Abstract

 THE FIRST STEP OF ANY CONTAMINATED MANAGEMENT STRATEGY, BEFORE APPLYING ANY OF THE AVAILABLE REMEDIATION TECHNIQUES, IS THE CONTAMINANT SOURCE CONTROL OR ELIMINATION. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO INVESTIGATE APPROPRIATE METHODS OF PREVENTING AND REDUCING THE ENTRANCE OF POLLUTANTS SUCH AS, NUTRIENT AND ORGANIC POLLUTANT IN TO RIVERS TREATMENT BLOCK, FLOATING ISLAND AND RIVER QUALITY RESTORATION THROUGH PHYSICAL, CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIONS ARE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT METHODS THAT CAN BE POINTED OUT. DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF ORGANIC AND INORGANIC POLLUTANTS IN MOST OF THE RIVERS, THE CAPACITY OF THE RIVER SELF-PURIFICATION CAN BE USED AS AN IMPORTANT INDICATOR FOR RIVER ECOLOGICAL COMPLEXITY. THE SAMPLES OF AQUATIC PLANTS THAT LEAD TO DECREASES IN ORGANIC POLLUTANTS SUCH AS TN AND TP WERE RESEARCHED. USE OF TREATMENT BLOCK CAN ALSO MAKE AN AESTHETIC AREA. THIS METHOD CAN BE PRACTICABLE FROM COST EFFECTIVE AND EASILY IMPLEMENTATION ASPECT. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE IS TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW OF THE TECHNIQUES SO AS TO SELECT THE BEST METHOD FOR THE CHALUS RIVER IN MAZANDARAN, IRAN.
