Abstract

 IN THIS NOTE, WE STUDY THE STRUCTURE OF THE SET OF NILPOTENT ELEMENTS IN STRONGLY RIGHT MCCOY RINGS, INTRODUCING THE CONCEPT OF SO CALLED RIGHT WASM RINGS, WHICH UNIFIES WEAK-ARMENDARIZ AND STRONGLY RIGHT MCCOY RINGS. THE CLASSES OF WEAK- ARMENDARIZ AND STRONGLY RIGHT MCCOY RINGS DO NOT CONTAIN TRIANGULAR MATRIX RINGS, BUT WE SHOW THAT THE CLASS OF RIGHT WASM RINGS CONTAIN TRIANGULAR MATRIX RINGS. WE DETERMINE THE PRECISE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THIS NEW CLASS OF RINGS AND RELATED RING THEORETIC CONDITIONS. WE EXAMINED WHETHER SEVERAL KINDS OF EXTENSIONS PRESERVE THE RIGHT WASM CONDITION. AS A CONSEQUENCE WE EXTEND AND UNIFY SEVERAL KNOWN RESULTS RELATED TO WEAK-ARMENDARIZ AND STRONGLY RIGHT MCCOY RINGS [؟, 5].
