Iranian governmental organizations through the two ways of leadership and followership Effectiveness. For this purpose, after problem statement and reviewing the literature, the factors and the variables of theoretical research model was recognized and the respected questions were distributed among the managers and employees of 22 Iranian public organizations. T- student test was employed for examining the whole status of research dimensions.For testing the hypotheses, statistical tests of regression and Spearman correlation were employed. In examininig the relation between research dimensions, all of the relationships under study were verified. But the low score obtained for the mean of servant Leadership Measuring Instrument (OLA) in comparison to average mean explained that servant leadership is exercised weakly in Iranian public organizations while paternalistic leadership dominated them. Also the weak relationship of realization of organizational Effectiveness through servant leadership - followership Effectiveness denotes the lack of necessary attention to the followers and their role in organizational Effectiveness. Finally, some suggestions are offered according to the results.
