Abstract

LINALOOL IS A MONOTERPENE ALCOHOL WHICH IS PRESENT IN THE ESSENTIAL OILS OF SEVERAL AROMATIC PLANTS. IT SHOWS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, ANTIHYPERALGESIC AND ANTINOCICEPTIVE PROPERTIES AND POSSESSES VARIOUS BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEMS.
