Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: PESTICIDES PRODUCE ADVERSE BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS THROUGH THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AND ASSOCIATED IMPURITIES (1). AGRICULTURAL WORKERS ARE AT GREATER RISK OF PESTICIDE EXPOSURE MORE THAN NON-AGRICULTURAL WORKERS (2). FEW STUDIES HAS BEENPERFORMED AMONG IRANIAN WORKERS.THIS STUDY WAS DESIGNED TO STUDY THE BIOCHEMICAL EFFECTS OF THE PESTICIDE POLLUTIONAMONG AGRICULTURAL WORKERS.METHODS: IT WAS A CASE-CONTROL CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY THAT 54 HEALTHY MALE FARMERS EXPOSEDTO DIFFERENT CLASS OF PESTICIDES FOR 3 TO 40 YEARS WERE COMPARED WITH 54 CONTROLS MATCHED FOR AGE. ...
