THE IMPACT OF THE CRISIS POINT (STOCK POND) ON THE BIOPHYSICAL INDICATORS OF SOIL

Abstract

 IN RANGELANDS, VILLAGES, STOCK PONDS, RESTING PLACES FOR ANIMALS, SHADOWS AND ETC, ARE INCLUDING POINTS THAT IS HIGH AROUND THEM GRAZING INTENSITY. SO, RANGELANDS MANAGEMENT IS REQUIRE TO EVALUATE THESE FACTORS. THIS STUDY WAS DONE WITH THE AIM OF THE EFFECTS OF THE CRISIS POINT (STOCK POND) ON THE BIOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF SOIL SURFACE. WAS SELECTED THREE CRISIS ZONE AT INTERVALS 0-100, 100-200 AND 200- 300M AROUND EACH STOCK POND. AROUND EACH STOCK POND, THE FOUR MAIN GEOGRAPHICAL DIRECTION WAS DONE SYSTEMATIC SAMPLING FROM BIOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS (VEGETATION COVER, LITTER, ROCKS AND GRAVEL AND BARE SOIL) ALONG THETRANSECT. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT IMPACT OF STOCK POND AND STOCK POND DISTANCE WAS SIGNIFICANT BETWEEN ALL OF BIOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS EXCEPT ROCK AND GRAVEL AT THE LEVEL OF 1%, BUT IMPACT OF DRECTION, WAS SIGNIFICANT THE ONLY ON THE LITTER AND BARE SOIL PARAMETERS. ALSO THE COVER AND ROCK AND GRAVEL IN ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS, LITTER AND BARE SOIL IN SOUTH AND WEST DIRECTIONS NO DIFFERENCE EACH OTHER (P>0.1). ALL OF THE PARAMETERS WERE SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT EACH OTHER AT DIFFERENT DISTANCES (P<0.1). THE SURVEY OF PARAMETERS SHOW THAT THEM CHANGES ARE NOT MUCH AFFECTED BY THE GEOGRAPHICAL DIRECTIONS. GENERALLY, IS CONCLUSION THAT MODEL OF GRAZING GRADIENT OF AROUND STOCK PONDS IS A SIMPLE – COMPOUND MODEL. IS MEANNING, VEGETATION DECREASES TO A CERTAIN DISTANCE TO STOCK PONDS AND THEN INCREASES.
