Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE(S): ACTIVITIES OF HUMAN INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF FERTILIZERS RICH IN PHOSPHATE TO THE SOIL AND THE USE OF DETERGENTS CONTAINING PHOSPHATES, INCREASE NATURAL PHOSPHATE LEVELS. WHEN THE INPUT OF PHOSPHORUS INTO WATER IS HIGHER THAN THE DEMAND; THE PROBLEM OF WATER POLLUTION IS CREATED. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO INVESTIGATE EFFECTS OF MAGNETIC IRON OXIDE NANOPARTICLES COATED WITH POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON (PAC-FE3O4) FOR THE REMOVAL OF PHOSPHATE. ...
