In this paper we reduce the discrete logarithm problem on E[n] to the discrete logarithm on the group F*q , the multiplicative group of nonzero elements of Fq, in the case where n ï q - 1, using generalized jacobian of E.

In this article, corrosion behavior of the single-layered TiN, single-layered crn and multi-layered TiN/crn coatings have been fabricated on 420C stainless steel (SS) by Cathodic Arc Evaporation (CAE) method in Ringer's solution was studied. The electrochemical appraisal was done by the Potentiodynamic Polarization (PDP) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) tests. Results of PDP test revealed that all coated specimens have an increment in the polarization resistance (Rp) values (ranges from 438. 2 to 593. 6Ω . cm2) compared to bare SS (268. 1Ω . cm2). Corrosion rate values for bare 420C SS and crn, TiN and multi-layered TiN/crn coatings were measured 0. 086, 0. 042, 0. 050 and 0. 068mpy, respectively. Furthermore, EIS results were showed that the single-layer crn coating well depicted by an equivalent circuit with three time constants and has larger impedance and maximum logarithmic variation of C2. Finally, the corrosion performance results confirmed that single-layered crn coating is an appropriate choice for deposition on 420C SS with the aim of application in general surgical instruments.

In this investigation, physical vapor deposited Ti-Cr-N coatings were coated on tool steel substrates using reactive arc evaporation. Microstructure and mechanical properties of coatings such as roughness, thickness, phase composition, hardness, Young’s modulus and coefficient of friction were studied. Phase compositions were investigated by X-ray diffraction method. Surface microstructure and morphology were studied using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and coating compositions were determined by energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Mechanical properties were measured by nano indentation. The friction behavior of the coatings were investigated using ball-on-disc tests under normal loads of 7 N .The results showed that (Ti, Cr)N and TiN coatings consisted of only one cubic phase solid solution, while crn coatings consisted of hexagonal Cr2N and cubic crn phases. Average grain size of the coatings was found to be in the range of 14 to 20 nm. Mechanical behavior of the (Ti, Cr)N coatings was related to the Ti content, i.e. hardness decreased with decreasing Ti content.

The present paper focuses on the investigation of self-cleaning properties based on studding of water repellency and blood repellency for TiN-and crn single-layer and TiN/crn nanoscale multi-layer coatings deposited via Cathodic Arc Evaporation (CAE) method on medical grade 420C stainless steel substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD) method and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) was used to characterize microstructure. Surface roughness parameters were measured by using Taylor-Habsson method. Blood contact angle and water contact angle measurements test were applied to characterize the self-cleaning properties of the specimens. The analysis of sample data shows that coated specimens have more water contact angle values in comparison to bare steel. Among the coated samples, crn single-layer has the highest water contact angle (80° ) due to its lower surface roughness (Ra=0. 189µ m) among the other samples. Moreover, the findings of the paper prove that samples had inverse behavior against blood and water in the contact angle measurement test. Bare steel has higher blood contact angle (76. 1° ) and more blood repellency than the coated specimens. It seems that the different behavior of samples against water and blood in contact angle tests is due to the nature of two fluids. TiN/crn multi-layer coating results had minor differences in water and blood contact angle tests (67. 3° and 62. 2° respectively).

Since their introduction, Cognitive Radio Networks (crn), as a new solution to the problem of spectrum scarcity, have received great attention from the research society. An important eld in database-driven crn studies is pivoted on their security issues. A critical issue in this context is user's location privacy, which is potentially under serious threat. The query process by secondary users (SU) from the database is one of the points where the problem rises. In this paper, we propose a Privacy-Preserving Query Process (PPQP), accordingly. This method lets SUs deal in the process of spectrum query without sacri cing their location information. Analytical assessment of PPQP's privacy preservation capability shows that it preserves location privacy for SUs against di erent adversaries, with very high probability. Relatively low communicational cost is a signi cant property of our protocol.

In this paper, corrosion behavior of single and multilayer (TiN, crn and TiN/crn) deposited coatings on Ni-Cr dental alloy in artificial saliva using cathodic arc evaporation-physical vapor deposition (CAE-PVD) technique were investigated. The corrosion behavior of uncoated and coated Ni-Cr prosthetic dental alloy has been investigated electrochemically in addition to the other way represented by the quantity measurement of corrosion products which is resulted from the Ni-Cr dental alloys. Fusayama artificial saliva has been utilized as media for measuring all electrochemical behaviors. The surfaces of samples have been analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicated that the coating procedure that has applied to Ni-Cr dental alloy may change wettability by decreasing the hydrophilicity of the surface. The results indicated that the strongest hydrophobic character is exhibited by crn coating. Potentiodynamic polarization and Nyquist plots showed that crn coating had an exceptionally high polarization resistance compared to Ni-Cr dental alloy, TiN and TiN/crn coatings.

In cognitive radio networks (crn), resources available for use are usually very limited. This is generally because of the tight constraints by which the crn operate. Of all the constraints, the most critical one is the level of permissible interference to the primary users (PUs). Attempts to mitigate the limiting effects of this constraint, thus achieving higher productivity is a current research focus and in this work, cooperative diversity is investigated as a promising solution for this problem. Cooperative diversity has the capability to achieve diversity gain for wireless networks. Therefore, the possibility of and mechanism for achieving greater utility for the crn are studied when cooperative diversity is incorporated. To accomplish this, a resource allocation (RA) model is developed and analyzed for the heterogeneous, cooperative crn. In the model, during cooperation, a best relay is selected to assist the secondary users (SUs) that have poor channel conditions. Overall, the cooperation makes it feasible for virtually all the SUs to improve their transmission rates while still causing minimal harm to the PUs. The results show a marked improvement in the RA performance of the crn when cooperation is employed in contrast to when the crn operates only by direct communication.
