 INTRODUCTION: IN THIS STUDY INVESTIGATED BIOSORPTION IN COMPARISION WITH ADSORPTION. HOWEVER BIOSORPTION IS A KIND OF THE ADSORPTION. IN BIOSORPTION PROCESS WAS REMOVED HEAVY METAL IONS AND DYES FROM A AQUEOUS SOLUTION BY BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS [1].DYES WERE RELEASED IN ENVIRONMENT BY INDUSTRIES SUCH AS TEXTILE, RUBBER, PLASTIC, COSMETIC ETC. SOME OF THEM ARE TOXIN. ADSORPTION PROCESS IS ONE OF THE EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR REMOVAL DYES FROM WASTE WATER. ONE OF THE BEST ADSORBENTS IS TREE LEAF BECAUSE, IT IS INEXPENSIVE.THE GOAL OF THIS WORK WASTHAT BE COMPARED THE ABILITY OF PERSIMMON LEAF WITH MCM-41, A MOLECULAR SIEVE, FOR DYE REMOVAL FROM SOLUTIONS.
