Abstract

BACKGROUND AND AIM: PSEUDOMONASAERUGINOSA IS ONE OF THE COMMON PATHOGENIC CAUSES OF OPPORTUNISTIC INFECTIONS IN HUMAN. NOWADAYS, NUMEROUS STUDIES REPORTED THAT INFECTION WITH THIS ORGANISM IS LIFE THREATENING SINCE TREATMENT OF CLINICAL SAMPLES IS DIFFICULT BECAUSE OF THEIR VIRULENCE FACTORS AND RESISTANCE TO ANTIBIOTICS. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO DETERMINE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE PREVALENCE OF VIRULENCE FACTORS, LASB, LASA AND ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE IN P. AERUGINOSA ISOLATED FROM HOSPITALIZED PATIENTS.
