Abstract

 FORMULATION OF BIOCONTROL AGENTS (BCA) AND THEIR INHIBITORY COMPOUNDS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS IN THE SUCCESSFUL BIOCONTROL PROJECT. THE LOW STABILITY OF BCAS, IN THE ENVIRONMENT IS ON OF THE OBSTACLER IN BIOCONTROL PROJECT .USE OF POLYMERS FOR FORMULATION OF CONTROLLED RELEASE OF BCAS OR THEIR PRODUCT COMPOUNDS CAN HELP IN THIS ISSUE. IN THIS STUDY, MESOPOROUS SILICA NANOPARTICLES WAS USED TO FORMULATE INHIBITORY COMPOUNDS PRODUCED BY BACILLUS SUBTILIS AND PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS WHICH FORMERLY HAD BEEN IDENTIFIED AS BIOCONTROL AGENTS OF SAME PHYTOPATHOGENIC AGENTS AND TWO COMMERCIALY AVAILABLE ANTIBIOTICS STREPTOMYCIN AND OXYTETRACYCLINE. EFFECTS OF THE FORMULATION WERE ASSESSED ON AGROBACTERIUM VITIS AND ERWINIAAMYLOVORA TWO PHYTOPATOGES BACTERIA. BACTERIA WERE GROWN IN LIQUID KING'S MEDIUM FOR 12 H ON MEDIUM SPEED SHAKER AND AFTER 72 H STORAGE AT 25 °C, MEDIUM WAS FILTERED AND CONCENTRATED. 30 MG OF SILICA MESOPOROUS WAS POURED IN 3CC CONCENTRATE MEDIUM CONTAINING ANTIBACTERIAL AND WAS PLACED FOR 18 HOURS AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE BY A MAGNETIC STIRRER. AFTER CENTRIFUGATION, WAS PRECIPITATED PHASE, WAS PLACED AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE TO DRY. ANTIBIOTICS LOADING WERE CONDUCTED SIMILARLY. PERFORMANCE OF MESOPOROUS SILICA NANOPARTICLES IN STORAGEAND CONTROLLED RELEASE OF INHIBITORY SUBSTANCE SINDIFFERENT EXPERIMENTAL CONDITIONS WERE EXAMINED. RESULTS SHOWED THAT THIS METHOD IS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY FORMULATE THE INHIBITORY COMPOUND SPRODUCED BY ANTAGONISTIC BACTERIA AND ANTIBIOTICS AND IS CAPABLE TO PROVIDE CONTROLLED RELEASE OF THE SECOMPOUNDS WITH ABSORBING MOISTUREIN THE ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS THE FIRST REPORT OF IRAN AND IT CANBRING GREAT RESULTS IN MORE EFFECTIVE USE OF BIOLOGICAL CONTROL AGENTS AND THEIR INHIBITORY COMPOUNDSIN NATURE.
