Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: AS THE PROBLEM OF UNDESIRABLE AND POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS NOISE HAS BECOME MUCH MORE COMPLEX AND SERIOUS, THE DEMANDS FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT AND MORE DIVERSIFIED LIFE STYLES ARE INCREASED [1].TO OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM, DIFFERENT TYPES OF MATERIALS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED TO REDUCE THE NOISE EFFECTIVELY AND PRACTICALLY [2].GENERALLY SOUND ABSORPTION DIVIDED INTOTWO CATEGORIES: FIBROUS OR POROUS MATERIAL THAT WHEN THE SOUND WAVE PENETRATES THE POROUS MATERIALS, THE SOUND ENERGY THROUGH FRICTION IS CHANGED INTO HEAT, RESONANT ABSORBERS CONSIST OF A MECHANICAL OR ACOUSTICAL OSCILLATION SYSTEM [3].
