Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS (MTB) IS AN ACID FAST, SLOW GROWTH BACTERIA. THERE ARE DIFFERENT METHODSFOR DETECTION OF THIS BACTERIA, BUT MOLECULAR METHODS SUCH AS PCR ARE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR DETECTION OF SLOW GROWTHBACTERIA LIKE MTB. BUT DIFFERENT RESULTS IN LABORATORIES WHICH HAPPEN BECAUSE OF LACK OF STANDARD METHODS, ARE THEDISADVANTAGES OF MOLECULAR METHODS.
