Abstract

 FREQUENCY OF ANTI-TPO, T3, T4 AND TSH IN PATIENTS REFEREEING TO A PRIVATE LABORATORY IN MASHHAD CITY DURING LAST 6 MONTH OF 2013 SHERMIN BEHJATI, AZIZOLLAH BEHJATI, MUSTAFA AKBARI, ELHAM DIANATI IMMUNOLOGY LABORATORY, GHAEM HOSPITAL, MASHHAD UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, MASHHAD, IRAN. CORRESPONDENCE TO: SHERMIN_BEH@YAHOO.COM INTRODUCTION THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF HYPOTHYROIDISM IS HASHIMOTOS THYROIDITIS, A DISEASE IN WHICH THE THYROID GLAND ENLARGES AND ITS ABILITY TO PRODUCE THYROID HORMONE DECREASE.HASHIMOTO IS 5-10 TIME MORE COMMON IN WOMAN. BLOOD SAMPLE FROM PATIENTS WITH THIS DISEASE, REVEALS ENHANCED THE ENZYME THYROID PEROXIDASE AB LEVEL. HASHIMOTO CAN BE DETECTED BY BLOOD TEST OR THYROID SCAN. THE TEST IS USED THE DIFFERENTIATION OF THYROID DISEASE SUCH AS HASHIMOTO, S THYROIDITIS OR CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC IN CHILDREN.
