Abstract

OBJECTIVES: MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS ARE HUMAN PLACENTA–DERIVED ADHERENT CELLS WITH THE CAPACITY OF COLONOGENESIS, PROLIFERATION AND DIFFERENTIATION TO THE MESODERMAL LINEAGES THAT ARE KNOWN AS THE MOST PROMISING CELL FOR CLINICAL AND PRECLINICAL TRIALS. THESE CELLS ARE PRESENT IN EMBRYONIC AND ADULT TISSUES AND THE BONE MARROW SOURCE IS AS THE MAIN SOURCE OF HUMAN MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS. HENCE, BECAUSE OF PRESENT SOME LIMITATIONS, IN THIS STUDY, AFTER ISOLATION; WE STUDIED CHARACTERIZATION AND DIFFERENTIATION PROPERTIES OF ISOLATED CELL FROM PLACENTA...
