Abstract

 OBJECTIVE: THE PRESENCE OF BACTERIA IN BLOOD (BACTEREMIA) IS VERY IMPORTANT AND NECESSERY TO SAVE LIVE OF PATIENTS. IN THIS DISCRIPTIVE STUDY THE FREQUENCY OF EACH OF THE BACTERIA ISOLATED FROM BLOOD CULTURES PATIENTS THAT SUSPECTED TO BACTEREMIA EXAMINED.STUDY STARTED BEGINNING OF APRIL2012UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER IN 2013 MATERIAL AND METHOD: BLOOD CULTURES AND DETERMINING ANTIBIOTIC SUSEPTIBILITY WAS PERFORMED WITH USING STANDARD METHODS RESULTS ANALYZED BASE ON GRENDER, AGE, WARD, RESULTS ANALYSED WITH SPSS SOFT WAR AND P VALUE<0.05 RESULTS: OF ALL OF THE5245WITH BLOOD CULTURE 436 PATIENTS WERE POSITIVE BLOOD CULTURE (8.3%) THAT THESE 224 PATIENTS (51.4%) WERE MALE AND 212 (48.6%) FEMALES WERE ISOLATED BACTERIA CONTAIN THREE COMMON GROUP THAT CONTAIN NON FERMENTER BACTERIA, GRAM NEGATIVE BACILI AND NON COAGULASE STAPHYLOCOCCUS.
