Abstract:

The submission of useful and methodical research papers is subject to the strict observance of common rules and criteria, the violation of which leads to the production of defective and undesirable research works. Criticism of writings that have been provided without considering the accepted scientific criteria in writing research articles and revealing their errors and shortcomings undoubtedly has an effect on improving the quality of research and writings of the researchers. Therefore, in the present article, by reviewing a number of writings by one of the prolific authors, some of the anomalous research methods and sources in writing scientific articles are evaluated and criticized, including, large ADAPTATIONs of the works of other researchers and combining authorship and translation, vague and inaccurate citations and plagiarism due to improper citations, recycling of previously published material in new articles or self-citations, repeated republishing of an article or book in various forms (essay making and bookmaking), providing inaccurate translations and applying excessive free translation; having Improper role of authorship for himself in providing research works and ignoring the rights of the original owners of ideas, as well as disorganized composition and hasty writing with immature and inadequate style.

Abstract:

Human beings are constantly interacting with their surrounding environment. This interaction tends to adapt the surrounding environment to human inner context (culture) and eliminate undesirable environmental tensions. As an important and specific component of culture, ‘Lifestyle’ plays an important role in human and environmental ADAPTATION. “Lifestyle” has number of manifest and hidden aspects that influence the built environment and constantly change it. Based on the concept of “affordance” and “meaning”, this study describes the “human and environment ADAPTATION” through the analysis of Qashqai dwellings. The theoretical framework of this study is based on ‘Environmental ADAPTATION to human lifestyle’. The ADAPTATION of human and environment happens under the influence of values, human mental meanings and affordances. In order to study human and environmental ADAPTATION aspects, the structure of the built and natural environment, the structure of lifestyle, and finally the structure of meanings have been analyzed. Human and environment ADAPTATION is a creative issue, with affordance-meaning continuous ADAPTATION as its central component. Changes in the Built environment are reflections of the continuous evaluation and ADAPTATION of affordance-meaning. The findings, in addition to providing a theoretical structure for studies of man-environment relation and introducing human and environmental ADAPTATION properties, help to understand why people form their environments and dwellings in a particular fashion.

Abstract:

The article investigates different forms of acculturation (integration, ethnic, national and diffuse) and ADAPTATION (psychological and sociocultural) and their relations among Kurdish youth. The research uses survey methods. Research census is people between ages 18 and 29 in Kermanshah and Javanroud cities in Kermanshah province. To analyze the data we used a person approach (cluster analysis) and variable approach (explanatory factor analysis and path analysis). We refer to the resulting clusters as acculturation profiles: an ethnic profile (including 30% of the sample), a national profile (24.5%), an integration profile (34.5%), and a diffuse profile (11%). Path analysis results that a combined involvement in the national and the ethnic cultures is associated with more positive ADAPTATION outcomes. We found that the effect of ethnic orientation on psychological ADAPTATION was stronger than the one on sociocultural ADAPTATION. Also we found that national orientation did not have a stronger impact on sociocultural ADAPTATION than ethnic orientation.

Abstract:

Background: Mentally retarded children impose an extra stress on their parents especially on mothers. Coping skills can be used by parents to relieve stress and to improve ADAPTATION.Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the effect of teaching on social ADAPTATION in mothers of educable mentally- retarded children based on Roy ADAPTATION theory.Materials and Methods: This quasi - experimental study was carried out on 40 mothers of educable mentally retarded children referred to the exceptional school in Aran and Bidgol during 2010- 11. Intervention was consisted of four two - hour sessions, supplemented by a 30-minute conversation between the interviewer and the candidate occurred within 2 weeks.Coping skills program was based on the dimensions of Roy theory. Questionnaire on ADAPTATION was completed before and 6 weeks after the completion of intervention by the participants. Results: The mean scores for social ADAPTATION in mothers of mentally retarded children in physiological, self- concept, dependence/independence, role-playing dimensions and total social ADAPTATION before and after the training showed a significant difference (P<0.001).Conclusion: According to the results of the study, teaching based on the Roy theory has a positive effect on social ADAPTATION in mothers of mentally retarded children.

Abstract:

Background: Asthma is a common long term inflammatory disease during adolescent. Absence of school education and reduction of mental and social mindedness are among the most common problems found in adolescents with asthma. Therefore, the present study was aimed to examine the effect of Roy ADAPTATION model on controlling malADAPTATION behaviors in adolescents with asthma. Materials and Methods: This study is a semi-experimental research that was conducted with the participation of all adolescents with asthma referred to the Asthma and Allergy Clinic of Shariati Hospital. Random sampling was used for a total of 64 adolescents to have two groups of intervention and control. Data collection was through a questionnaire based on the Roy’ s ADAPTATION Model. Over six weeks, adolescents were trained in six two-hour sessions. Data were analyzed by descriptive and analytical statistics consisting of Mann-Whitney, ANOVA, paired t-test and independent t-test. Results: The mean age of adolescents with asthma in the intervention and control groups was 15. 8± 3. 5 and 14. 8± 3. 5 years, respectively. Also, the mean score of malADAPTATION behaviors in four physiological, self-concept, role-function and interdependence modes had a significant difference in intervention group before and after training (p<0. 001), but there was no significant difference in all modes before and after intervention in control group (p>0. 05). Conclusion: Given the effect of Roy ADAPTATION model on the different aspects of malADAPTATION behaviors in adolescents with asthma, it is recommended to use this model as a healthcare intervention for controlling malADAPTATION behaviors in adolescents with other chronic disease.

Abstract:

Introduction: Children's intellectual disability is a worrying factor for ADAPTATION that families face in different societies. present study with the aim of determining the impact of the impact of Roy theory on social adjustment of mothers of these children. Methods: The present study was experimental design with pre-test and post-test design and two groups (case and control) on 50 mothers of Children's intellectual disability 6-14 in Gonbad-Kavoos city in 96 years. Sampling was done randomly. The mothers were divided into two groups of intervention and control and completed the demographic and Bell( Bell adjustment questionnaires). The intervention group completed 8 training(based on the Roy theory) sessions of 45 minutes. Two months later, both groups completed the questionnaires again. Results: The mean and standard deviation of ADAPTATION in the experimental group before intervention 20. 44 ± 9. 9 and 21. 4 ± 8. 96 after intervention, the control group before intervention was 22. 64 ± 9. 12 and after intervention 23. 2 ± 7. 79. Independent t-test between two groups, before intervention, P = 0. 55 and after intervention, P = 0. 14 showed no significant difference. T-test before and after intervention in the test group (P = 0/48) and control group (P = 0/57) did not show any significant difference. The covariance test with the elimination of the pre-test effect between the intervention and control groups before and after the intervention. Mean difference Did not show any significant difference (P = 0. 16). With an Eta of 0. 04, only %0. 04 of the intervention affected. Conclusions: IN the study, the training based on the Roy theory did not effect on Social ADAPTATION of mothers of children with intellectual disability.
