Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: IN THE INDUSTRY OF MECHANICAL, CUTTING TOOLS AND COOLING WATER SYSTEM ARE OFTEN SUBMITTED TO AGGRESSIVE CONDITIONS (TURBULENT FLOW, HIGH TEMPERATURE, ETC) INVOLVING THE EARLY APPARITION OF CORROSION [1]. DUE TO THIS, APPLICATION OF CORROSION INHIBITORS IS ONE OF THE PREVENTATIVE METHODS WHICH HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO BE HELPFUL IN COOLING WATER SYSTEM [2-3].FEW STUDIES DEAL WITH THE INFLUENCE OF HYDRODYNAMIC CONDITIONS ON HIBITOR PERFORMANCE IN LAMINAR AND TURBULENT FLOW SUCH AS: EFFECT OF MOLYBDATE CONCENTRATIONS, MULTIPURPOSE INHIBITOR, ADDITION HEDP AND HPA [3-4].
