Abstract: 

The present research studied the (causal, contextual, and intervening) conditions, strategies, and consequences of violence in the lives of child wives in Chabahar city, conducted with a qualitative methodology based on grounded theory. For this purpose, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with 28 child-married girls in Chabahar city who were selected through theoretical sampling and snowball method. The analysis of the data in the framework of the three-level open, axial and selective coding system showed that gendered inequality and discrimination, women's inferiority, men's value, the culture of silence and the culture of violence play a role in the experience of child-wives in terms of violence (causal conditions), which leads to a type of increased, double violence for them (core category); violence that operates within the framework of the family institution, the main mechanism of which are previous traditions and rules, and the perpetrators of which are men and women who were themselves the victims of the same traditions and rules that they have, now, internalized and used again against their daughters. This increased violence happens in a context where patriarchy is widespread (contextual conditions) and due to the generalized self-deprecation among child wives (intervening conditions), they may attempt to escape, get separated, threaten, and commit suicide (strategies), and these actions have consequences such as symbolic, physical, and sexual violence and even social isolation (consequences).

Abstract: 

Regarding different and beautiful geological features, Chabahar is one of the most important geotouristic sites in Iran. The attractive geological landforms are so spectacular that always attract a lot of tourists to the area. Some of the important geomorphological features are mud-volcano, ties cave, Mars land, cliff, lagoons, sand dune, erosion columns, bedding and etc. These geomorphologic features are introduced in details as follow.

Abstract: 

Development of modern energies is one of the most important issues that all countries have focused on and have tried to find a new model in that respect. One of the greatest energy-resources in the world is oceans and tidal currents are one of the specific indicators of oceanic current.The movement of oceans waters caused by tidal current has a great deal of energy. On the other hand, development of new energies causes to search new plan in all countries. In this study, the potential energy obtained from daily, monthly and eventually annually average of 18-years (1990-2007) tidal range difference data in the Chabahar station. The average of tidal range was 2.09 m. The average energy estimated to be 5.5 w/m2 and the average power estimated to be 0.44 w/m2. According to the obtained results, producible energy of tidal currents in Chabahar is very low and it has no economic importance.

Abstract: 

Since the signing of the tripartite agreement between Iran, Afghanistan and India on the development of cooperation on the Cahabar port, the assumption that the development of the port is in conflict with the Gwadar port has been widely discussed. In this paper, the development projects of the Chabahar and Gwadar ports are compared within the framework of regional integration theories. The key question is, what are the aims and positions of the host in the development process of the two ports of Chabahar and Gwadar, and what impact will the pattern of Iran-Pakistan relations have on the future cooperation of these two ports? The hypothesis is that in the current analysis of the Chabahar and Gwadar ports, the role of China and India has been cited as the only independent and influential variable, and the role of host countries such as Iran and Pakistan has received less attention; While the competition or cooperation between the two ports is largely influenced by the dynamics of the relationship between Iran and Pakistan. By incorporating the Iran-Pakistan relationship in analyzing the relationship between the Chabahar and Gwadar ports, different results show the capacity of cooperation between these ports. The research method of this article is qualitative with emphasis on documentary studies.

Abstract: 

The location of Chabahar coastal areas on the development circuit requires knowledge of the environmental characteristics of this area for comprehensive planning. The genealogy of flood risk is very important for executives in planning and preparing the coast. One of the main drivers of floods on rainforest shores is that by identifying its behavior, floods can be managed Precipitation is one of the most variability climatic elements that it has complex behavior, spatially in arid and semi-arid arias. Therefore investigation of precipitation characteristics in a region has significant effects on the environmental planning. The recognition of precipitation characteristics of a region, its monthly and seasonal distributions, intensity, duration and amounts can result to determine the different types of precipitations patterns in a region. In this paper by using the daily precipitation data of Chabehar synoptic station (during 1985-2013) 280 rainy days from total days (4817 days) was obtainedFinally by applying a cluster analysis on the 183 rainy clusters in a 183*4 matrix, five patterns of precipitation types was recognized and the characteristics of these types were analyzed.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, the free zones have been considered as a pervasive phenomenon and a tool for the realization of outward oriented development strategies with emphasis on export promotion policy. So that, most developing countries have attempted to build one or more free zones.The goals of creating these areas are providing suitable conditions to increase production and export of industrial goods through foreign investment, creating jobs, earning foreign exchange, growth in economic welfare of areas and preserving national interests. This study aimed to analyze the effects of Chabaharfree industrial trade zone on the physical and economic development of Chabahar city.The research method is descriptive-analytic. Data collection was carried out in documentary and field ways. The participants of the research are the citizens of Chabahar city and the sample size is 321 households reached through Cochrane method. The validity of the research (questionnaire) was confirmed by using the experts’ point of view, and its reliability was confirmed through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient equal to 0.97.At the first step, questionnaire data analysis were conducted in SPSS software by using T test of two dependent samples and Friedman test. The results showed that Chabahar citizens’ views on the Likert scale compared to the physical and economic of Chabahar city before and after creating Chabahar free industrial trade zone has improved with the average of 2.4 to 3.8 in physical expansion, from 2.04 to 3.01in urban services, from 1.9 to 3.2 in employment and income.

HEAT BUDGET IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS IN PHYSICAL STUDY OF SEAS AND OCEANS. DUE TO ITS EFFECT ON ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND LEVELING MARINE STRUCTURES AS WELL AS SEA WATER LEVEL, STUDY OF HEAT BUDGET HAS OF A GREAT IMPORTANCE. STUDYING VARIOUS PARAMETERS INCLUDING THE SUNSHINE ANGEL, CLOUDINESS OF THE SKY, ALBEDO OF WATER SURFACE, AIR SPECIAL HUMIDITY, ATMOSPHERE STRUCTURE, SHORTWAVE SUNSHINE, NET SUNSHINE WITH LONG-WAVE, SENSIBLE HEAT TRANSFER, EVAPORATION HEAT TRANSFER, HEAT TRANSFER BY OCEANIC STREAMS AND RAINING, WIND SPEED, AND LOCAL DIMENSIONLESS (SENSIBLE AND LATENT HEAT FLUX COEFFICIENT), THIS STUDY HAS CALCULATED THE HEAT BUDGET FLUX IN THE BAY ON THE BASIS OF DATA OBTAINED FROM IRANIAN METEOROLOGICAL ORGANIZATION AND THE MOST RECENT FORMULATIONS. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT IN THE YEAR OF 2005, Chabahar BAY SAW THE SHORT-WAVE RADIATION FLUX OF (+227.56 W/M2), NET LONG-WAVE FLUX OF (-59.91 W/M2), INSENSIBLE EVAPORATION HEAT FLUX OF (-112.16 W/M2), AND SENSIBLE HEAT FLUX OF (-8.00W/M2). CONSIDERING THE ABOVE MENTIONED PARAMETERS, HEAT BUDGET FLUX IN THIS BAY IS EQUALS TO (+47.49 W/M2). IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE HEAT BALANCE, IT IS REQUIRED THAT SUCH HEAT FLUX EXIT FROM THE BAY THROUGH WATER EXCHANGE BETWEEN OMAN SEA AND Chabahar BAY AS WELL AS RAINING.

Abstract: 

Background: Pregnancy can affect the prevalence of domestic violence during this period for various reasons, such as decreased sexual intercourse, misconceptions, and abnormal feelings about pregnancy. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the severity and frequency of domestic violence among pregnant women in Chabahar. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 400 pregnantwomenreferred to health centers in Chabahar, southeast Iran. The Dispute Resolution Measures Questionnaire collected the data. The ANOVA test, t test and logistic regression was used to analyze the data. Data were entered into the computer using SPSS version 16 software. Results: Overall, 3. 5% of women experienced very mild violence, 13. 5% mild violence, and 83% moderate violence during pregnancy by their husbands. There was a significant relationship between total violence and pregnant women’, s and husbands’,education (P < 0. 05). Also, elementary literacy of pregnant women (OR = 4. 7, P = 0. 001) and husbands (OR = 6. 2, P = 0. 001) increased the likelihood of domestic violence among pregnant women. Conclusions: Due to the relatively high rate of moderate domestic violence, health promotion interventions, such as educating men about various dimensions of violence and its negative impact on the family, creating a culture to strengthen the status and human values of women, and holding training sessions for married men, can help reduce violence during pregnancy.

Abstract: 

Chabahar Bay is a semi-closed and shallow bay in southeastern of Iran and is strongly affected by the monsoon conditions. The 3D FVCOM model was used to study the hydrodynamic conditions of Chabahar Bay. For this purpose, a horizontal grid with 6290 triangular elements and a vertical grid with 10 sigma layers were created. The model was implemented in baroclinic mode; NCEP data and HYCOM model outputs were used to account for open surface and boundary layer forces. Water level and flow velocity correlations show acceptable agreement with field data. The tidal bay is often semi-daily and mixed and the tidal range is 2. 7 m. The flushing time of Chabahar Bay was calculated to be 6. 7 days. The modeling results show; The vertically and annual average current velocity is 0. 1 m/s and the rotation pattern is often anticyclonic.
